"And he says nothing! I can't tell him how I feel, or he'll tell me that my feelings compromise my position as a member of his retinue. He'll send me away, and the worst bit is that he'll be doing it for my sake." Skip sighs again, even more heavily. "I'd rather be around him without ever telling him the truth than to be sent away."

"Ah. So I see. But do not doubt him. Remeber this," she says quietly.

"Thanks." She puts one of her arms around Cassie's shoulders. "It's nice of you to say so. I'll try to tell him as soon as I can pluck up the courage. It's funny isn't it? I expect it's similar for you, but I have no fear facing Modark berserks or being pinned down by Zaxiphrasian snipers, but the moment I try to tell another Nuska how I feel about him, I lose it."

((Sorry, I've got to go now.))

"Yeah, it's hard." said Cassie.

Dan:
I look at Skip and nod, "I know how you feel, I waited nearly nine years before my girlfriend, Stella actually knew I loved her" I said.

"Moons of the dragon planes," Peter explained. "Dragons are basically anthropomorphic...dragons...that live in parallel universes far from our own. They aren't really called 'dragons,' but that's what we humans nicknamed them because we're physically incapable of speaking their languages. Vreshnik can't speak their languages, either. Likewise, the dragons are equally incapable of pronouncing our words. ...I don't think I want to know what they call us, though."

((Now, in the present conversation...))

"Someone else here knows the feeling, too," I said with a grin, nudging Peter.
"Wh-what are you talking about?" he stammered, his face turning red.
"Aw, come on. I've seen the way you look at Sarah."
"N-no I-I..." He regained his composure. "I won't talk about this."
"Sure you will!"
"You will henceforth not bring up any topic involving my personal feelings. That's an order. Doing so from now on will be insubordination."
"...You're no fun."

Penny: I started doodling on my hand with a pen, slightly bored now. I really wished the rain would stop already.

Dan:
I yawn and raise my hand bored I start making sparks a red one pops along my fingers. I immediately jump and holdout my hand like its on fire. "Did you guys see that?" I yell.

Penny: "See what?!"

"Did I see you being a physical impossibility?" Peter asked dryly. "Yes."

Penny: I frowned. "This is confusing."

"I saw a red spark. Is there something special about that? It's probably just electrictiy arcing through a pocket of anomalous gas."

Dan:

"No no, I would have been able to tell if it was that, the last time I did that big lightning pillar thing different color sparks kept flying all over me before it happened I only know because I saw it on the news, there was red, blue, green, yellow, purple even, when I usually only use white!" I say excited, "The red spark maybe I am figuring out how to do the lightning pillar thing!"

"The colour of an electrical spark is entirely dependent on the medium it is moving through." Skipper draws a series of glass tubes from one of the pouches on her belt, and slots them into a torch-like apparatus. "Observe. The colour of the spark depends only on the gas in the tube."

((This is actually entirely correct. I did this in Physics and Chemistry last year.))

"Still...confused," said Evan.

"Don't worry. It's just an amusing bit of chemistry." Skip smiles. "But it does look cool. Watch this." The six glass tubes are slotted together, each one capped at both ends with little metal hubs. She holds the trigger and each tube lights up a different colour. "See? Useless, but amusing."

"Woah," exclaims Evan.

"It's not that amazing. I mean, I've seen a lot of advertising signs on this planet that work on the same principle. It's not as cool as doing the Hadrag's Cradle with four arms." Skipper stares into space for a moment. "Actually you have to have four arms to do it right. You have something similar, I believe. Cats' Cradle?"

"Yeah," said Evan. "But that is like art." added Evan, pointing to the tubes.

"You're right, but compared to some of the arc sculptures I've seen, this is like kiddy finger-painting. And that's crazy enough with twenty fingers, I can tell you." Skipper wiggles all of her fingers just to emphasise the point. "What's your interest in art, anyway?"

"I'm an artist... well amature...the guy who was here earlier, he gave me his sketches." said Evan with a grin.

"Amature? Really?! You're amazing." said Cassie.

Penny: "Wait, you have art? Can I see it?"

Dan:
"No... I don't think thats it, I'm almost sure its something else, before I killed the Senetaur the first time I did the lightning thing there were those sparks and I also said something in basic, something about the spirit of the Koleospteron lightning being angered and ready to destroy... I can't remember it all its too blurry" I say annoyed.

(Btw a Senetaur is like a Centaur but its human half has six arms and it has six horse legs and its human half is like a humanoid horse)
