The Character Break Room

Cricket walked in, rubbing his wrists. "A'right. Who else 'ere is ready t' hit th' authors so 'ard that when they wake up, their clothes will be out of style?"

T.Mor raised a shaky hand. That seemed to sum up the situation nicely, he thought.

Cricket sighed, glancing around at the group before leaning against a wall. "This is getting a bit insane."

"Agreed." T.Mor managed coherently.

Ezra walked out of the room only to returned moments later, drained of all color. "I'm going to be killed."

"That's new, Senior Blanka?" Cricket asked, glancing at him through his hair.

"No," said Ezra, shaking his head. His face looked paler under his black hair. "My author planned how it would happen...with Mr. Face and Invis."

Peter
Before Cricket walked into the room, I had started becoming rather wet. Now, I was completely drenched. Soaked through. I looked at my sopping clothes with distaste, trying to evaporate the water with heat. When my lungs filled with water, I started coughing and gagging.
I.
Hate.
Water.
I don't care if it's necessary for life. More often than not, it's the bane of my existence.

Andrew looked at Peter, "You look like my friend Tommy, not good."

Peter
"Who's..." cough cough cough, "..ssat?" I choked out water, gagging and sputtering.

"My friend, who at the age of ten drowned." said Andrew, appearing next to Peter.

Peter
"Well," I said, clearing the offending water from my airways, "I was just nearly drowned. I mean, I would've been...but I got out."

"You okay?" asked Andrew, bending down to Peter's eye level.

Peter

"Do you think I'm okay?" I asked him testily. "Very nearly forcibly drowned, and now I'm covered in water."

Cricket
"Trade ya places," I said, eyeing my the rings torn around my wrists. I would have much rathered been in the water.

Peter

"No thanks," I told him. "At least drowning is less painful than anything else he does..."

Cricket
"That's comforting," I said, stuffing my hands in my pockets.

"Then you don't want to see Tommy. I'm sorry, Peter. I'm sorry, Cricket."

Peter

"It's not like you did anything," I said with a shrug. Then my mood smacked into a memory and dropped like a stone. "...I mean...it's all my fault that...that Cricket and T.Mor are..."

Cricket
"What are you talking about? I would 'ave gotten in trouble some'ow any'ow, it was just a matter of with who," I said, taking a hand out of a pocket just long enough to attempt to swipe that troublesome mass of hair out of my face. It fell back down again. I sighed and stuck my hand back into my pocket. "Just...sorry it was with you guys." My voice was quieter.

"It's not anyone's fault, I had to learn that too. You can't change fate. You can't save them. It's not like you put them there and help kill them by taking the knife yourself."

Cricket
"But I started th' trouble! I mean...at least back in that cell Peter 'ad a choice! And then that stupid bullet..." I trailed off and muttered, "Why didn't you just keep running?"

"Quit blaming yerself! It gets you nowhere! It's not Peter's or your fault." said Andrew.

Peter

"No, it is my fault," I said miserably. "If it weren't for me, they wouldn't have been in this mess! It's because of me that Mr. Face caught them..."

"Mr. Face is an arse. He'll kill anyone including children."
