Serena: I'm not omniscient. I do have a theory, though. I think this forest is like a testing ground. They'll send in people like me to see if they can destroy people like you.

I ouldnt tell if it was my head or her head or someone else, but it was annoying! I quickly shut myself off from her.

Serena: Run. Was the last word I sent before quickly squeezing my eyes shut, and washing away memories of him. I replaced them with memories of my capture, and put myself in the light of not being afraid. I could warp my memories, if I wished, which drove the scientists crazy. They didn't know what was real and what was my imagination.

Johnny: I sprinted out of the place on instinct and scrambled up a tree. I shouldn't talk to her now... I hoped she'd tell me when I could go back. I wasn't a tree-person.

Serena: I felt them fingering through my thoughts, searching to find any clue of my talking to other people, or hopefully killing them. Well, they were hoping I'd killed someone, I mean. I continued to send a steady stream of warped memories their way. Finally the buzzing stopped, leaving me feeling drained. I sighed, opened my eyes, and slid to the base of the tree I had been leaning against. I spotted Johnny in the branches of another nearby tree. It's safe now, they're we're just checking up.

Johnny: I didn't reply, I just slid down the trunk and went to sit next to her. "They didn't find anything?" I asked, glad that my voice was steady, quiet, almost a whisper.

((Whoa, I just read my post and realized there were all these random grammar/spelling errors. 'Tis fixed now.))

Serena: I shook my head slightly. They couldn't, I filled their monitors with warped memories. Memories of mine that are twisted so that they think I wasn't afraid if I was in the memory, or that I had courage, if courage was, in reality, absent. Warped memories drive them crazy.

Johnny: Youre a human photoshopper, aren't you? I laughed and looked around, trying to find some monitoring system.

Serena: Everyone can do it if they set their mind to it. You just need a lot of self control. And there is no other monitoring system besides me, when they flick the switch that lets them through. They'll make rounds occasionally, using trained spies.

Anastasia - I wondered back into Serena and Johny. "Oh, sorry to interrupt," I mumbled knowing they wouldn't want to talk to me.
