Late night wandering

Rose: I looked up the street, trying to figure out where I was. I was more familiar with Times Square, and I couldn't remember how I got here in the first place from my wall. I sighed and kept walking.

Sean: I kicked at a crumpled up mcdonalds bag. I don't even know why I was following this girl. Guess I just want to make sure she doesn't get hurt...

Rose: Was there... someone following me? It sure felt like it. If you've never been followed, you'll know what it feels like when you are. I picked up the pace of my step, making it into a fast walk. Don't look over your shoulder, Rose. He'll know you're onto him. I really hoped that the crushed balls guy didn't pick himself back up and tailed me.

Sean: Damn it, she was walking faster now. I probably scared her. I walked faster, trying to catch up with her. There were quite a few people on the street now, and it was hard to run.

Rose: I turned a corner quickly, hoping to lose him. Shit, it was another dead end. How the hell did I manage to get myself into these situations? I turned toward the entrance of the alley, trying to see if there was a way out. There was a ladder that led up to the roof of one of the buildings. I grabbed it and started climbing, trying not to lose my balance.

Sean: I saw her turn into another alley. I ran in and looked up to see her CLIMBING the ladder to a roof. "Hey! You! Its me! Just... look down! Wait shit, don't fall!"

Rose: I gripped the ladder and looked over my shoulder. "Oh. It's you." I said, and slid down the ladder, landing on the ground safely. "What's up?" I asked, looking up into his pretty blue eyes.

Sean: I breathed a sigh of relief when she was on the ground. "Oh, I just wanted to let you know that what you're doing is really stupid and you're lucky it was just me." He stopped and bit his lip. That wasn't the best thing to say. Now I sound like a douche.

Rose: "Thank you, Commander Obvious. I know what I was doing is stupid, but I'm a big girl, and I think I could've handled a simple ladder."

Sean: I raised an eyebrow. "What I was takling about is walking around out here in the middle of the night alone. Do you want to get raped?"

Rose: "Sorry, I don't know where I am exactly, and I'm trying to find something remotely familiar. And I have wandered around this city on my own several times. Pants have stayed on the entire time, but I did have to kick some balls a couple times. Now I suggest you tell me who the hell you are and what the hell you want unless you want to be added to the list of sorry bastards who got their balls kick cuz of me."

Sean: Oh shit. I backed away a bit. This chick meant buisnesss. "I'm Sean...I just didn't feel comfortable letting you walk away on your own..." This cme out more awkward than I meant it to.

Rose: "Got any guns on ya? If so, put it on the ground and kick it over."

Sean: I turned out my pockets. "No guns."

Rose: "Smart boy. And since it appears you lack an intent to hurt me, I'll let you run free." I said, loosening up a little.

Sean: I grinned. "Well, I could always help you find your way back to where you need to be. You seem...very lost."

Rose: I smirked. "If you want."

Sean: Oh good, she wasn't going to kick me in the nuts. "So where are you headed to on this fine new york night?" I asked as we began walking.

Rose: "Times Square."

Sean: I raised an eyebrow. "Well, right now you're almost to Brooklyn."

Rose: "Brooklyn?! How the hell did I get here?" I demanded, shocked.

Sean: I shrugged. "Beats me. When you wander around New York you get lost."

Rose: I slapped my palm to my forehead. "Oh, I forgot. That Leon guy went to that party in a taxi with me. And he paid." I patted my back pocket for my wallet. "Shit, I left it at home!" I cursedf myself for being so stupid. Then again, I didn't expect to be here. I expected to be wandering around Times Square.

Sean: I laughed. "You are forgetful. I have money, I can pay for a taxi back to where you need to go."

Rose: "Thanks." I said, relieved. Then I laughed. "Whoops, I forgot to tell you my name! I'm Rose."
