Daggerhorn..

Artemis's eyes opened wide in shock and she scrambled back "J-j-james?"

The wolf laid there whimpering and looked at her. James's eyes stared back at her saddly, a tear seeming to roll down his fur covered cheek. He stood wobbly on his feet, and sore. He stared at her and then turned and ran off.

Mehina, hearing all the commotion came out and saw him running off and sighed shaking her head. "Poor man."

Artemis stared off after him, her mind a chaotic mess. was that just.. And did he really just turn into.. See, she knew this was a dream.. after all, this was too good and too crazy not to be.
the world swam before her and she fainted

James found her and whinned, his muzzle nuzzling her neck. When she didn't move, he laid down next to her, his ears back and growling at anything that came near her.

Artemis stirred, blinking weakly a few times as she fought to regain her bearings. She felt something furry move by her side and looked down at it, confused. She screamed and scrambled away. It was a wolf!!
"James!" she yelled, her voice cracking in fear "James, help!!"

James sat there, his ears laying back, obviously sad. His eyes staring into hers, begging her to realize it was him. He whined and lifted a paw and set it back down. He was larger than most wolves, his fur a nice grey-ish white.

Artemis shivered as it held her gaze, his eyes appearing full of emotion. Artemis rubbed her arms in attempt to fight off the brisk winter chill. She stared at it, confused as to why it wasn't trying to make a meal out of her. It didn't seemed aggressive at all, more like.. sad? Her memories flashed before and suddenly she was watching herself holding James and he turn into a wolf in her arms.
"no" she gasped, scrambling a little further away and examining the wolf "james?"

His ears perked up as he watched her and watched her scramble back a little more and one ear laid down back in it's sad position. He whined and took a few steps closer and sat down. He barked at her gently holding out the last little part. He was having a hard time keeping himself him while in the wolf mind frame. He stared at her. Atremis. Please. It's me. his thoughts called out to her, wishing she could hear.

Goosebumps crawled across her skin and she felt like someone was calling her name. She eyed the wolf in apprehension "james?" she repeated, confused

((Question, would noise change too? Or Sariah? They both got bit))

(bells! *tackles*)

James nodded as best he could and laid on the ground, staring up at her, letting out a soft whine. He crawled over to her and just laid there, making sure not to scare her, his deep chocolate eyes staring up at her, begging her to realize it was him.


((it depends on the severity of the bite. But they could if you wanted them to. I doubt sariah would, because hers wasn't as detrimental as James's or Josie's))

((unfortunately I have to go and won't be back for a good couple of hours...))

Artemis hesitantly reached out and touched his fur, her hand snapping back as she expected him to snarl or bite down. He didn't and she reached out again "james?"

Lark smiled and picked up her hand. Bringing it to his lips he gently kissed it, "That's a grand idea.." he murmured.

Josie woke up and shivered, pulling the blanket tighter around her. When did it get so cold? "Sam?" She wimpered as pain rattled her bones. She shivered again and stumbled from the bed.

Sam was standing outside, watching the sunrise.

Sariah blushed and looked at him with wide eyes. "Really?" She asked sounding slightly surprised.

James put his head on her hand and let out a deep breath and looked up at her, a sad look in his eye, a small whine escaping him.

"James!" Artemis exclaimed, threading her hand through his fur "my god! what happened to you?!"

James touched his muzzle to her forehead as if he was kissing it, happy she had finally recognized him. He then looked at her, took a step back, and pretended to bite his own shoulder, hoping she'd understand. Trying to tell her that it was the wolf bite.

Josie stumbled from the tent and looked around the deserted camp. Knowing she'd never be able to sleep in this pain she made her way slowly towards the trees, Sam wasn't here to stop her from climbing. Her face drained of color as another wave of pain racked her body and she almost fell. Determined she made herself continue forward.

Artemis frowned, self hate filling her. so the bite he received while protecting her turned him into this. "I'm so sorry" she choked, reaching out to stroke him once more

Megan looked at Henry and sighed. "What should we do?" She asked him softly.

Henry shrugged. "What ever you'd like to do."

James stepped up to her and in his own way, hugged her, trying to tell her it's ok. He sat down infront of her and looked for her to do the same.

Sam found Josie headed towards the woods. "Josie! What are you doing!!"

Lark grinned and kissed her hand again. "Why not? I love you, why not make it so we can't be seperated?"
