"Or course not. How could I?" he shook his head and sat down next to her. "I dont think of you as a loser. People have problems. I...well im just messed up. You cant read easily. Its completely normal." He tried to reason, hopeing he didnt sound like a jack ass.

"It's not /normal/," Carly said, a slight bite to her voice. She regretted it, though, and looked down at her feet, still dangling above the water. "Thanks for not running away, though. I guess."

Max: "What do you want me to elaborate on?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Dana shrugged. "Nothing, if you don't want to I won't make you."

Max: "Well...if you want to know something, you have to be specific."

"Its normal for us." Derek shrugged.

"For who?" Carly's brow furrowed, looking over at him.

"Hmm." Dana tapped her lower lip, thinking. "How about: why do you hate them?"

"For the group. For us to have problems of some sort. Or we wouldnt have run away." Derek shrugged.

"That's true. But...I was afraid you wouldn't like me because I have a disability." Carly bit her lip.

Max: "Because of how they treated me, I guess." I could barely remember liking my family, come to think of it. Hm.

"Eh, i've been with worse. Reading? At least you arent alergic to water or something." He joked and smiled to her.

Dana nodded and looked down at the floor a second then back up at Max. "Alright. Well, now I know you a little better. Cool."

"Been with?" Carly smirked. "What are you saying, Derek?" She ignored the second part of what he had said.

"Nothing. Just, I'm not scared off by a reading issue. Now, if you said you were a drinker that might be something differnt." he thought back to one of his ex's who had a huge drinking problem.

"Oh, I thought you meant something else by that," Carly mumbled, a little disappointedly. "And don't worry, I don't drink. Devon would /freak/ if I did."

Max: I sighed. I didn't want people getting to know me better, but I said, "Cool," anyway too.

"What did you think i meant?" Derek asked, one eyebrow raised.

Teagan woke up again, not realizing that he actually fell asleep. He sat up, yawning and then threw on a shirt. He walked over to Cici and shook her shoulder lightly. "Hey... It's 8:30, just incase you had a time you wanted to wake up," he said softly.

Dana didn't want to ruin this conversation by having an awkward silence. "See ya later." She turned to go back to her room.

Carly smiled slightly, but shook her head. "Doesn't matter."

Max: "Uh...bye," I said, walking over to the living room and taking a seat. I was really bad at talking to people. This sucked. Maybe I should just take a nap here.

"Alright...If you say so." Derek shrugged and smiled to her.

Cici woke slowly, in a room that wasnt her own. "What in the....did i fall asleep here last night?" She asked, looking around Teagens room.

"Well, I mean, think about it. "Been with" what does that sound like to youuu?" Carly asked, kind of wanting him to know what she had been thinking about. Mostly because she wasn't sure where they stood now. It had only been one kiss, but he was almost acting like it had never happened.

"Wow...someone has a dirty mind." Derek laughed. "But no, thats not what i meant." He couldnt stop laughing at what she said.

Carly blushed. "Not like that! Like...UGH, you're the one with a dirty mind!"

"Again, its funny to see you get flustered." Derek chuckled. He kissed her cheek and stood up, kicking off his shoes and pulling off his shirt. He jumped into the pound and resurfaced, shaking out his hair. "The water is amazing."
