Peter

"I know that," I said. "I'm not stupid! But I mean...they wouldn't have gotten caught if it weren't for me... It's entirely my fault... And now they're both going to die, and Ana's going to die, and it's all because of me..."

((STOP ANGSTING. MY GODS.))

"Peter, it's not your fault. Who's Ana by the way?"

Cricket
"Thank you for summing that up, there," I said. "No, it's not your fault...you're blaming yourself for what, being there? I mean..." I paused, clenched and unclenching my fists in my pockets. "I didn't even...well, I didn't even know you were th' one in there. I didn't know you were there, I just found myself there and 'ad this dumb idea, 'ey! I'm probably gonna get caught and die anyway, so why not free a few prisoners while I'm at it?' 'Cause that's just what I do sometimes...I don't think things through...and you just 'appened t' be be'ind that door...so y'know...I was going t' 'elp no matter what, but it was someone I knew, so it just...made th' stakes 'igher. And I'm sorry you didn't get out of there..." I trailed off from my rant.

Marley
"Everybody just PLEASE shut up, who CARES who's fault it is?! The three of you got in some bad trouble, but what happened, happened. You can't ever change that. None of you had anything but good intentions, but it just screwed up!"

"Just stop! Both of you are being idoits! It's none of yer faults and saying it was won't help!"

Peter

"...Cricket and T.Mor were the ones with good intentions," I said quietly, still miserable. "I just had selfish ones... I could've told them no, and then they wouldn't be about to die right now..."

The words still echoed in my head, taunting me. Tormenting me. Those words...

Cricket
"I was going t' die anyway, Peter," I said pointedly, Marley's words somehow going in one ear and out the other. "I'm lucky t' 'ave lived this long, and y'know what? I'm a'right with that."

Marley
"WOULD EVERYBODY PLEASE JUST STOP ANGSTING?! I WILL GO INTO THAT D*** CHAT AND SLAP ALL THREE OF YOU IF YOU DON'T FREAKING SHUT UP" Then I grabbed a bottle of apple juice and started drinking it to calm myself down. McGeez, what the freak, everybody just needs to take a chill pill

"Peter," Andrew sighed. His blue eyes met Peter's, "What happened?"

Peter

"I...I don't even know!" I said. "One minute I was walking through Auda, and the next I was surrounded by guards, being dragged off to the prisons. I didn't even do anything! And then they threw me in a cell, and that's when Cricket and T.Mor came..."

Marley
Okay, the only way to get through to these knuckle heads OBVIOUSLY isn't talking rationally. Or screaming, for that matter. As swift as a taco, like butter on air, I stood up, went over to Peter, and slapped him hard across the face. "It WASN'T YOUR FAULT. Okay?! Even if you HAD told them no, do you think they would have listened?! It's Mr Face's JOB to make you feel bad, physically and mentally. So stop angsting before we start calling YOU emokid!"

Peter

I slowly brought my hand to my face, staring at her with a slightly shocked expression. What...? I didn't really know...how to react to that...so I just sort of sat there, dumbfounded.

T.Mor:

"Erm...I'd just like to put in that I was going to get this eventually...And that I am not undeserving of that treatment...and...erm...even though I don't like acid generally...I mean...this is better than being killed for something stupid, like food theft." I awkwardly put in...awkwardly. Erm. Yeah.

"Why did they come?" asked Andrew. His blue eyes were filled with concern. "What did they do to you three?"

Marley
"Do you have wax in your freaking ears, Andrew?!" I asked with an exasperated sigh "They've been talking about it for HOURS, and you don't know what's going on still?" I walked over to him and did the motion of slapping, while sending his mind a dull stab of pain, so it had the same effect "You shalt be called 'emoghostkidwithlisteningproblems' or 'Egkwlp' for short from this point onward"

"I'm not Ezra...so how am I emo?" said Andrew, rubbing his cheek. "I just came in, okay? I haven't even gotton a clear story...all I know is Peter was drowned. I don't know about T. Mor and Cricket so shut up!"

Marley
"Uh... Ezra isn't the only emo one. You and Liz are both pretty angsty in your own rights, honestly. And I won't freaking shut up. What if they want to stop talking about it, huh? Maybe they just want to stop rehashing it and move on? What would you accomplish even if you did know, anyway?!"

"Fine, but how am I emo? Did you not just hear what I said?"

(Liz doesn't have any problems...

Marley, I just meant Ezra! Gosh...now all my charries are emo too. -.-")

((Also, Peter was only nearly drowned. There's more in store for him yet.))

Marley
"Okay, honestly, you, Liz, and Ezra are all really nice. It's cool that you care and stuff, seriously, and we need people to look out for other people like you guys do. But you guys all have... emo tenancies. Like rehashing too much stuff from the past, crying a lot, ect, ect, ect. And hey, it takes all kinds to make this world work, but sometimes certain kinds just need a good slap, a deep breath, and a chill pill"

T.Mor:

"Can we just drop this whole Mr.Face thing? I don't want to talk about it. Like...At all. It makes me feel all...guiltier than usual." I agreed with Marley.

"Eh...Liz is just...easy to cry. She doesn't have a bad past," Andrew shrugged, "I was just curious to know."

Marley
"A bad past doesn't mean somebody is or isn't emo. Heck, I had a bad past, but I've never been called emo."

"No, you're just violent...like Riddle...but different..." said Andrew.

Marley
"Hey... I'm not... okay... maybe you have a point. But sometimes, violence is called for. Like when I kept talking, but was ignored until I got slap happy"
