Devon chuckled and turned to go inside. "See ya, Demi." He went up to his room without another word.

"See ya Devon," Demi sighed. She raised her hand to the cheek he kissed and smiled.

Demi had gone back inside and up to her room when Devon had gone in. She woke early the next day and forced herself out of the bed. The attic was warm with summer heat and she could tell this was going to be a longish day.

Devon was downstairs, playing with his PSP in the living room, instead of video games in his own room. He liked to change it up.

Demi walked down the steps and passed through the living room. "Hey," she smiled over at Devon.

Devon glanced up. "Oh, hey. I was just thinking about how it gets kinda hot in the attic...Maybe you can have Derek's old room."

Demi blinked a couple times. "I'm sorry, I must have heard you wrong. I'm already getting a new room?" did this have something to do with his kiss on her cheek last night?

"Yeah, I decided that your not so bad, after all," Devon said, a slight smile on his face.

Demi smiled back to him and ran a hand through her slightly bed tosled hair and attempted to fix it as best she could. "I'm gonna grab some breakfast. Want anything?"

"I already ate, I've been up since six. But thanks for the offer," Devon said, looking back down at this PSP.

"And I thought I was an early riser at eight," Demi laughed lightly before heading into the kitchen and grabbed some food. She grabbed an apple and a glass of milk and went back into the living room. She sat down next to Devon and watched him play.

"Quit watching, you're creeping me out," Devon said, half-kidding.

Demi laughed lightly and looked away. "Better?" she joked slightly.

"Now I can't see your pretty eyes, though," Devon said, not looking away from his screen, and really talking absentmindedly. He was on an important level.

"Youre impossible to please!" she laughed and shook her head. She turned back to him and watched him play.

"So I've been told," Devon mumbled.

"It's a good thing you are sweet." SHe smiled to him and leaned against him slightly to watch him easier.

Devon chuckled. "I'm "sweet"? That's a first."

Max: "Will I see you later?"

"Do you...want to?" Dana asked, surprised by that question. She glanced over her shoulder, the cat still in her arms.

Max: "Uh...sure, yeah, that'd be cool?" I said, scratching my head.

Dana laughed. "It'd be cool?"

Max: "Uh...yeah? It would."

"So is that a yes, you do want to see me later? That was the question, we got kind of off-track," Dana said with a smile.
