Lana smiled as she finished the leg and it stayed down. "The baby likes chicken. " she declared.

Grace couldn't remember a time she felt more, alive. She felt as though she had found the thing to hold her here on earth, Jess. Pushing the thought she couldn't keep him forever, that she would die as the angel had told her, she pushed it away and focuses on Jess.

Ryder smiled widely and handed her another piece, already done with two pieces.

Jess couldn't focus on anything else but Grace. Even at the times that they slowed, he couldn't find himself being without her. Even with her wings. She was...she was his world.

Grace finally lay against his side. She smiled tiredly. "Maybe, " she yawned. "We should go back to the hotel."

Jess sighed and nodded. "Maybe." He said sounding a little less tired than her, yet tired none the less. "We have to find our clothes first."

Grace chuckled, "I just bought that outfit too." She pulled herself up and began searching.

Lana finished after about ten or so legs. "I vcant eat another bite."

Ryder chuckled and smiled widely. "I'm glad we found something you can eat."

Jess sighed and found her clothes and tossed them to her, and then found his own and pulled them on.

Lana nodded and grabbed his arm, pulling him towards the bed where she curled up against him.

Grace smiled and pulled on the clothing. "How are we getting back?" She asked. "I haven't heard a cab for awhile now. "

Jess shrugged and smiled. "Walk?" He said as he adjusted his shirt and walked over to her, kissing her nose. "Don't worry, I'll keep the big bad wolf away." he chuckled.

Ryder smiled and held her close, his mind still running wildly with the fact that they were going to have a baby.

Lana let her eyes droop shut. "Love you." She whispered before falling asleep.

Grace laughed, "I think that'd be my job."

"I love you too," Ryder murmered and kissed her head gently, holding her close as he too fell asleep.

Jess rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Ah no. I've got this don't worry." he said with a wink, his arm draping over her shoulder as they walked back towards the hotel. Each light they passed he made sure to brighten some until they had reached the next light so that they were never in the dark.

Grace smiled and stayed close. Not that she was frightened, she knew things worse then the dark.

Lana slept peacefully, waking to a strange feeling. She opened her eyes to find herself on the roof of the hotel. Growling she grabbed her cell from her pocket. "It takes after you!" She declared. "I'm on the roof!"

Ryder blinked a few times and looked at his cellphone, only partly awake as she yelled at him unhappily. He appeared on the roof and yawned, picking her up and appearing back in their room. He had a large, pround, smirk on his face.

They walked into the hotel and Jess sighed. He didn't want to go back to his own room. He was afraid she'd disapear.

Lana growled annoyed. "Where would the baby get the idea I should sleep on the roof?"

Grace smiled and gripped his hand, not willing to let go. "Come on." She led him to her room. It was littered with shopping bags.

Jess watched her as he followed with a smile.

Ryder chuckled and smiled. "If I recall, we both like the roof. You when you're in your shapes, and me when I'm just thinking." He shrugged as he set her back on the bed. His hair was an absolute mess. Total bed head.

She cracked a smile at his hair. "But it's never seen the roof." She realized. "What does that mean?"

Grace moved bags out of the way and threw herself on the bed.

Jess watched her and smiled, leaning against the wall that jutted out from the doorway, his arms folded.

Ryder looked at her for a minute and then shrugged. "Telepath of some sort?"

Grace looked up at him then dropped her head back down. "What?" She mumbled into the bed.

Lana smiled, "I like that idea." She snuggled close to Ryder. "Am I allowed to sleep here with Daddy?" She joked.

"You're just beautiful." Jess said with a shrug, smiling almost saddly at her.

Ryder chuckled and held her close, burrying his face in her hair. "Let's try this again." he chuckled as he began to fall asleep.

Lana nodded tiredly and shut her eyes, quickly falling asleep.

Grace smirked, "And that's a good reason to just stand there?" She glanced up and caught the sad tone to his smile. "What wrong?"

"Nothing." Jess said, quickly regaining his composure and walking over to her and laying next to her. "Nothing is wrong." Liar his thoughts screamed.

Ryder held her close as he fell asleep, hoping he wouldn't get another call from her saying the kid had poofed her somewhere.

"RYDER!" She screamed into her somehow dry phone as she pulled herself out of the pool. "IT DOESNT WANT TO SLEEP!"

Grace frowned at him, "Liar."

Ryder appeared at the edge of the pool and sighed, looking half dead from the terrible amount of sleep he was getting. He held out his hand to her.

Jess watched her and sighed. "What if I said I was sick?" His voice was gentle, quiet.

Grace got quiet. "I would ask how so?"

Lana smiled gratefully and took his hand. "This is quite annoying. I didn't want to swim. I don't swim. Why does the baby insist on swimming when we should be sleeping?" She grumbled.
