Daggerhorn..

Sam's chest puffed out a little bit at her finally agreeing. "Then I get to be right for once." He said beaming.

Sariah looked at him, her eyes searching his face. "You could always stay with us. Or...at least until we reach the next town and you could open another shop there." She obviously didn't look to happy about the second suggestion, but she wasn't about to ask him to stay with her.

Henry smirked and watched her, raising his brow. He took her hand and pulled her towards the music.

Artemis sighed and pulled away, watching them work "I've run away" she stated in awe

Megan: I followed laughing. I loved the music. I felt the music pulse through my viens. I started to dance. My body moved along with the belly dancers.

James looked at her and chuckled. "Yes, you have."

Henry watched, smiling.

Lark pretended to think about it. "I think ill stay here." He told her finally.

Josie laughed and smiled, "this once. I'm right all other times."

Megan: I felt alive and I went to Henry I pulled him and started to dace around him.

(I love how we've all given up on long post and are now just making it short and sweet XD)

"We're.. we're engaged" Artemis smiled

Sam raised his brow. "We'll see about that." He chuckled watching her.

Sariah couldn't help the wide smile that came across her face. "Really?"

Henry stood there, slightly shocked.

James nodded, chuckling. "Yes. We're engaged. And without your parent's permission too, let's not forget that." He said with smirk.

Artemis grinned widely "Oh, the horror. We'll be the village gossip for years to come"

James chuckled and winced again as he turned and faced her. "I'm always the talk of the village. I'm a gypsy after all." He said with a wink, running a hand through her hair. "You have to try frog now, you know that right?" He said teasingly.

Lark gripped her hand and kissed it gently. "Of course."

Josie grinned, "Yes, we'll see. " She glanced around. "I bet we can run off to climb those trees, " she pointed to a thick circle of trees. "And no one would notice. "

Artemis crinkled her nose and thanked the women as she handed James a new shirt and gave them the free to go "we'll see about that..."

Sam raised a brow. "Race you." He said and ran off as fast as he could.

Sariah blushed and smiled widely at him. She reached up and brushed his hair from his face, her eyes locked on his. "You're to good." she murmered.

James chuckled, taking the shirt with a thank you, and took Artemis by the hand and walked with her towards the fire. He raised his brow as he saw Sariah and some other guy making goo goo eyes at each other. He cleared his throat and Sariah jumped and looked at James and blushed wildly.

(I should go to bed, I have finals in the morning don't do anything drastic w/out me?)

Artemis followed him, just happy to be with him, their hands touching

James looked at Artemis. "so..tell me. What do you think it will be like, living on the road?" he asked her

Josie ran after him laughing wildly as she drew almost even with him.

Lark jumped a little way from Sariah, his face turning bright red. He stood and held out a hand. "You must be James. My names Lark."

James looked up and him and chuckled. "I'd shake your hand, but I believe I might tear something." He chuckled, glancing down at his many bandages. "It's good to see you agian though. I believe it was your sister who ran into me, and you that was looking after my sister. Yes?"

Sariah sat there blushing madly, hiding her head in her hands.

Sam made it to the trees first, but helped her up first.

Lark chuckled,"I guess you could call her my sister. She's like one. And yeah, that was me." He glanced around slowly at first then faster.
"Josie!" He called out.

Josie let him help her up then heard Lark. "Come on!" She said softly and climbed deeper into the thick trees, able to climb from one to another.

Sam followed her, now slightly nervous because it was getting dark. "don't go to far Josie, we don't want to get lost."

Sariah looked around. "Sam?" she stood up and looked at James, her face paling. She took off towards the trees. "Sam?!" She called out worriedly

Lark took off after her, " Josie!"

Josie laughed a little, "We wont get lost." She climbed down to a lower branch.

"If you say so." Sam murmered, following her. He looked up, hearing the distress in his sister's voice. He glanced at Josie looking torn. He hated hearing his sister upset. He took a deep breath and mouth a sorry. "Over hear, Sariah!" he called out. Sariah whipped her head to the side and started to run towards the trees where she had heard Sam's voice, but something tackled her to the ground. She screamed.

Josie froze on her branch, yellow eyes holding her own. The wolf growled softly then leapt forward tearing her from the branch.

Lark ran forward pulling out his hammer. "SARIAH!"

Sam looked at her wide eyed and grabbed her hand, pulling the knife from his back pocket he threw it at the wolf and made it let go of Josie, and pulled her up to the branch he was on. "Come on, climb higher." he said coaxing her up the branches.

Sariah got up and tried to run, but the wolf caught hold of her skirt, jerked it's head and she was back down on the ground again. She tried to crawl away, kicking at it as it nipped at her, catching her foot. She screamed in pain as she felt it's teeth sink clear to the bone. "LARK!" She screamed, kicking it in the face with her good leg until it let go.

Lark swung his hammer and felt the bone crush in the wolf's head. He rushed forward and pulled Sariah into his arms.

Josie felt the tears streaming down her cheeks as she forced the pain from her mind and climbed up. Blood swelled in the gashes across her chest and down. She kept climbing.
