"Paper and Ink." Mark said with a large smile, thinking she was actually going for it.

Artemis shook her head, amused by his innocent enthusiasm "nice"

"You gonna come? I'm gonna keep bugging you until you do." Mark said with a sly smile.

((Sighs*I really wanna join but it would take forever to type the charrie sheet on my phone....you all know Grace. What if I used her ghpst form and did a charrie sheet for her later and just used her now?)))

Artemis sighed "fined" she caved "I'll come"

Mark smiled widely and drapped his arm over her shoulder. "Great, let's go." he said as they walked towards Brendon's garage where he worked.

Artemis tensed as he placed his arm around her "wait, now?" great, that plan backfired

"Yup." Mark grinned. Bridget had appeared and was walking next to Brendon, taking the paper from his hand.
"HEY! You little twirp, give that back!" he growled as he chased after her.

Artemis froze, her eyes opening wide as she watch the boy chase the girl. Chase the dead girl. what the?

Mark rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Bridget." he growled. "Brendon! what are you doin man?" He asked trying to make it cool, not let her know that they could see the little dead girl. Brendon stopped and opened his mouth as he pointed to his running away magazine and then looked at Artemis and sighed. "I was...getting a work out." he muttered blushing as he rubbed the back of his head.

Artemis ducked out from under his arms and did the only thing she knew how to do- run. She ran and she didn't stop till she found herself in the comforting embrace of the city limits woods. What had just happen?

Mark looked at Brendon. "Did my breath stink?" he asked looking baffled and dejected. Brendon shrugged.

Artemis let out a shaky breath, sinking to the ground.
"ello" a spirit chirped
Artemis jumped and glared at it, "what do you want?"
"help?"
"that was a retorical question"

Brendon caught sight of Bridget and ran after her. Mark sighed and ran a hand through his hair and decided he might as well go after Artemis. He ran in the direction he had seen he go.

The spirit sat down across from her, forcing her to meet his gaze "Well that's no fair"
"deal with it" she seethed "leave me be"
"help me!"

Mark saw her talking to a spirit and raised a brow as he watched her from a distance.

"NO" artemis scowled "you're dead. deal with it. go do whatever it is you dead people do. just leave me be"

Mark watched her and walked up to the spirit. "I'd do what the lady said. There's a boy chasing a ghost girl. He'll help you." he muttered.

Artemis froze and stared up at boy, Mark she believed he told her he was.
"Thank you!" the spirit exclaimed, exasperated "at last a helpful person!" he poof, going off to find said medium
artemis just continued to stare up at him, her gray eyes wide and her lips parted, lost for words

Mark leaned against the tree and gave a smirk. "They get sort of annoying don't they." he chuckled quietly as he watched her.

Artemis scrambled onto her feet "you see them?" what a stupid question, but that was about all she could say right now, she was still in shock. She was not alone?

Mark nodded. "Me and Brendon both." he chuckled as he watched her.

"I didn't know there was others" she breathed, peering at him out of the thick curtain of hair

Mark chuckled and nodded, gently reaching out and brushin the hair from her face. "Oh ya. We just..don't like people to know. We try and keep hidden so the Soul Searchers don't find us."
