--Daycare--

T.Mor:

He kept prying. "I don't want to talk about it." I said flatly.
Don't think about it. Don't think about it. Don't think about it...

Mr.Face:

"Oh." Interesting. This all was quite interesting. "Why are you...I'm guessing upset...? I could be wrong, you could just have an inflection problem. I apologise if I am reading too much into your tone." I asked Peter. He'd sounded...Off when he talked about being...whatever a fire type was.

Tommy let Andrew go, but Andrew shook his head. "I already said I'm not going to tell you," he said firmly.

Nike

"Um...I don't really want to talk about it," he answered quietly.

"Are you sure?" I asked. "Sometimes getting it off your chest helps you feel better."

Leslie

"Alright," I said, "you two ghost boys are annoying me. Andrew, I'm giving you an ultimatum: you tell me what's keeping you here, or I wring your neck however long I like without worry because you're already dead. Or I could find some other way to torment you. So, what'll it be?"

Mr.Face:

"I was right then?!" I grinned. That was awesome. I loved when I was right about tone and inflection. They were apparently the harder things to determine without seeing the person's face. "Oh...right...your...problem. Erm. I would not be particularly if you refrained from informing us on the subject of your dismay. I understand that things like that are...not fun to share. Like illnesses." I added, trying not to sound terribly insensitive.

"Liz! There! Are you happy now?!" Andrew shouted at her.

Tommy looked confused, "Who the heck is Liz?"

"O-ok," Evan said quietly. "Um...so what's your favorite color?""

Leslie

"No!" I shouted back. "I am not happy! You've said a name, and nothing else! You might've just said KUMQUATS! This does not answer my question! Why can't you move on?!"

"I can't move on because of her," said Andrew, it felt like something was caught in his throat.

Leslie

"You do not know how to answer a question," I said. "Who is she? Why is she significant? Why is she preventing you from moving on?!"

T.Mor:

"I don't know...gray." I really didn't know. I didn't know you could have a favourite colour.

"Because I love her," said Andrew, looking away. Tommy stared at Andrew in disbelief, he was so...different.

Leslie

"Finally!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air. "Something close to a straight explanation! Now, is she alive or dead?"

"Alive," Andrew said quietly, "and she knows how I feel."

Leslie

I gave him a gobsmacked look before smoothing over my features into one of condescending, "You are a moron" distaste.

"Dude..." I began, "you have problems. If she's alive, then why are you clinging to her? It can never be!"

"Because she's doing the same to me!" said Andrew, some what hysterically.

Tommy looked at Andrew, a shocked expression on his face. "What about the cooties?"

Leslie

"Then you need to slap her or something!" I told him, crossing my arms. "You're both stupid."

"Why would I slap her?!"

Tommy walked over to Andrew. "I need to tell ya something," he whispered. Andrew crouched down so he was at Tommy's level. Once he had, Tommy smacked him across the face. "GET A HOLD OF YERSELF, MATE!!!"

Leslie

"Thank you, Tommy!" I turned to Andrew. "You and she need the reality smacked into you somehow. You two need to have one of those long breakup talks so you can discuss why it won't work and that you need to see other people."

That's what teenagers did, right?

Dorian
Ah... screw this. I am so out of here. This is ridiculous. I turned, pried open the daycare door... and bolted.

"Remember the litte black haired boy from before? He's my compition."

"An eight year old is your competition?" asked Tommy slowly.

"No, the older version of him is."

Girl
I watched Dorian bolt, a slightly amused smile tugging at the corners of my lips. I hope the Hunters find him... then I turned and went out another door, where some other kids were. I took a deep breath of the open air, as I imagined running... running... I bit my lip, walking slowly over to a large metal structure, still lost in thought

Cricket
Here came another kid. Lost in the conversation the others were having, I glanced at her curiously. People seemed nice here so far...odd, yes, but nice. Maybe it was alright. I flashed her a half smile.

Girl
I looked up at a golden eyed boy that smiled at me. Why would he be smiling at me? I wondered. I didn't do anything worth smiling at. Weird. I gave him a tentative little half wave

Cricket
Huh. She waved. People were different, here...I glanced back at Finn, who seemed to be trying to work out what Mr. Face and Peter and company were saying. His expression was that of someone trying to make sense of a strange dream. I shrugged, looked back over at the girl. Well...it beat sitting here. I slipped down from the bars, landing softly, and walked over to her. "Ah, 'i," I said tentatively.

Girl
I took several cautious steps backwards as he approached me, carefully watching his hands. I learned to watch the hands, it lets you know if people are going to hurt you. "H-hi" I stammered out in a tiny voice
