Wishing stars

"A Venezuelan blend," Noah smiled. "It was said to have euphoric qualities, but I didn't believe it," he laughed. He could feel his entire body tingling with a rush from the caffienne.

Ryder sighed. "come on. I'll take you home." He muttered as he walked back towards his bike

Alison laughed and smiled "I need to do something then just sit here." She stood up.

Lucia got to her feet and was hit by a head rush. She shook her head and took a deep breath. "Fine," she muttered. "I was fine," she said, out of his hearing range. She followed him over to his bike, looking at it a bit hesitantly.

Noah smiled. "We could find something else to do, if you want," he said, his voice taking on a slightly suggestive tone. Only, he didn't mean for it to sound like that. It was the coffee talking.

He opened the seat compartment and handed her a helmet, then put the compartment back down and straddled the bike, waiting for her to get on.

Alison smiled and laughed softly. "Of course you would think that way." She held her hand out for him. "I have a idea."

Lucia put the helmet on and slide onto the bike behind him, hesitantly wrapping her arms around his waist. She held her breath for a minute before letting it out her nose. "Thanks," she said, over his shoulder. Something about this made her stomach twirl, especially after yesterday, after all the things she didn't want to hink about.

Noah cocked his head for a second and took her hand. "What's your idea?" He asked with a curious smile.

Alison laughed "Either we could go swimming and I could beat you or..." Her voiced traild as she smiled.

Ryder sighed. "You're welcome. Did you have any place you wanted to go?" He asked as he started up the bike, glancing at her over his shoulder.

"No," Lucia said. "Anywhere but home." She couldn't believe what she was actually saying. Home was the one place she had always felt safe, but right now, the thought made her skin crawl. Something about 'home' didn't feel right. She's rather spend time out in the world.

Noah raised an eyebro. "Or...?" He trailed, hoping she'd finish her sentence.

Alison laughed softly. "Forget it..." She said with a seductive smile. She walked to the door and opened it up.

Noah followed close behind her, feeling her body heat radiating off. "Oh, don't be so cocky you'll beat me. Let's make this interesting..." He grinned.

Alison turned and smiled. "Alright lets... bet on it."

Ryder smiled and took back to the road and hit the highway. A few miles down, he took the exit for Stratton Lake and smiled. He stopped at the booth, paid for their ticket, and then started around the lake, cutting off the trodden path and onto a smaller one that wasn't that noticeable, still on his bike. He came to a stop right by the lake's edge in a little green cove that was blocked from the view of everyone else. "How's this?"

Lucia smiled a little. "This is... Really nice," she said, her smile widening a little. He parked the bike and she slipped off, taking the helmet off, too. She shook out her hair walked walked by the edge of the water. She glanced back at Ryder, her smile turning a bit more shy.

Noah nodded. "Okay, so... If you win, what do you get?" He asked. "Because if I win, we get to hang out again."

Ryder glanced at her and put the helmet on his handle bar and chuckled. Mischief gleamed in his eye and he ran at her, lifting her up off the ground and taking them out into the water and then fell back, both of them getting totally soaked. It was good to have activities like these because it didn't require much thought, and Ryder hated thinking. Especially about things like feelings and what he was going to do with his life. All the better, he was doing it with a pretty girl he happened to have stirrings for.

Alison smiled "I get a kiss." She said with out thinking. She blushed and turned to head towards the pool downtown.

Noah grinned. "Okay. Sounds like a deal," he said, taking her hand and leading her down quickly. They moved down the street swiftly, filled with excited energy to get to the pool. When they got there, he had his shirt off quickly.

Lucia gasped as warm water surrounded her. Her arm went around Ryder's neck, keeping herself close as she treaded water. With her free hand, she pushed her hair back and then smiled widely. "You're terrible," she joked.

Ryder smiled at her his own hair slightly in his face. "No, I just know how to have fun." He chuckled as he watched her.

Noah jumped in after her and grinned. "On your mark... Get set... Go!" He yelled, starting down the pools length. He felt so at home in the water. He was quick, but he was keeping up with Alison.

Lucia smiled and looked down. "I guess I'll take notes," she said. She was considered slightly uptight, by her parents and a lot of her friends. Even in the water, she could feel the heat from his body as it brushed hers.

Alison swam her hardest and she went to touch the wall to win and she came up and said. "I WIN!"

Ryder chuckled as he eyed her for a moment and kissed her gently, then lifted her out of the water and tossed her a little bit. She didn't go very far.

Lucia laughed as she went under the water. She came up, pushing her hair back a little. She stayed out where she was, watching him. There were droplets of water in her eyelashes that she blinked away. If only he could have felt how she did. Her lips tingled with a slightly warmth.

Noah chuckled. "Fine, you win," he said, swimming to her. He pulled himself out of the pool, sitting on the edge so his legs were in the water. He pulled her out, too, and leaned in, kissing her lips gently.
