Cricket
"Oi my my are you a'right? It must've been th' coffee! You know 'ow that stuff's bad for you," I said, rushing over and holding a laugh.

Marley
"It's... burning... I can... see the... liiiiiiiiiiiiggghht" I moaned out, my eyes fluttering closed and then open again as I started coughing and sputtering

Peter

"Who the hell has a heart attack at this age?!" I demanded feigning worry and joining Cricket at her side. I was a good liar.

Cricket
"No! Marley! Don't do it! LIVE DAMN YOU!" I kneeled next to her dramatically. "LIIIIVE!"

Peter

It took everything in my power to keep from cracking up. And I NEVER laugh. Ask...anyone that knows me. Heck, I don't even smile.

Cricket
" 'Tis death's cruel 'and that pierces this very moment! SHE'S DEAD! Oh 'orrible life, t' end so short!!!"

Marley
Wait? Dead? Crap... play dead. I made one dramatic gurgle sound, and my eyes closed. I held my breath, my entire body going limp

Peter

That got a snort out of me. I couldn't help it. But Cricket was just so... My shoulders shook a little. It wasn't exactly laughter; it was sort of a quiet, rapid exchange of breath. It contained no voice.

My gods, Cricket...

Cricket
"...Do my ears deceive me? She...NO! SHE...CROAKED! THE GARGLE OF DEATH 'AS TAKEN ITS TOLE ON TH' GIRL! It's official. She's gone to us! Oi my my, if there is a God or two above...WHY MUST TH' THEIVES DIE YOUNG?"

Peter

Okay. That one got me.

"Ahahaha!" I laughed. "My gods, Cricket, you're insane!"

I was laughing. This was...different. I couldn't remember the last time I actually...laughed.

Wow that's depressing.

Marley
'A good question, Crick. A good question indeed.' I sent him. It was impossible to tell I was using my power, though, because my eyes were closed.

Cricket
"Shhhhh. A moment of silence for th' deceased," I said solemly, bowing my head and trying not to laugh myself. I smirked at Marley.

Marley
I twitched a few times to add to the effect, my head lolling lazily to one side

Peter

"Oh give it up, Cricket," I said, still chuckling. "You're just about one of the worst actors I've ever seen! Seriously, nobody would believe that! But hey, you got me to laugh. That takes a great amount of skill."

Cricket
"Actually, I wasn't going for believable," I said, and threw a grin his way. I stood up chuckling. "You ought t' laugh more, y'know that?"

Peter

"Yeah, you're probably right," I said, grinning back. "...Well. That was an interesting diversion."

Marley
I kicked Peter slightly enough so Andrew wouldn't see, biting the inside of my lip to hold back a smirk 'Shut it, bonder, do you WANT to get into a conversation about relationships?! I think NOT'. Then Crick gave it up too, and I realized the thing was shot. Ah... fun while it lasted. But hey, I was tired, and the floor was comfortable. I started breathing again, but kept laying there.

Cricket
"Tell that t' th' dead lass. Marley, please tell me you're breathing again."

Marley
I held up a thumbs up, then let my arm drop again, my eyes remaining closed. Mmm.. I like this carpet...

Peter

"Are you planning on getting up any time soon, or do you want a pillow?" I asked Marley, still grinning.

I have been smiling for longer than one second. This is also new...

Marley
I made a low grumbling sound that sounded vaguely like "Mmmmmpilliowwwpleaase" I mean hey, having a heart attack takes a lot out of you

Cricket
I chuckled again and fell back against a couch, kicking my feet up. "Oi my my, I 'aven't done anything like that since...ah, back that time when I 'ad t' become an obvious distraction at th' spur of th' moment so Crooks could reap th' benefit of th' large crowds. They thought I was a traveling actor gone bad. I said no, I'm just good at being an 'orrible liar." I tossed a pillow at Marley.

Marley
I half cuddled with the pillow, half jammed it under my head "MmmthanksCrick" I muttered out before yawning. Ah... so relaxing...

Peter

I sat on a couch too, still smiling slightly.

"...Is it wrong that I can't remember the last time I laughed like that?" I asked after a moment of thought. "I think that's pretty wrong..."

Cricket
"Very wrong," I said, tucking my hands behind my head. "You, 'ave a problem, mate."
