"Then exploring it is," I chirped, opening the door up. "Lead the way?"
Surely if I got caught exploring with her it'd be less trouble then just being caught on my own. Right?

"Sure..." I start down the hallway. "...so you're not a part of the league yet either?" She didn't have a guide, and she was simply exploring like I had been. So she didn't know her way around here. Didn't exactly take a detective to figure out she wasn't familiar with the place, which most likely put her in my predicament.

"Nah, I'm just here with.... a friend." I said, following her.
That was true enough, J'onn was a friend. What else do you call the man... well, martian I guess, who kinda saved you. Shaking my head a little I pushed that away though, gawking at almost everything we passed. This place was better than I'd imagined, perhaps that's because it was real and not just my imagination.
"He's off doing business."

Because that totally seemed like reason enough entrance to the 'top secret' Watchtower...? ...Not like I was honorary member, so I didn't much care. And if she was trespassing, the League would be all over it I would guess.
"Must be some friend," I comment as we come to double doors. They open automatically to a different platform, overlooking some sort of eco-dome - but like everything else on this thing it was super sized. The platform continued like a hallway left and right, doors to either side.

"Yeah... he's... something." I said, smiling a little.
Looking around I walked to one of the doors, curiously attempting to open it to see what was on the other side.
"J'onn probably won't be that happy when he figures out I'm not where he left me..." I mused, glancing at her over my shoulder. "I suppose I'll only be exploring with you till he figures that out."
((Sorry, I couldn't quite figure out what to do so I did that.))

So I had no idea who J'onn was. Sounded foreign though. "I'm sure in this place, he already knows..." If he brought you here illegally or whatever... Not my problem though! I wasn't Justice League. Yet. Or never. Whichever.
I pick going left, through the automatic door towards the center of the building-space station to a large cafeteria looking room. Unlike the other places we had wandered, besides that entrance hall, here was very populated. I spot a few people I did know. The Flash from Central, both Green Lanturns, Wonder Woman, the Thanagarians Hawkman and Hawkgirl... Here just seemed to be the hang out place, didn't it? "Your friend here?"

"Good point," I said, abandoning my door to follow her.
I peeked past her at the question, scanning the area with wide eyes. I certainly recognized a lot of them from media coverage, not really knowing any of them. J'onn seemed to want to keep me away from the actual people, something about not being ready to get involved in all of it.
"No, I don't see him." I said, relaxing a little. "He's probably doing something important or whatnot, he's pretty important here so yeah."
Wow, okay, I was starting to sound like an airhead. That's just... wonderful. Oh well, sounding like one and being one were two different things. I suppose if she figured I was one that I definately wouldn't come off as any kind of threat or whatever so I wouldn't get kicked again. So... air headed sounding is ... a good thing?

"Who is he? Batman or something?" Although he so did not seem like the foreign type. Definitely a Gotham native. The people who came out of that place were...special. Speaking of the man, I'd yet to find him again. I had to hit him for kidnapping me.

I shook my head, continuing to scan all of the Justice League members in the room with my eyes, excited over the fact I was even standing here.
"No," I began, then grinned a bit. "Haven't actually met Batman yet. That would be so...cool." I paused for a moment to think that over then remembered her original question. "Oh, and he's the Martian Manhunter."

"Bats isn't much of the conversationalist..." I mutter, then pause. "The green guy, Martain Manhunter? How's you manage that friendship?" Food seemed free. Nice to know I wouldn't starve being stuck here.

I hesitated then, knowing that perhaps his idenity on earth wasn't something that I should share. J'onn and I had met when he was working as a detective near Cameron Street. Needless to say I hadn't been able to stay hidden from him when he was trying to figure out how all the thefts happened and no one had been seen leaving the scene even once.
But I coudln't exactly explain that without expaining J'onn's idenity as a human detective.
"We met awhile back when... I was down on luck. He's kind of helped me up."

"Hm." I walk through slowly, taking it all in. Zatarra too. Hard to miss the classically dressed magician. He leaves through some other door, so I follow for just a direction to go. Might win us a tour guide, after the possible initial reaction like mine. I was always curious about magic...

I didn't really see any choice besides to follow her. After all, it had to be better to be caught wondering with her than to be wondering on my own. If all else failed I could blame the wondering on her... although I was pretty sure J'onn wouldn't believe that.
"What are you thinking?" I questioned, also sure there had to be a reason she was walking in where all the League members were.

"Getting back to more important places. Who else would travel there but honorary members?" See? Detective work's not so hard. Although he only took us to a room of elevators. "...Up or down?" Jeez, this pannel had like...fifty floors...

I considered it for a moment then shrugged.
"Up? Might as well... one way doesn't look better than the other." I paused. "And that was good idea."

Re: The Justice League

Up we go. Might as well go to the top and see the views. I press one as the doors close, the elevator going into action the next second. No idea what floor we were originally on, but the ride seemed too short. In no time, the doors open, and we come to a sort of control room. Lots of screens and computers, big glass dome... This place was crazy...

For a moment I looked around the room as I had any other room, in amazment. This place was amazing for sure, the dome probably could have held my attention for a long time, that is until I saw J'onn.
"Crap," I muttered, attempting to duck behind Black Canary.
I mean, I knew that probably wouldn't do any good, but it was worth shot, right?
"Black Canary. Gyspy." I heard J'onn say in greeting.
Just wonderful. I can't believe of all the rooms in this whole place, we had to end up in the room he was in.

I glance back at Gypsy for a moment before looking up at the only person present in the room. Not hard to recognize him, with the whole 'reformation of the Justice League' announcement on television he had been present at.
"J'onn?" I question, "or would you prefer Martian Manhunter? Nice to meet you."

Re: The Justice League

"Martian Manhunter would be preferred." I hear him say, still doing my best to hide behidn her. "J'onn is not a name I would normally use among most League members, or soon to be ones. I can only assume you heard it from ... Gypsy."
Crap. Crap. Crap.
Okay, that's enough crapp-ing? is that even a word? Oh, wait, I suppose it is. I mean, you can like... do that... so...
Wait. Focusing. Right. He knew I was here so... crap.
"Um, right." I muttered, stepping back out, but not looking up at him. "So... you already know who she is.. so no introductions needed."
Okay. So... either I could wait and let a topic come up that would most likely be how I didn't listen to him or... I could try and change it. I liked the second idea much better. Quickly moving to have a better view of the glass dome wall things I did my best not to look up at J'onn.
"Quite a view, eh? Pretty awesome..."

"Possibly joining. There isn't any guarentee of 'soon to be' ..." I say to him, walking away from Gypsy. Big girl can defend herself, no reason to hide behind me. Accept and learn any consequences of your actions. My eyes do wander around as I walk though, taking in the stars, the view of Earth, the muted sun... "Not much of a welcoming party around here, unless you really want to count Batman... If that's it, you really need to reassigned jobs around here..."

I focused most of my attention on the scenery beyond the dome, only partly paying attention. I already knew what he was going to say so I didn't really see the sense in listening to it. Probably something along the lines of that one time I managed to sneak into the car when he was on 'police business', I'd been pretty sure he was on League business instead but for once, I'd been wrong. Let's just say he wasn't happy when he found me.
"I am sorry for wording that incorrectly." J'onn said in that same monotone he always seemed to have. "And no, I don't count him as a welcoming party. As you have said, you aren't a member just yet. I am assuming he was allowing you to explore on your own."
Okay, he hadn't said anything yet... maybe he'd wait till later, when we were alone. That would be nice...

"Is there a suggestion box to recommend some other way of introducing possible new members...?" I whisper under my breath, glancing back at him. And then back at Gypsy. The awkward was fun... Just gonna not acknowledge it like the big elephant in the room that it was...?

Re: The Justice League
Name: Selina Kyle
Supername: Catwoman
Powers/Skills: She has been taught stealth, athletics, hot-wiring, lock-picking, thieving, acrobatics and the martial arts. She was trained by the Armless Master in martial arts and by Wildcat in boxing and street-fighting. She excels at low- and high-tech heists and is the best cat-burglar in Gotham. Catwoman has a good affinity for cats. They often help automatically if she needs it and instantly know that she is a friend. Additionally, Selina was an effective seductress, a talent she employed to remove herself from treacherous situations.
Appearance:
Personality: Get back to me on that
Diamonds or gold? I can't decide which I like better. After all, it is said that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but I'm not normally the kind to go with the crowd.
Although, at this moment, I don't have to choose. The people who own this particular house are out for the weekend, giving me all the time in the world to take all of the precious items, not just the ones I like. And so I do.
Smiling to myself I pull one golden chain from the woman's jewelry box, then another, dropping them both into my cloth bag. Glancing at the digital clock set out on the bed side table, I make sure to take note of the time as well. Even if they wouldn't be home for awhile it wouldn't do to be caught climbing out of the window by a curious neighbor. I had about an hour longer. More than enough time.
Finishing up the box I do one more sweep of the room, making a mental note to come here again. These people definitely weren't poor. Satisfied that I have all I can get this time around I tie the bag shut and walk over to the window, slipping up onto the ledge. I then grasp the drainpipe running down the wall to my right, already knowing that it was strong enough to hold most of my weight, and swing my body over so I can grab the shutter of the next window. It was simple work to pull myself onto that ledge, balancing my weight just so, and then to drop down to the fire escape from there.
Seemed I'd be getting a clean break from this job.

I stand back, beneath the stairs of the fire escape to be hidden within the shadows as she drops down. The legendary cat thief has been able to thus far escape before I got to the scene, however this time... She drops down onto the fire escape in front of me, and I reach out to grab the wrist holding her steal. "The cat continues to not know when to stop getting curious," I comment, studying her. 5'7'', one hundred thirty pounds, green eyes, hair color indistinguishable beneath her cowl, cat persona, and bull whip. Exactly as the reports described her as.

I couldn't help but jump when he grabbed my wrist, immediately working to conceal my shock at his being here. I hadn't seen him, although perhaps I was getting too comfortable with my work for my own good. I hadn't seen him because I hadn't been looking, which could spell out horribly for my situation.
"I haven't yet seen a reason too stop," I replied, jerking my hand back towards myself.
I wasn't as much focused on him as I was to the area around us. There had to be a way out of this, and I wouldn't rest until I found it. Of course I was alert for any sudden movements of his, but more so focused on the ground beneath us. How far away could it be? Ten, fifteen feet? Perhaps too much to manage without a sprained ankle. The surprise might be enough for me though, if I jumped. Limping or not...
Of course, this was Batman it seemed. His reputation proceeded him. Perhaps I should be more careful before making a move, watch what he did instead. Perchance an option would show up that was better than the only one before me.
"What are you going to do now?" I questioned, putting a pouting look on. "You have my wrist like a child, surely you won't punish me like one? I'm a big girl, promise."
