Golgotha: Helheim's Gate

Zoe lost her balance and fell on top of a pile of dusty rags sending up a cloud of dust that made her start sneezing.

Myst: I began getting too fidgety to meditate, so i pulled out my favourite and most precious posessions - a battered old sketchbook and a small bit of burned wood that worked like charcoal. I opened a page, full of small drawings of people and places (small to conserve space), and began a small drawing, sketching absently.

Taylow Taylow, where fore out thou Taylow.

Dalton went over and picked her up. "Are you alright?"

"Im," sneeze. "Fine." Sneeze. She glared at the chairs now laying on there sides, her entire body covered in dust. She kept sneezing.

Dalton brushed her off, doing his best to help her stop sneezing. "Are you sure?"

Zoe nodded as she finally managed to quit sneezing, her eyes watering from all the dust. "I can't believe I fell." She grumbled pushing away from him to walk over and stand the chairs back up.

Dalton watched her, not wanting her to fall again. He set down his hammer and stood below her with his arms streached out to catch her, just incase.

"Walk?" Jack laughs. "We aren't going to just walk anywhere. Tell me girlie, how good are you at jumping?"

Zoe was grumbling under her breath as she grabbed the brush and climbed back up to paint. "I never fall." She said aloud, still annoyed.

Dalton- stands waiting to catch her

Autumn looked at him then looked at the branches. "I could catch that branch up there." She said pointing to one at was perhaps a good ten feet off the ground. "Easily."

Zoe finished the ceiling and gestured at the almost completed room as she climbed down. "What do you think?"

"We'll make something of you yet!" laughs Jack.

Dalton looked around and nodded his aproval. "I think it looks good."

Autumn raised a brow at him as she followed. If he ment that he was going to make her as crazy as he was with those weird clothes, and strange goggles..he had another thing coming. She may have been homeless, stealing bread, but she still had a good sense of fashion and definatly had no plans of being crazy.

Zoe looked it over then nodded, "It's taken a long time but I like it." She proceeded to put the lids on the paints.

"What's your name, girlie? Stanleigh remembers you."
Jack cocks his head on one side.

((I bet Autumn would love to know who Stanleigh is...))

Autumn looked at him and blinked a few times. "Who?" She was terrible with names, especially when it came to the Gaurd. She actually never even bothered knowing their names, so she felt no guilt in not remembering who this guy was, figuring he was part of them. "And my name is Autumn, not girlie."

Dalton nodded and finished putting together the bed. "How's that?"

Zoe looked at it for a moment then leapted forward to hug him. "It's wonderful." She looked around in amazement. "It's a little bare but it's a bed room!!"

Jack laughs. "Stan, Stan, the doctor man, wouldn't fight so away he ran. Couldn't kill, couldn't fight, so he hid inside his mind."
Jack turns around on the spot. "Stanleigh was a family doctor. Stanleigh remembers a girlie who looked just like you. But Stanleigh is dead now. He killed himself one dark night, and on that night Jack was born wearing the same body. Jack wears Stanleigh's body and Jack knows his memories."

(Dr Peppercorn couldn't stand what the Guard were forcing him to do, so he hid inside his own mind and created the personality of Jack to keep his body alive. Does that make sense?))

Autumn stared at him and raised a brow. Ya, this guy was wacked. She sighed and rolled her eyes, but continued to follow. "Oh..you mean Dr. Peppercorn? Ya..he was like an uncle to me. But he disapeared."

Dalton raised a brow at her and chuckled, catching her and giving her the hug she wanted. "It is. It's very nice." He looked around the shabby room. It looekd better than the other rooms in the building.

Zoe stepped back with a blush, a small smile tugging at her lips after the other fell for a second. "Well," She walked around picking up supplies. "It's time to start a new project." She eyed the pile of wood annoyed, it was almost gone and that was the good stuff. She'd stolen it from a local woodsmen. "I'll, I'll be back in a little bit." She told him then headed for the door.

"He disappeared into his own head!" laughs Jack. "And Jack left his head at the same time."

"Don't get into trouble." Dalton said, debating whether or not he should follow her.

Autumn looked at him and frowned. "You are making no sense and quiet frankly are starting to get on my nervs. So either stop speaking in riddles, or change the subject." she growled.

Zoe smirked, "I won't." She called back and headed out of the building. She made her way over to the woodsmen's house and eyed his shed where she'd taken the stuff from before. Then slowly crept into it.
