"True but hey I feel better then I have." SHe laughed. Megan did feel better and she didnt feel weak. She felt like she was having a major hangover but it was from the fire and the lack of oxygen.

"Well it's better that you're feeling better, but I still don't want you to overtire yourself or anything." James stayed quiet for a moment, just watching her. Even though she seemed fine now, his mind kept going back to how he could have lost her. It made his heart ache slightly, but he tried to push it out of his mind and focus on the here and now.

Megan smiled and said "Can we go somewhere? I have always hated hospitals." She said her nose crinckling. She blinked her sinny blue and gray eyes. She found a fresh pair of black skinny jeans and a plain purple v-neck shirt. Megan sighed with relif and said "Could you leave for a moment so I can change?"

James nodded. "'Course we could go somewhere. I don't think anyone likes hospitals..." He stood, already knowing he would have to leave so she could get dressed. He looked over his shoulder for a minute. "Yeah... unless of course you want me to stay..."

Megan rolled her eyes and said "Leave!" Once he was gone she quickly changed and looked in the mirror. Her hair and make up looked like she let 5 years old use her as a poor Barbie doll. She sighed and ran her fingures through her black hair but nothing helped. She walked out and smiled. "Ready!"

James chuckled as he walked out the room, a grin on his face. He leaned against the wall next to the door of the room. He looked at her when she came out and his grin widened. "Okay. Where is it you would like to go?"

Megan shrugged. "Anywhere.. but we are going to have to run out of here... before the nurses notice im gone." SHe smiled and laughed. A nurse started comming towards them yelling.

James grinned widely and nodded. "Alright." When he hear the nurse he turned slightly and stared, amusement bright in his eyes. He looked toward Megan and grabbed her hand, intertwining their fingers. He then started to run, pulling her along.

Megan laughed and said "Use the stairs!!!" The nurse came down behind them but Megan and James were faster. Once they hit the stairwell the door had locked behind them and the nurse couldnt get in.

((XD yes and poor James likes her.. that should make for some interesting drama x3))

James couldn't help but chuckle. They practically flew down the stairs. "Success," he cheered once they were outside and beside his car. He leaned against the side of the car, grinning like a maniac and started laughing.

Megan smiled and got into the car. "NOW PUT THE PETAL TO THE METAL!!!" SHe yelled with a smile. She loved this burst of energy that came from this. The speed made her adrenline kick into high gear.

James chuckled and climbed into the car. He started the engine and drove away. After driving for a while the car just stopped. He blinked and stared for a couple of minutes. He then noticed that the car ran out of gas. "Shit..."

Megan laughed so hard that she had to get out of the car. Tears streamed down her face and she laughed. "Oh....my...gosh!!" SHe breathed. She couldnt believe that that had happened.

James hit his head lightly on the steering wheel, his cheeks a bright scarlet. He had been so stupid for not thinking to fill the gas tank up. He lightly hit his head on the steering wheel a few more times while muttering. "Stupid, stupid, stupid." he finally stopped and noticed Megan outside of the car and climbed out himself. "Uh... We're going to have to walk," he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

Megan laughed even harder but stood. She took his hand and they started walking. "I guess this is fine." She said once she could catch her breath. "I wasnt laughing at you by the way."

James cheeks kept a pink color to them and he looked down. After a moment he looked back up. "I'll believe that you weren't laughing at me when pigs fly... And not on an airplane, but rather when they sprout wings and fly."

Megan laughed softly and said "I could never laugh at you. I just thought it was ironic." She laughed and kissed his cheek. "Why do you think that though?"

Some of the pink faded from James' cheeks as he started leading her down the road. He smiled slightly and looked at her. "Good to know you would never laugh at me." He shrugged in partial answer to her question. "I guess because I've been laughed at before..."

"By who?" Megan asked raising a eyeborw. People laugh at her all the time... but she usally didnt care. She always thought that what people say is not really important. She didnt like to hear the negative.

James shrugged and looked straight ahead. he didn't exactly want to talk about the subject matter of people laughing at him, especially when his own family had laughed at him in the past. He finally shrugged and glanced at her. "You know with all this irony of our situation, I really, really hope it doesn't start to rain... And I probably just jinxed us."

Megan laughed and shrugged. "I ope it rains... I love the rain." She said with a smile. Her head was hurting but it was easy to ignore. She looked up into the sky and sent a prayer to whoever would listen that she didnt make this boy run.

James smiled and looked at her, watching her. He couldn't help but wonder if he was starting to possibly fall for her. He enjoyed being around her and he loved talking to her. He found her to be like a friend to him, but he felt more than just that. He also felt as though there was some kind of a connection. "Yeah, the rain is kind of nice," he murmured.

MEgan smiled sweetly and held his hand. Her hands were feezing because of the cold wind. She shuddered and wished that she had grabbed a jacket. But she loved this weather more then ever.

James held her hand contentedly until he saw her shudder. A small frown formed on his lips and he dropped her hand. He then proceeded to wrap his arms around her shoulders, hoping to warm her up some. "You looked cold," he said so he had a reason for having his arms around her.
