Its okay, I should probably try to sleep then too.....I've been dead today......

I think I'm gonna go be social....gah.....I need to do that. I gave my testimony in small groups, made myself cry, and now feel the need to prove I'm okay.

Brendon had stuffed Grace behind the door in his wall again, giving her clothes as he did so and was pulling on his clothes when searchers came into the room. Luckily he had boxers on as he sliced through them.

They quit coming to the room, the searchers having retreated. Mark looked at her, continually repeating "I'm sorry" as he fell to his knees, his sword dropping from his hand, and falling over, the swords still sticking out from him seeing as how he hadn't had the time to rip them out just yet.

Artemis finally came to her senses and fell at his side "mark!" she tried to pull the swords from him but her transparent hand wouldn't solidify so she could grasp it. she cursed and screamed in frustration "mark!"

Brendon slaughtered all the searchers upstairs before he let Grace out, then came running down, hearing Artemis's shrieks. He ran into the room, his eyes wide as he stared at her. It took him a minute to notice Mark. He frowned and pulled the sword from his chest and the sword from his stomach. As soon as both were removed Mark gasped, grasping for air, coughing as blood spluttered from his mouth. "Twice in one day? Really?" Mark groaned it took him a moment before he could get ahold of himself. He looked at Artemis and his eyes filled with pain as he remembered what had happened. He pursed his lips and forced himself to stand, blood flowing freely from his body, but once again it didn't hinder him.
"No..Mark you can't."
"Shut up, Brendon." Mark growled and stared at Artemis. "Do you love me?"

Artemis's eyes were locked with mark's and she stood up with him, trying hard to keep her eyes from drifting to her empty shell of a body "of course" she breathed

"Enough to wander with me for eternity?" Mark asked, wanting to know. He didn't tell her what he was thinking though. He wanted to know if she'd actually stay, even as a spirit like she said she would. "If not, I will escorte you to the gate...if you'd like..."

"of course I want to stay with you!" Artemis exclaimed, moving in to grab his hand. Her face fell as she went right though. She stared at herself in horror, lifting her hand back up and placing it on his cheek, trying to feel the familiar, sooth surface. She couldn't

Mark watched her carefully. "Will you do something for me?"

Grace was standing in the doorway, shoocked. Finally she walked over to Artemis and hesitantly touched her shoulder confortingly. She knew what this was like, to suddenly find you not yourself.

Artemis felt the touch and jumped. Grace. great, there was no denying it, she was dead "anything" she breathed, trying her hardest to touch him again

"Lay down in your body." Mark said as he walked over to her body, he heart still beating inside it.

Brendon-

Grace stood there, feeling awkward. "It gets better." She said softly, unsure if she really wanted to be heard.

Brendon grabbed Grace by the arm and pulled her back slightly, wrapping his arm around her waist.

Artemis eyed him for a second but complied, crinkling her nose as she slipped right in, struggling hard not to fall out the other side

Mark watched her, his hands glowing as he opened his mind and put his hands to her temples. The bright red light that flowed from him ran over her body, his brow furrowing as he concentrated on find each piece of her soul, and welding it to her body.

Artemis gasped, the feeling odd to say the least "mark" she breathed, in awe of what he was doing. he was making her like him

Grace leaned into him, a frown on her lips. "What's he doing?"

"Fusing her soul back to her body." Brendon said quietly as he watched, keeping his arms around Grace.

Mark didn't say anything, continuing the process, leaving nothing unwelded. He then went back over with a second and third "weld", the mind taking the longest to do. When he was done he let her go, his body still glowing a slight red. He swayed and fell to the ground, passing out.

Artemis inhaled sharply, her body moving with her mind and opening her mouth to take the breath. her body responded. she was alive again?She sat up, marveling over the realization. "mark!" she exclaimed, scrambling over to him. "mark?" she poked him and grinned as her hand met solid resistance, "mark?" she repeated, leaning over to kiss him
