The Character Break Room

Peter
"Really, it's nothing," I said to Liz.

"They're involved, aren't they?" said Liz, pointing to Andrew and Ezra.

Some faceless guy with a bucket of blood came in and spattered it across T.Mor's face, turning around and leaving with no explanation.

"WHAT?! AM I KILLING PEOPLE? I BETTER NOT BE..." T.Mor ran out of the room to go check.
Several minutes later he came back into the room. "Crap...Peter...How's your arm?" T.Mor asked hesitantly.

"Told you not to." said Ezra, walking back into the room, no one had seen him leave.

Peter
"Hurts like a bitch," I grumbled, rubbing it. "But this is like rainbows and daffodils compared to what Asylum did..."

"You okay? Wait...Ezra..did you just say what I think you said?! Liz asked, wheeling on him.


"I..uh..."

Peter
"Heh...define 'okay,'" I said.

"I'm really sorry...But you know...It doesn't look like it'll be getting any easier...Now that Mr.Face is involved..." T.Mor muttered.

Peter
"Yeah," I agreed with a sigh. "I'm pretty sure what Aria said about sacrifices spared me from being one, but that other thing about me knowing a lot about the writers' powers and all the specifics involved...well, it's true. I don't want to know where that's going to lead, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to find out anyway."

"Mr.Face is going to want you around for a bit...Although...maybe not all in one piece...It's kinda hard to tell with him...I apologise in advance for any atrocities I commit...." T.Mor said.

"MAN. I WANT IN ON THIS! T.Mor committing atrocities? Dude! I want to see!!" Riddle said, excitedly.

"Mr.Face is there...That would be a nightmare." T.Mor replied.

"Nevermind. We're not on speaking terms right now..."Riddle said snootily.

Peter
"Also," I started, "can someone do something about the whole...bleeding thing? Because there are still parts of me open that really shouldn't be open..."

"Erm...I dunno...I could be strung out as a traitor if I suggest anything...erm...You could ask....if he's in a good mood, you might actually get something...Or you know, he'll solve that by just chopping off your whole arm...One of the two..."T.Mor said. He completely understood the inconvenience, having experienced similar things at the hands of Mr.Face before.

"I'm gonna die," Ezra moaned, walking back into the room again. Liz had left earlier.

Peter
"And?" I asked. "It's not that bad. I mean, the getting there isn't great, but it's not bad when you're done. And then your author just brings you back."

"She's tied up." said Ezra flatly.

Peter
"They're going to untie her when they're done sacrificing you," I told him. "Duh."

"I hate you," Ezra spat.

"You have some time yet...Don't worry...I'm Horrible at assembling computers..." T.Mor reassured.

"Why do I have to die?"

Mr.Face walked into the room, and sat down, on a sofa next to Riddle. He noticed she was sitting there, and shoved her off the seat. "I need a paid vacation.

Ezra held out a hand to Riddle to help her up.

Peter
"I feel like I do, too," I said tiredly. "Only my 'vacations' aren't paid. Because I don't get paid."

"I need one," sighed.Ezra.

"I get paid...By my taxpayers...I guess I could take a paid vacation...Hm..Maybe I will..." Mr.Face thought about that.

"Good. You do that Mr.Face." T.Mor said, somewhat terrifed of his employer.

Liz looked at the door, she had come back after Ezra had left. It had been a while and he hadn't returned.
