Till Death Do Us Part..

Artemis fumbled and tripped over a rock, her eyes widened in horror as he closed the distance between them

The ghost went to move ontop of her, but was tackled to the ground by Mark. Both ghost and Mark were wrestling on the ground now.

Artemis yelped and scrambled away "mark!" she breathed

Mark growled as he reached his lighter, giving it a slight flick to turn it into a short knife, and then drove it into the ghost, watching as it's light leaked away and he faded into oblivion. Mark fell to the side and onto his back, closing his eyes in an attempt to catch his breath.

Artemis crawled over to him and poked him tentatively "mark?"

"Yes, Artemis?" Mark asked, his eyes still closed as he tried to catch his breath, his lower body aching still.

"you didn't just lose a 4th generation... right?"

Grace's eyes widened, then she melted into the kiss.

"No, I didn't." Mark said and opened one eye. "I'm still trying to recover from no sleep and the first three generations." he said and closed his eyes again as he finally caught his breath. "Are you alright?"

Brendon smiled and pulled away looking down at her.

Artemis ignore his question and replied with one of his own "why haven't you slept?" she tilted her head curiously

"Four searchers came to the garage last night while I was with you," Mark said, his eyes still closed. "Brendon had taken care of them, but he was still a little woozy from helping out a ghost girl at our place. So I took watch last night."

Artemis swallowed hard "why does everyone know of us?" she asked, remembering what the spirit said

Grace smiled softly, "You're a good kisser. " she said without thinking then blushed wildly covering her mouth with a hand.

"I'm not sure." Mark replied honestly. "Perhaps it's just time for me and Brendon to move on again."

Brendon smiled even wider and chuckled. "Why thank you, I try." he said with a wink

Artemis frowned "you guys are moving?" why did she not like this news? she was use to being alone, what was the big deal if they left her to her usual routine

Grace giggled but kept the hand over her mouth, afraid if she.let go more words would pop out without thought.

Mark shrugged. "i don't know yet. I have to talk to Brendon." he glanced at her hearing the obvious dislike of the idea in her voice.

Brendon's eyes twinkled mischeiviously and then he began to tickle her.

Artemis nodded "well.. thank you. for saving me... again" she sighed

"Yup. Anytime. Although, it would be nicer if you would just give me a call instead of waiting for me to find you." Mark said and forced himself to sit up.

Artemis raised an eyebrow "yes, cause I always have time to call for help when being attacked by malevolent spirits"

Grace giggled, batting at his hands and squirming around. Her eyes sparkling with laughter.

Brendon finally let her up after a moment and went over, grabbing his rag he tried to wipe some of the grease off his face.

Mark smirked. "What? It's not that hard. Did you read the card I gave you?"

Grace stood still giggling lightly. "Can I have one?" She asked gesturing towards his eg.

Artemis raised the other eyebrow "...no?"
