Dana: I shrugged. "I don't know, I guess I'll go read again...thanks for standing up for me with that guy, by the way."

Max: I shrugged. "It's okay. He was bothering me too. He..." I hesitated. "He's a lot like my brother."

Dana: I wrinkled my nose. "Really? Ew."

Max: I sighed. "Well...yeah. That."

Dana: "Sorry. You don't like your brother?"

Max: I shook my head. "Nope."

Dana: "Oh...."

Max: I sighed. "Let's, uh, not talk about him."

Dana: I nodded, then smiled slightly. "Hey, at least we're past that whole "vague" thing, though, right? Kinda? Maaaaybe?"

Max: I laughed. "Well, yeah. I mean, I don't think either of us really wanna talk about my brother, so let's just pretend we didn't."

Dana: I shrugged. "If that's what you want." I smiled. We had still talked about it, though, pretending or not.

Max: "Cool," I said. "So, uh, what should we do now?" Had I just said we? Was that assuming? I hoped she didn't catch that.

(awww little Max -pats-)

Dana: I shrugged again. "We could...play with kitty cat. but you don't like animals, I don't think. We could...."

(poor boy.)

Max: I shrugged. "I don't mind cats as long as they don't bite." They were okay. I was more apprehensive around dogs anyway because of Melly...
Don't think about her. I glanced over at Dana, hoping she didn't notice my focus disappear and return.

(okay in Facades, I thought Adam was with Melly? Or something. I don't know, I didn't read it because it would be too weird)

Dana: "Kitty cat doesn't bite." I beamed.

(lol why would it be too weird? EEP! Uh...you'll have to read the story for it to make sense. But first I have to type that part...Facades is EXTREMELY complicated. x_x)

Max: "Well...okay, let's go see the kitty," I said.

(Yeah O_o I'm thinking what happens is Adam sorta-kinda likes Melly -- maybe? -- but then her and Max have more of a...connection or something.
And it would be too weird because Adam's in it, isn't he? x.x Breadam
Dana: "Great! She's upstairs!" I bounced up the steps to find her.

(Hmmmm...yes but no. There are a lotta things going on in Facades, unfortunately.
Adam only shows up in like, five outta 62 chapters. There's not a whole lotta him, I promise. But there is a lotta Max. He's in 62 outta 62 chapters )

Max: I followed her. "We didn't lose her again, did we?"

(D: whoa)

Dana: I shook my head. "No. Where should we play with her? Since apparently you don't like going into rooms." Last time he was all uncomfortable that we were in a room together. Such a weird person.

(It's actually really, really long. Ugh. I can't shorten it, though. It has to include all 365 days, and then some for the conclusion.)

Max: "We can bring him to the living room." That was probably safest.

(you're writing every single day?!)

Dana: "Is the creepy guy still in there?"

(no, I did that last year. Wait. Are you talking about me writing about every day of his life, or writing a chapter every day?)

Max: I checked the living room. "Nah. He's probably bothering someone else now."

(no, I mean writing every single one of the 365 days in the book)

Dana: I nodded and grabbed kitty cat. "Good." We went to the living room.

(Oh. Yes but no. For example, one day might be "That day's picture was me picking up an egg from a bird's nest." Whereas Chapter 57 might be an entire day that's really important and needs 4K words.)

Max: "What are we gonna play?" I didn't know how to play with cats.

(Ohhh okay. I could read this to figure it out, but I'm lazy: why are they taking a picture a day?)

Dana: "I...didn't think of that."
