I frown again, steeling the cat away from her. "No." I look up at her, keeping the cat in my lap. "I'm sure he doesn't like being a cat. Why change him back?"

WAIT. IF THE CAT WAS NOT A CAT...Then...I had just displayed compassion towards...something that was not an animal.
Ew.
That just was a little revolting. Like cannibalism. I temporarily forgot my need for an adhesive medical strip and replied "Yes. I think that would be beneficial to the majority of us. Expose the...Whatever it actually will turn out to be. We should punish it for...Deceit."
Although it seemed that there were opposing viewpoints on the matter...This would be interesting.

My thoughts spun with a million problems at once, my eyes shooting to the door, and then to-- Agh! My heartbeat quickened before I realised it was just a drawing. I was caught, frozen in shock, puzzling what to do. That noose pulsed through my thoughts, and the door . . . the door! No, I'd gotten myself into this mess. I would . . . I would face it. I stared up at the angel girl, tense and ready, trying to keep composure.
Then I was snatched away again, and there were more hands on me. I braced myself.

"No." I move back to the corner of the booth seat, glaring at them. "Don't test me either..." Moving my sketchbook closer to me as well, sheltering the cat in his fear."

I stared up at the sketched noose, in one of those moments that it's impossible to look away, no matter how much you want to. It wasn't real, it was just ink . . . I was trapped in a place that was practically a villian's lair, surrounded by people who were contemplating what to do with me. That was real. So why was I scared of a drawing? I was probably safer here. Sheltered from villians by a villian. But every inch of me was itching to get away from the girl's clutches.
In a burst, I darted out of her grasp.

I pointed at the door, shouting an incantation. There was a zap of crackling purple energy, and the door slammed shut. This kitty wasn't getting out, not when he had such interesting secrets to hide! I fully intended to uncover those secrets, no matter what the mortal with the sketchpad said.
Because, really, what mortal could boss me around?

I glare at her, seemingly unphased. "Well. If you were an animal, you'd /want/ to be turned back. Keeping him in this form is the worst form of torture for him, isn't it? Can't give him a hope of turning back. That'd be too nice."

The door slammed in my face, and I watched my last escape vanish right in front of me. Well. Oi my my. There was no way out, nothing I could do, except . . . face whatever they might do. I turned around, tail twitching in the air as I listened for them to decide. This might hurt, aye?

"But he's decieved us. It would be downright wrong to allow him to escape the resultant punishment for that." I stated. And I'd even had the foresight to bring along my exacto knives.
How fun.

"Correction. He deceived you. That girly there said he was human before you were petting him." I smile smugly. "The angel said so too."

"Well, see," I said to the troublesome, sketchpad-toting mortal, "we could probably do waaaaay worse things to him if we actually knew who he was. And honestly, being an animal really isn't any form of torture. An annoyance, but far from torture. Where did that flawed logic even come from? Besides, what would the point of torturing him be? I'm not a sadist, and it just seems like a big waste of energy and time. All I want to do is see who he is!"
"I didn'd say he was human," the cloak figure corrected. "I said his soul was a human!"
"And for the record," I started, "I never said he was human, either. I just said he was wearing something like a biological glamour. There could be anything under there!"

"That means human to me." I glance over at Harley before smirking. "And I'd be funnier to sick hyenas on him when he's a cat than as a human." I rest my head on my head, picking up my pencil again. "Want to figure out who he is? I can draw his subconscious fear. I'm sure his identity being revealed is a fear by now."

Ok. SO even though I know he isn't actually an animal, something about that suggestion turned my stomach. "We are not going to allow him to be attacked by hyenas unless he's human again. It's against my minimal code of ethics." I stated. "However, I would not object to you finding out who he is with...whatever magical power you seem to posess."

Already drawing, somehow getting down the fears around me on paper. A kid takes shape, relatively short, long dark hair, dark eyes, torn clothes. "Familiar?" I ask, describing him out to the one without a face.

"Vaguely," I told the obnoxious mortal. "Okay, I'm doing this. I don't care what you say."
I reached in my pockets for my ghetto spellbook, a collection of spells scrawled out on scraps of white-lined paper. I leafed through the tiny etchings (Gotta save space!) until I located one that removes glamours. I cast my hand towards the kitten, speaking the incantation; a purple light surrounded him. I always set parameters to make my spell energy purple...because I like purple.

I felt a snap, and I was suddenly incapable of standing on four legs. I caught myself with a thud, staring down at my . . . hands. Oh bother. This was . . . going to be a long day. My hearbeat was still pounding, but finally, I forced myself to stand-- oof, and fell to a knee again. It was odd, having only two legs. So, I stayed like that for a moment, hair in my eyes. "Don't pet me again. Ever."

It was My Prisoner, Well, I had sort of hypothesised that based on what the girl with the book that she drew on described. It was nice to have a vocal confirmation though. "I do not think that you are in a situation to be deploying commands like that." I told him calmly.

"A'right, then would you like t' defy my orders and pet me, then? I thought not," I said, giving him a look through my hair. Ah, my hair . . . I'd missed it. I liked it on my head, rather than spread out all over my body. Oh, sweet darkness.

Re: The Nefarious Coffee Pot
SOMEWHERE NEARYBY IN THE MYRIAD OF HALLWAYS. SERIOUSLY. THIS PLACE IS SO FRICKIN' HUGE, THERE SHOULD BE LAWS AGAINST IT.
Black paws padded slowly through the lengthy and every-changing halls of the mansion. They didn't seem to be carrying the shaggy, fuzzy dog anywhere in particular; they paced without direction or purpose. The dog lifted its head a little, sniffing the air before returning its gaze to the floor. It walked along slowly, as though it lacked the energy to do much of anything in particular. Or maybe it just didn't care.
Aria
Some ways away, I felt another energy. This energy was similar to the one that had previously surrounded the black-haired mortal whose name I'd forgotten, though it was a little too far away presently to accurately distinguish. I figured it was worth looking into, so I concentrated a little harder.

Well. That...That was a valid point. I don't actually like humans. And, outside of torturing them...I don't like inciting physical contact with them.
However maybe just this once..
No.
But, Technically it would be an improvised form of torture.
But still. Touching people without causing bleeding in some way.
With what I assumed was a ridiculous grin on my face, I went ahead and petted him. "As I stated. You are in no situation to be ordering me around." I replied, as I wiped off my hand on my suitjacket condescendingly.

I just stayed there frozen, holding back an expression of someone being kissed by some hideous reletive. ...Igh.
Igh!
"I, ah . . . 'adn't been expecting that. Ah . . . point taken," I said, or rather, gagged.

SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE
The black dog continued along its unplanned path. It reached a new area, picking up a mixture of scents, some old, some new. Almost none of them good. One rather new scent mingled in with the others set the black dog worrying. It pressed itself to the wall, trying to peek through the glass door without being seen.
It didn't like what it saw.
Aria
"So..." I started, "what do we do with him?"
I guessed that the faceless mortal had already decided that we were taking him prisoner. Whatever. Didn't matter to me.
And there was that other energy! It was much closer now...perhaps even right outside! This was exciting...
"I think kitty-boy here has a friend," I said, grinning. "I sense a similar presence out there! Shall we bring him in?" I wasn't actually sure if this one was a boy or a girl, but I didn't care.

I just kept my eyes covered. "Pardon for underestimating your ability t' pet people. That's a real evil trait, you've got there." Wait. Friend? My eyes flitted to the door. Oh bother. Tell me that black spot was just my imagination.

Mr.Face:
His sarcasm. Kind of made me want to chuckle. How come he had never been this witty when I had him shackled to a wall? I felt shorted of witty banter. "How come you were never this articulate those times I had you shackled to a wall? It would have been a laugh riot on cellblock five." And with that I turned my attention to the other matter at hand. Whoever was also posing as an animal outside the door.
"Of course bring it in here." I told the girl. And in regards to her other question, "And as for what we will do with My Prisoner...I'm sure I can find something suitable in the kitchen...They have lots of sharp appliances in there...if I do recall..." I allowed my mouth to curl into an evil grin.
