Re: Next Generation Avengers (marvel)
Splitshot
A lockdown... seemed to be a common method of dealing. Not too extravagant, but neither was the crime.
"Police, eh?" I muttered, keeping my eyes locked on the scene. "Think it would really stir them up if I managed a shot from here?"
I considered it, then shook my head. I couldn't guarantee one from this far, just yet. I doubted I wouldn't get it, but there was that little chance I'd fail. Best not to risk it.
"Never mind, it seems I've got the rest of the week off, it'd be silly to spend it wasting around at a school, playing with the police."

I glance back at Amina before focusing on Zell again, just giving a little smile. "Guess you can think that way... But Amina is right. If you want my respect - our respect...just show it back. Please." This wasn't a place I came to experience the 'usual'. This was supposed to be the place away from that. "We know how to handle ourselves, and you should trust that. So..." ...Yeah.
Quincy
"C'mon, Sammy, can we go do something exciting like the good ol' days?" I ask him, lightly hitting his shoulder before standing from the ledge to walk off back to the broken light.

"Ugh, anything but Sammy," I said with a grin, pulling myself up to follow her. "You know I can't resist it when you ask like that."
I jest, of course. In all honesty I would otherwise have spent my day doing basically nothing after the police had left the school.
"What do you have in mind?"

I smirk, sticking my tongue out at him over my shoulder. My hands on my hips as he says that, I pause to give a little tail shake. "Eh. Can come up with something... Meet downstairs, eh?" I was much too lazy for the stairs... I reach back up to the busted light socket, buzzing back into electricity for a quick trip down.

I chuckled, still in too good of a mood to really care. Two kills in a school day, with the day not near over yet? Enough to make me able to put up with a lot.
Pulling open the door to the roof, I took the stairs down. I didn't care to search for an elevator earlier, and I really didn't care to now. Took much less time to simply run the distance.
"Let's go," I said when I spotted her.

Zell shook her head and continued to walk off. "I'm going to go train. unless you guys wish to risk getting hit by one of my newer arrows, I suggest you don't follow me." She didnt really want to go train again, siting someplace peaceful and reading would have been nice, but she didnt know what else to do to have them just leave her alone.

I walk ahead of him, pushing the metal door open to step out at the back of the building opposite the school. "Some stealing or more recruitment to our little brigade? Corrupt the young'ins?" I laugh, glancing back at him.

I laughed, raising a brow as I followed her out.
"Tell me, would you really like having more people around?" I asked, grinning. "After all, I can't imagine you to be the people sort. If you're sure, that could be the interesting choice."
I paused, considering for a moment.
"I wouldn't want anyone annoying, though. I'd have to dis poise of them."

"Oh, Sammy... You thought that of me once, I remember~ Only you couldn't do anything about it back then," I tease, walking along the sidewalk. "Fine, no annoying babies. So stealing?" My eyebrow raises back at him curiously.

"Stealing sounds like a nice plan," I agreed, thinking for a moment. "We could go with something simple, like a house, or something more fun." I paused, attempting to recall something my teacher had said earlier before I'd be kicked out of class. "Isn't there a new art exhibit in one of the new museums? Something that was worth a lot? Think we could pull that off?"
I didn't doubt that we could, but then again, a second opinion could be best. Wouldn't want Bullseye to come home to me being in jail. Then he'd really kick my ass.

"Why the hell not?" I ask him, smirking. "They're free! We can stake them out now and plan something for tonight." There's a nice skip to my step now as I walk beside him. Stealing was a nice passion of mine, since I could get into places so easily. Getting out with loot these days was a bit more complicated, since I couldn't bring anything with me as energy. Even clothes, which was alright since so long as I was charged I could ionize the air around me to make my own stuff. Couldn't beat custom tailored anyway!

"Sounds like a plan," I say, grinning.
This day was turning out much better than when it had started. Can't say I preferred a day of school to plans of stealing some priceless painting. Because the painting pulled out way ahead.
"Lead the way to our prize."
No way was I admitting that while I had paid enough attention to know there was a new exhibit, I'd been more interested in the note passing happening around me than in where the exhibit actually was. Better to just fake a sense of ladies first.

Hmm, what grand museum in all of New York to steal from... Natural History, or MOMA, or Modern Art, or ... too many options! But what could one do with a piece of art other than sell it? History had all sorts of goodies that could be used. Suits of armor and old swords, or lovely jewelry from around the world... Arrange all the taxidermy exotic animals in ridiculous ways for the hell of it. And it was close enough too.
I lead off to the big staired front of the building, Roosevelt statue there on his horse in the front. "Come on, come on..." I smirk, going inside and look up at the big ass dinosaur skeleton in the entryway.

I climbed up the stairs, looking around with a bit of curiosity. I'd been in the place a few times before, but things seem to change a lot around the museum.
"I'm coming," I grumbled, following her.
The great mood from the mornings events was beginning to fade, followed by a bit of excitement for the coming heist. Things were always so boring when Bullseye was out of town, this little trip had a lot of promise.
My eyes began sweeping the area, carefully taking note of where security guards stood and how many of them there were, while not being that noticeable.
"That guys pretty big boned," I said, half-heartedly gesturing towards the dinosaur. "Think he got a lot of attention from dino-chics?"

"Jealous, dork?" I fire at him, rolling my eyes as I proceed past the little check in to get the little museum pin. There were the 'prices', underneath the little 'suggested donation' printed because they were tricky cons even at such prestigious places. Five floors of random world history crap and there was definitely something special for me to take later on tonight...

"Nah, girls get annoying," I said, following her.
It took a moment but I managed to pull enough change out of my pocket to get the little pin. Stupid museums... you'd think they'd be free so the public could get educated or whatever.
"I could do without the chics."

"And yet, I'm the only person you hang with other than that crazy man you idolize," I reply, walking through the taxidermied things to the stairs, complete with a map of what's what in this giant place. "Medieval stuff, or maybe Greek Antiquity... Vikings?" But I was only speaking to organize my own thoughts; I didn't actually care about his opinion... I head off for the stairs to check out Viking things.

"Well, that's a matter of convenience," I said, keeping up so I can peek at the map. "Simply put, it's boring to do things like this on my own and you're one of the few people I don't feel like killing right after they open their mouths."
Vikings, why Vikings? Nothing fun there.
"Why not Greek?" I grumble.

Name Josie (Joe-See)
Age: unknown.
Apprentice to: relative to mystique.
OC or FC: FC
Appearance: she has the same blue skin with scale patterns and yellow eyes and red hair. But rarely shows herself in that from. She flips between two different ages most of the time, no one is really sure how old she actually is. how she feels is what decides how old she looks. She has a 6 or 7 year old form, where she has long blond curly hair and big green eyes and rosy cheeks. She looks innocent in this form. she also has an older form which looks 17-21ish. It's one of those faces here it's hard to tell. She has shorter blonde hair and green eyes, freckles along her cheeks. She has a more seductive air to her.
Powers/extra weapons: a shape shifter. Can change her physical appearance to look like or sound like anyone. Is flexible and nimble in her natural form.

"We can go there after, this is closer." Ha... we'll see. Down the stairs, trying to get through the groups of crazy tourist families and school field trips. Ugh, it was horrible to walk places... I was itching to take to the electric grid but I was supposed to be fair. Couldn't steal anything without him and everything, which was frustrating.
The entrance way is all fake stone work, some poorly carved dragon above the doorway. In specific exhibits, it wasn't as crowded, so it was alright when you got to the little hidden places. I looked over all the rusty things, some fancy goblets here and there, replica boat in the middle of the big room. And then the pretty jewelry and carved gems the savage people got to in their free time. Mostly religious things, it seemed, but who cared...

Josie skipped around the Viking exhibit, a large red balloon tied to her wrist and her hair pulled back into cute pig tails. She was in a childish mood today, but was bored without anyone to play with.

My annoyance began to fade as we entered the room. Instead I began examining our surroundings, mostly taking in the different jewelry and gems. They'd be the easiest things to find a market for, I'm pretty sure. I don't have the connections that Bullseye does, although perhaps Quincy has a few. I suppose of she does then the other items can come of use as well.
Although, despite my previous words, I can imagine picking up a girl and gifting her with one of the necklaces. I can almost imagine how the girl's face might look...

In one case, there's something particularly shiny to catch my eye. It's actually pretty good condition for something stone age. And not stone for something 'stone age'. It was a circular mirror thing set in a profile of a horse about the size of a basketball, with a bunch of crazy Celtic knots around it and miscellaneous ruins. "How's about this thingy?"
The little plaque said it was some sort of future glimpser for religious people. The horse was some god of Time who could travel whenever in the timestream he wanted, and looking through his eye might give a reflection of what that was. ...I never was a religious person though.

I tore my eyes away from a particularly nice piece of jewelry to look at what she was pointing out. Frowning I looked it over before shrugging, coming over closer.
"It's not much," I said.

Josie saw the other people looking sound the exhibit. She skipped over to them and tilted her head.
"Hi there! Long time no see," she giggled to them and tilted her head. "what are you guys doing here?"
