Sound of Madness

Devon stopped in the doorway of the living room when he noticed Demi there. He leaned casually against the doorframe and crossed his arms. "Hey."

"Hey," Demi glanced up from the book and smiled slightly.

"So, I uh, made my decision while I was on the walk," Devon said slowly, looking down at his shoes and sighing.

"Oh...really?" She glanced back down in her book, not sure if she wanted to hear this.

"Yeah," Devon said just as slowly as he shoved his hands in his pockets and strode across the room to her until he was in front of her, looking down. "It was a really hard decision...but...."

He paused and tried to gauge how she was feeling. "I decided you're worth it."

A smile twitched at the corners of his mouth until he was grinning.

Demi kept her gaze down as he began to speak. When he said she was worth it, her heart stopped. She jumped up from the couch and threw her arms around him.

Devon laughed and took her into his arms, hugging her tightly.

Demi smiled widely up to him. She leaned up a bit and kissed him quickly and gently.

Devon held the kiss, though, making it rougher than she had.
This was what the decision meant, after all. He could do this.

Demi gasped slightly when he held the kiss. But she didnt object.
She leaned up and kissed him back.

Devon slid his hands down from her back to her waist and pulled her closer.

Demi actually forced herself away from him, her breathing ragged. "Careful...other people live in this house. If we are going for the 'no one finding out', making out in the middle of the living room wont be what we are going for."

Devon studied her face.
He wanted her.
Maybe this was why this was supposed to be illegal.
He shrugged off the feeling and nodded.
"You're right."

Demi took his hand and started out of hte room slowly, looking over her shoulder to check to see if he was following her willingly. She wanted him badly. It wasnt healthy how much she wanted him.

Devon was confused, but followed her.

demi lead them to her room and closed the door. She then looped her arms around his neck and kissed him again. "There some privacy."

Devon smirked, but was a little surprised. Usually he had to work to get this close to a girl. Oh well. He picked her up in his arms so she wouldn't have to strain, and leaned his back against the wall, kissing her. She was so light that it was nothing.

Demi smiled widely and deepened the kiss. This was bad, and part of her knew it. She shouldnt be falling this fast for him. She shouldnt be putting him in this much danger. But then, another part, the dominate part, told her to just go with it.

Devon wanted to tangle his fingers in his hair, to press up against her, to be closer than they were even now. "Do you want to move to..."
He didn't have the courage to finish that mumbled sentence.

"Uh huh." Demi nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. He didnt need to finish the sentence for her to know what he was talking about.

Devon easily strode across the room and put her down gently, then climbed on top of her, holding himself up with an arm on either side of her. He smirked at her a second, then went back to kissing her.

Demi's heart was pounding harder and faster. She felt his lips touch her again, and electricity went through her. their chests touched as he was ontop of her, but he wasnt really on top of her. His weight was on his front arms to keep it off her.

Devon rolled them over, though, so that she was on top of him. That way he could touch her if he wanted to. Right now he was only brave enough to keep his hands at her waist, though.

Demi let her fingers tangle in his hair as they kissed. She pulled away for a millisecond before kissing his neck and down his jaw line before moving back to his lips.

Devon had a burst of courage and moved his hands below her waist, his thumbs locking into two of the belt loops on the back of her jeans.
