Kim couldn't help but chuckle a bit again.
"I have to say, Ami's beats yours in length and interest level," Jess said, picking at her waffle. "Police just don't seem that deadly once you've lived a week in our lives."

Cricket: he smiled. "Nothing t' brag about. I bet your life is plenty hard. Good luck with that." He glared at Finn: "And honestly, it was an accident!"

"That's what they always say," Marnie said with a smile. "You could say Mike and i had some odd beginnings..."
He rolled his eyes. "Oh, don't remind me..."

Cricket: he smirked. "You have no idea. Trust me."

Benny: I woke up from a doze. "Hmm??"

Marnie frowned and snapped at him, making the sound louder than usual. "Do you need an alarm clock, dear?"

Benny: "Please, no..." I begged, thinking of the sound it would make. "I'll drive you guys outta town if ya want..."

"Well, we don't really need rides but it'd be nice," Jess said. She frowned. "Your palm loves talking its plant-y head off in the morning, you know that?" She glared at the small plant by the window.
