The Character Break Room

"Don't do it again, shortstuff." Andrew said, glaring at Marley.

Riddle:

"I DON'T NEED A REASON TO FREAKING SLAP YOU FOOL!" Riddle slapped the air several feet away from Andrew, because she could not see him.

T.Mor snorted despite himself. She was crazy.

Peter

I couldn't keep down a small, short chuckle. Riddle was...Riddle. Also...I kinda wanted to see Marley slap Andrew again. It would've been funny. It was funny the first time, after all.

"Yeah, like...you don't really hear me whining about my past, or anything..." I added, barely audible.

"You can't slap me, Riddle. You know that," said Andrew, "but Marley, sadly, can. Don't you dare though." Andrew turned to Peter, "No, no you don't. I think that makes you awesome but you can't keep it bottled up. You hardly tell your team anything."

Marley
"Don't I dare do what? This?" I said, slapping him again on the same side of the face "Or this?" I then slapped him on the other side of the face "Because honestly, they're equily satisfying. And don't you dare call me shortstuff again"

Peter

In spite of myself, I laughed. Marley was...quite the handful. She reminded me of this short, blonde character from an anime Izzy liked to watch. I couldn't remember the name, though...of the character or the show itself. Had something to do with alchemy, I think.

T.Mor:

"SO WHAT IF HE DOESN'T TELL THEM ANYTHING?! I don't tell Riddle anything! IT'S NOT MANDATORY TO A GOOD FRIENDSHIP TO TELL YOUR DEEPEST SECRETS TO EACHOTHER..." I was yelling and I didn't know why.

Andrew lept at Marley, tackling her to the ground. He pinned her arms back above her head. "I-never-said-tell-everything! You-think-I-tell-Liz-it-all?! But if you keep everything hidden you destroy yourself!" Andrew shouted back, still holding Marley down.

T.Mor:

"Better to destroy oneself in silence than to destroy your friends with unnecessary weight." I said flatly.

"Don't tell them that stuff! Just tell them part of it!"

Marley
"Doesn't mean you have to sob about it to every poor sap you find! You can't stand to hear anybody else tell THEIR story, without you trying to trump it with your own! Besides, it's called live and let live, now let. Me. Go" I spat out, getting honestly angry for the first time today, and kicking him right where it hurts, while sending another stab of pain into his mind.

Peter

"I agree," I said. "I have a reason to keep it inside. Do you know what that is? We're in fricking war. The four of us may be friends, but that doesn't change the situation. We are a team of Scouts, and I am the team leader. 'Scout Leader' is my official title. I can't go and complicate things by talking about heavy subjects. It makes the job harder. Besides, Senet already knows everything. And I don't destroy myself by keeping it all inside!"

T.Mor:

"In that case...I envy you Peter...Being able to keep yourself from falling apart like that." I told him. "I'm just..." I rolled my eyes. It didn't need discussed. "I have trouble." I ended awkwardly.

Andrew grimmaced, but he still held on. "Look! My writer's trying to fix me! Okay?! Stop bashing me for my flaws because of that she almost threw us away and she's still debating it! So stop criticizing me!" said Andrew, jabbing his knee in Marley's ribs.

Peter

"I dunno..." I said to T.Mor. "I just...don't think about it, I guess. I mean...yeah. I've kind of accepted everything already. But that's easier for me to say because my past wasn't nearly as bad as yours."

T.Mor:

"Yeah...I mean...And it keeps showing back up...Like...I don't think I'd have the trouble if it wasn't for the job. You know? Like...It seems to keep the wounds open." I said, thinking about that for a second.

"I think Riddle would want to hear it," said Andrew, still pinning Marley down.

Marley
I sent more pain into his mind, very intense this time "I said let me go!"

Andrew cried out in pain, but he held on. "NO!" he roared.

Marley
"What do you want from me, anyway?! I'm not going to take back anything that I said! You need to get over yourself! And don't blame it on GH, either, it's our job as a CHARACTER to shape our personalities!"

T.Mor:

"IF IT INVOLVES ANY KIND OF TROUT, LIVER OR NECROMANCY I DON'T CARE..."Came Riddle's reply from across the room

"Erm. I don't think that's entirely a good idea...I don't think it's partially a good idea. It's not a good idea to tell Riddle. She wouldn't get it." I told Andrew, over the yelling and mind-fighting and whatever all was going on that I couldn't see.

"Then flipping find someone!" Andrew roared. "I'm not trying to! I want to change!"

Marley
"THEN FLIPPING MOVE ON. LET LIZ GO, SHE'LL BE HAPPY WITH EZRA. YOU NEED TO MOVE ON ALREADY! GO INTO THE LIGHT OR WHATEVER!"

(Wow harsh...)

Andrew let go of Marley, that hurt more than her inflicting pain. He got off of her, sitting down not to far. "Do you know how hard it is to do all those things?" Andrew asked quietly, looking at her. His blue eyes were filled with pain and sorrow.

Peter

"Really..." I began, "you're in denial. Liz is in denial. You both need to just...wake up and move on. You're not accomplishing anything."
