sterling:" okay shannon so our huge montser fight had to be cancel so what now "

Shannon: "We could still burn a building..." I joked. "Hm...wanna go get another drink or two?"

sterling:" sure shannon lets go " i said before i got up and turn off radio

Shannon: After both of us were ready to leave, I led the way to the bar that we were at earlier.

sterling: once there i order a stronger drink then what i had earlier

Shannon: I glanced at him, a little concerned before ordering myself a strong drink. Probably not as strong as Sterling's though.

sterling:" what are you thinking shannon?"

Shannon: I shrugged, "I'm thinking about a lot of things."

sterling:" want to talk about them with me shannon?"

Shannon: "Well, I'm still thinking about what Kyle might do...about Rose and the kids...about everything that happened tonight."

sterling:" rose and the other are strong group so they will make it in life and kyle well i'm still here to protect you shannon"

Shannon: "That's what I'm wondering about...why you'd want to-...nevermind, you said why before if I remember correctly."

sterling:" you did question me that already"

Shannon: "I know, it just seems so...odd though..." I dismissed the thoughr with a wave of my hand, and took a drink.

sterling:" what seems odd shannon?"

Shannon: "That you want to help me, protect me but you don't know much about me."

sterling:" it is odd but i'm alway be odd "

Shannon: I smiled and took another drink, "I guess that would explain it." I half-joked.

Sterling:I finish off my drink " yup but I did it would explain the whole world" I half joked

Shannon: I smiled and was about to reply when my cell phone went off. I flashed Sterling an apologetic look before answering the call. A man's voice, which I immediately recognized as Kyle's, spoke, "You're not making yourself very hidden like before...you're making it seem like you do want to come to me."
I blinked in astonishment, "How did you get my number?" I asked in a hushed voice.
"I have ways, and you will come back to me sooner or later. Preferably sooner, unless you want your friends hurt." Before I could reply, he said mockingly, "See you soon, dear." I then shut my phone, stuffed it back into my jacket pocket, and took more or less a swallow of my drink.

Sterling:" if don't me asking but who was calling you?"

Shannon: "Kyle." I muttered, knowing if I lied, it wouldn't have been convincing because of the state I was in.

Sterling:" are you okay?"

Shannon: "Honestly, no. Not at all." I could feel myself begin to shake as I took another drink.

Sterling:after she took a drink I pull her into a hug " your shaking Shannon"
