The Character Break Room

"He has a problem, you have a problem, we all have problems. Now shut up so I can get some sleep, or I will get slap happy before you can say 'ow'" I mumbled into my pillow

Cricket
" 'ey. I thought you were dead," I said, closing my eyes.

Peter

"This is the Break Room, not the Nap Room," I said with a smirk. "And it's a free country."

Cricket
"It is? I thought it was th' Minds' Eye," I said.

Marley
"Congrats. You two make enough noise to wake the dead. Now shut-" my speech broke off into another yawn, and I felt the darkness start to lapse at my mind

Cricket
"Mmmm...now that you mention it, I could use a nap s'well. Either that or something with caffiene and...funniness." I was halfway to napping already.

Peter

"Gods, guys, you're gonna make me yaw--" Too late. "Though...that doesn't sound half bad, really..."

Cricket
"Mmmm...anyone want t' get me coffee?" I stretched out on the couch more.

Marley
I finally drift off to sleep, feeling really peaceful for some reason. It was... nice. I was surrounded by friends, we had some laughs, we were all safe... very nice indeed

Cricket
Sleepiness is contagious. Before I could pester anyone again, I was drifting off...what time was it, anyway? Ah, well. Mr. Face was gone, I wasn't running for my life, and I was reclining on a couch for crying out loud. It wasn't even the hard springy type. It's sort of hard not to fall asleep.

Andrew rolled his eyes, he didn't plan on talking about it. He shut of the lights and curled up on the floor, hidden by the shadows. His heart felt broken, and he shut his eyes trying to fall asleep.

(Yes, yes...ghosts sleep too....but only to pass the time or when they feel weak....)

In the morning......

Tommy pushed open the door, passing it through Andrew's legs. Andrew shivered, throwing his long arms over his face to block the dim hall light out. Tommy took a step forward, tripping over Andrew. He landed with a thud on the floor.

"W-what?! Who's there?!" Andrew grogily said, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

((Er. Pretend this was happening as Marley was faking the heart attack.))

T.Mor:

For a moment I was genuinely concerned. Then Cricket started acting. That...Well...I tried to surpress a grin. It was kinda hilarious. They carried on for a bit, and I noticed Peter actually smiling, which was an interesting thing to see on his face. He didn't do that often I didn't think.
Well, not that I was terribly smiley either...now that I thought about it...
They carried on and I just watched from my spot on the sofa, knees curled up to my chest, grinning like a fool. It was nice. Fun. Something I didn't get to see or be involved in all that often.

Then they were all going to sleep. I personally would have rather gone with Cricket's caffiene and entertainment option...Because...Well...Sleeping for me doesn't go all that well.
Er.
Yeah.
In order to keep everyone else from having to deal with my sleeping problems...I just stayed awake. It's not that hard to do...Staying awake. Not if you've done it enough...So I just sat and stared at the ceiling. And wondered if this counted as sleeping, even though there was no closing of my eyes or feeling of terror as I dropped into another nightmare.
I didn't want to impose. That would have been rude.

"Tommy?! What's...what are you doing here?" Andrew mumbled, streatching and yawning.

"Eh....shouldn't I ask the same of you?"

Cricket
I had been awake for some while now, though I didn't show it. I sighed suddenly. "Anyone else bored out of their minds?"

(oops, thought this chat merged. Guess it kinda sorta did, but kinda sorta didn't)

Marley
"Me" I yawned, sitting up and rubbing my eyes "You know... I haven't stolen anything in WAY too long. I'm in withdraw"

Cricket
"I 'aven't stolen much either. I'm on vacation." I sat up, knowing from experience that my hair was a terrible, terrible mess. I shook it out like a dog after it gets wet, and it landed as it normally looks.

Marley
"Nice hair, by the way" I chuckled "Lemme go get the weed whacker from the backroom. And stealing is MY /vacation/." I smirked

Cricket
"Aye, well if that's vacation, you can 'ave mine," I said with a grin, running a hand through my hair. Aaand, there. Two second styling, completed.

((We can have this scene be the point after they've left the Daycare and returned to the CBR. The lull point in the Daycare before Mr. Face gets back. That fixes the continuity issues.

Also, I have nothing to saaaaay...))

"And I'll gladly take it, too" I stood up slowly, yawning and stretching as I reached for my bag. "I don't remember the last time I slept that well" I muttered, more to myself than to him

good idea, WD! But they woke up again...

Cricket
"By th' way, come within a yard of my 'air with that weed whacker and you're in for an 'aircut yourself. I wouldn't be able t' see or sleep for months." I stood up, smoothing my shirt. "And aye, that was good, wasn't it?"

Marley
I touched my hair protectively. There were only about two things I knew about my mom, and that was that she had long hair, and her name was Marie. So I almost never cut mine "Yea, it was awesome"
