Blake held onto Artemis, not willing to let her go for a moment.

((Lol i thought she got hurt, i was like what the heck?!))

Alyson: I shrugged. I didnt remember anything, let alone a phone number to my supposedly rich best friend. We basically had no money and no place to stay. "Well it looks like our best shot at surviving is either robbing a bank or spending the night in central park." The first idea sounded better though...

Autumn blushed. "You can be the beast later," she grumbled with a wink as she tugged him down the hall. She was determined to get this done before her stomach acted up again.

Jess smiled at her and kissed her gently. "ready?"

Artemis smiled "you ready?"

Grace nodded, "Lets go "

Blake grinned, "Yes, completely."

Jess pulled her up and out of the bed and took her hand nervously and walked with her out of the bedroom and out the door.

Grace smiled reassuringly at him. Everything would be fine. She hoped.

Drake grinned "sounds good to me" he allowed her to pull him along.
Artemis tugged his arm "well lets go then!" she laughed

Autumn stopped after a moment and looked up at him and bit her lip. "I just realized, I don't know where to go."

Jess gave a slight nod and smiled a little at her as he walked with her to the doctor's office. They got him in right away, and they began to do their testing and scans.

Grace sat down nervously.

Blake chuckled and started walking.

After a few hours, a nurse came out and brought Grace back with her and let her into a room with the doctor and Jess. Jess's face was blank and his hands folded in his lap, the doctor looking sad.

Grace looked back and forth between them. "What is it? What's wrong with you?"

The doctor looked at Jess and sighed, looking at Grace. "Jess has what's called Hodgkins Lymphnodia. It's a type of cancer. It's taken place around his heart and lungs."

Grace froze. "C-cancer?" She felt herself start to get dizzy.

Jess moved to catch her, helping her over to a chair. He watched her and tried his best to give a small smile. The doctor watched and sighed. "Yes, cancer." He watched them both. "He's at stage 4 right now, there isn't much really we can do for it."

The room spun, cancer..... she looked at them with tears in her eyes. "How much time?"

The doctor sighed and shrugged. "Little more than a month perhaps more. It's hard to tell. But I wouldn't say more than three months." Jess's face was blank, but his eyes were filled with sadness.

Grace fainted.

Jess held her and sighed as the doctor gave him a cold compress to use on her.

Grace woke, the angel's words echoing in her mind.

Jess watched her. "Are you alright?" he asked looking worried.

"I'm fine..." she said then hesitated. "What if I didn't tell you all the consequences of being kicked out of heaven? "

Jess watched her closely. "What else is there?"

She closed her eyes. "Angels aren't meant to live on earth. After so long, we begin to lose spirit energy. We......die. for good." She couldn't bring herself to look him in the eyes. Why didn't she tell him earlier. Now, they we're both- she broke the thought off.

"How long?" Jess asked as he watched her. He couldn't bare the thought of her dying, but he also couldn't bare the thought of her hurting while he was gone. So maybe..it was a win win situation.
