The Character Break Room

"You get used to it..." Riddle told Peter, stretching out on a sofa. "My god it feels so good to MOVE. I haven't doen that in pages." She said happily.

"I and him though can only die once...unless your author saves you..." said Andrew pointedly.

"I mean, saying things like 'man, I hate being murdered' and the like. You get used to the bad puns too. I for example, am Dead Tired." Riddle said witha grin at the bad pun.

Andrew gave it a try, "I'm ghosting you like doing this?"

Ezra snorted at Andrew's feeble try.

"Dude. Not funny." Riddle said flatly.

T.Mor stormed into the room looking an emotional wreck. " I AM A TERRIBLE PERSON AND DESERVE TO BE SHOT REPEATEDLY." He said desolately.

"Why?" asked Ezra, looking up.

Peter
"It really was awful, though," I said with a grimace. "I--"
I looked up as the door to the Break Room opened and T.Mor came in. I was about to say something to him, but then it opened for a second time. Sarah stepped through the doorway now, saw me...and ran up and threw her arms around me.
"Oh God!" she said, her voice quivering. She buried her face in my shoulder, trembling; all I could do was sort of awkwardly pat her own shoulder, unsure as to how I should respond.

Liz walked into the room, noticing a crying Sarah. "Are you okay?!"

((Well, she's not exactly crying, but she's getting there.))

Peter
"You were...dead..." she mumbled into my shoulder. I wasn't even sure if she heard Liz's question.
"I know," I told her softly, "but I'm here now, see? And you know that Winter wouldn't..."
"But I didn't know that on the other side of the Fourth Wall!" she said. "All I knew was that...I found you...and..."
"I didn't know at the time, either," I spoke. "But it's all over...all behind us. I'm okay, Sarah..."
Then, ever so quietly, she said, "...I couldn't bear...losing you..."
I felt moisture on my shirt.

Liz looked away, biting her lip. She began to think about what she would do if she lost Andrew or Ezra.

"T.Mor. You do not deserve to be shot repeatedly...Today." Riddle said in the least insane way possible.

"I'm a monster...Tying people up..Chopping off fingers...at least planning to chop off fingers..I mean...my god...what has the world come to?" He sat down dejectedly on the sofa next to Riddle.

"So you took a field trip back to Auda then? How's dad?" Riddle guessed.

"hahah. No." T.Mor said pointedly.

"What are you talking about?" asked Liz.

Ezra looked down, she had no idea about the revolt.

"This chat...I'm...I'm a complete monster...I hate it. It's what I'm like after a 15 hour shift without a sleeping break and a room full of rioters." T.Mor muttered into his hands.

"What chat?" asked Liz confused.

Ezra gave T.Mor a pleading look.

"Uhm...I'd rather not say. Those who know, know...And those who don't probably don't want to be involved..." T.Mor muttered.

"Do you know Ezra?" asked Liz.

"Uh...nope!" Ezra said quickly.

Peter
"Oh, I..." Sarah started. "I have to go...something about development..." She hugged me harder for a brief moment before letting go. "And...what are they talking about with this revolt thing? What is it?"
"Er...nothing!" I answered. "So, uh, see you, then."
"Bye," she said quietly before leaving the room.

"Peter...I'm sorry...I'm a monster...I mean...Sheesh. A real monster.."T.Mor said sadly. "I...Yeah. I have no defense for that. There is no LOGIAL reason for me to be acting that way..."

"Erm..You were trained that way for years...And you'd get baten to a pulp for letting people go sometimes? Does that count as logic?" Riddle asked.

"Revolt?!" asked Liz. "Tell me Peter."

Peter
I sank back into my seat, rubbing my forehead. One horrible situation after another...but at least I wasn't dead this time. Yet.
"Er..."

"Tell me," Liz demanded, her eyes narrowing.

T.Mor winced. "You don't really want to know..."

"T.Mor, I need to know." she said with warning in her voice.

"erm...No you don't?" T.Mor smiled hopefully. Maybe she'd just drop it...

"Just do it," she sighed.
