Maximum Ride

Arlo: I rolled my eyes at the girl. Great another one. I hated this. Maybe, i could just cut off my wings... Or even go back to the scientists and beg them to kill me. Either would be better that hanging around with more people like me.

Kal: "No." I said. "Why do you want me to stay so badly? I'm not that good of a person."

"No Probs...those freaks have been after me forever."

Alex: "Why do both you and Arlo ask that question? I feel safer with you guys around. I know the flock is safer with you guys around." I shook my head and started flying again.

Kal: "Because, I don't like being here!" I said. "Seth can keep you very safe." I sighed.

Arlo: I walked out to the forest, muttering to myself, wishing that I'd wake up from this terrible dream soon.

Alex: "Why dont you like being here?" Was it something that i did? Something i said? "Is there anything i can do to get you to stay?"

Danni: "Hey you! Where ya going?" I asked, skipping after him.

Kal: because, it's not very fun being hunted down and bossed around." i said, not even cracking a smile as i rhymed.

Arlo: "Away. Why do you care?" i asked, turning my head around, my golden hair go awry.

Alex: Sighing, i aimed downward, finding someplace to land. I needed to get out of the air before i lost it. He could follow if he wanted, but i wasnt going to force him.

Danni: "'cause i care about people." i shrugged.

Kal: I kept straight, my mouth in a hard line. I hated this, all of it. But, in the same sense, i loved it. I got the satisfaction of being different, more powerful.

Arlo: "Huh." I snorted and then glanced to the trees around me. "Well, you shouldn't. It could get you killed." I said, my words sharped then a blade. "I mean, I wouldn't dare kill you, but others you have to watch." I said with a slight smile. "I'm Arlo."

Alex: Jerk. Complete jerk. He kisses me, and gets me to fall for him, and then he thinks about leaving. I kicked and tree and slid to the ground.

Danni: "Danni." I smiled at him, before pulling myself into branches. "But i know how to take care of myself, you dont need to worry about me." I told him, not that he was worrying.

Arlo: I laughed. "I wasn't." I said for clarification. "And I didn't doubt that you couldn't take care of yourself." I said, laying on the ground, keeping my eyes trained on her.

Kal: Why did she want me. I could tell it was me in particular. It's not like we were in love.

(Argh! My ears hurt. I'm gauging them right now.)

Danni: I rolled my eyes at him, and continued climbing up the tree branches.

Alex: Why did he kiss me? Why did he pull me ontop of him for another kiss? Why was my life so messed up?

Arlo: I figured that I might as well get to know her. "So, you're like us and you know Seth. How? I mean the Seth part."

Danni: "Never said i knew him. But if you must know, i was the girl whos cage was next to his...he kept me sane until i found a time to escape. I tried to get you guys out but i couldnt." I slipped and almost fell out of the tree but grabbed a branch last second.

Alex: I saw Kal land a bit of ways away from me and i pulled my knees to my chest.

Arlo: "I didn't say you said that. I kinda got it when he said your name." I smirked as she fell slightly. "But then... Kal, as usual, got us out." I scoffed.

Danni: "Kay is still with you guys? I thought he would have gone away by now."

Alex: I got to my feet and flew over to Kal. Before he could push me away, i kissed him.

Kal: "What was that for?" i growled and stood up.

Arlo: "Yep, probably not for long, though. He ran off a few hours ago." I sighed.

Alex: "You dared me." I pointed out.

Danni: "Thats upsetting." I shrugged.

is it too late for i to join? i wanna be a... what were the werewolf thingys? Is that ok?

Kal: I sighed and jumped back further. "Earlier, when I wasn't angry. And I actually wanted you to." I said.

Arlo: "Eh, sort of." I smiled. "So how did you find us?" I asked.

Alex: "What did i do to tick you off this time!" I nearly shouted at him. I swear he was moodier then i was sometimes.

Danni: "Followed the wind." I shrugged.

Arlo: "Right. Um, question. Could you come up with a more cliched answer?" I asked, a bite in my tone that I didn't intend.

Kal: "You tried to make me promise I wouldn't leave. When I said i couldn't, you pushed and pushed and pushed!" i said, my voce raw.

Alex: "I dont want to loose you!" I shouted back at him. "But if you dont want to stay, they leave. I'm not going to stop you anymore." A tear streaked down my face.

Danni: "Well i could have said that i Winged it to get her..." I laughed lightly.

Kal: "Oh, honestly, don't start the waterworks!" I said before quieting down and giving her one glance before walking into the forest. I would come back, in a while, but not now. I needed to cool down.

Arlo: "Yeah, I guess you're right." I said, still frowning a little. "Sorry, I hate bird puns."

Alex: I turned on my heel and walked the other direction. I found a waterfall and sat next to it, wiping my eyes. Something came up behind me, gagged me and threw me into the harsh waters below. I hit my head against a rock and blacked out.

Danni: "I can understand that." I shrugged, before jumping down next to him.

Kal: I flew up, heading back towards the cabin. I landed and smiled, taking a deep breath of the musty air. This place had been sitting for a while and you could tell by the smell.

Arlo: I was a good head taller than her. "Why is your hair in braids?" i asked, picking one up before letting it drop back down.

Alex: Memoryies flashed infront of my eyes when i blacked out. Me and kal at the lab. Training together, times when he would reasure everything would be ok when we were younger. The good times...if you could call them that. Was this the end of it? Was i dieing?

Danni: "Cause i felt like it." I shrugged, "Plus its way easier to fly with them like this."
