Yet Another Victorian Chat!

Ella took each step silently, staring off into the dim light at the last step. "Isadora..." she whispered, and then she saw what was beyond the steps. Cages. Row apon row, and there were people in them, like dogs in a pound...

Lucien: I shrug. "I guess it is. But can you helped what you're born into?" I move to go back to the party. "Just remember that you were a hair's breath away from being auctioned off as well."

Chance watched her go through his mask, shuddering a bit. Sketchy. He slipped out of the party unnoticed.

(Do ya think you can play a servant or something, so I don't have to play both parts in the Ella scene? Oh, and Isadora, could you place her somewhere please? )

(Mmk. Should I have Eliza run into someone too? I figured she'd be in trouble and told to get out.)

A woman stops the girl with her cane but otherwise doesn't bother turning to her. Her nails are long, filed, and painted gold. Her long blonde hair is I'm two pigtails on either side of her head and her thick bangs over her eyes. Her blush is in two complete circles but she otherwise wears no makeup. When she talks, her voice is thick and raspy. "You ran away?"

(ooh, creepy servant...Hmm, gregory or chance would be fine. You pick )

Ella nodded absentmindedly, a bit surprised by the cane suddenly in front of her. "Where's Isadora?"

The woman's cane is quick. It's under the girl's chin, forcing her to look up. "Did I say you can speak?" She asks calmly. Before she can answer, the woman flips her cane around and uses the hook to make her fall. She puts the end on the girl's back. "Careful. Do that too much and you'll be damaged property. And then we'll have to sell you for parts."

Ack, well I guess since her and Gregory already talked...

Eliza: "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I plate comes flying through the air and just barely misses my head. I stick out my tongue and George gets up from his chair. He grabs my arms and I struggle to get away. "How dare you make a mokery of me in my own home?!" he yells. He pushes me down and I throw a shard of the broken plate at him. It only bounces off of him and servants rush forward. "Get her out of my sight!" he spits.

Ella grunted and pushed against the stone, trying to get up. "Where is she?"

My characters aren't really involved, so I dunno if I'll stay or not.

The woman sighs and moves the cane to the girl's head. "I suppose you want things bluntly then, so here it is: Shut. Up."

Eliza: The servants push me outside and clothes the door in my face. Fine then, I don't need them. The only reason I did this was because my master told me too. But I start punching a tree nonetheless. Stupid, stupid Gregory! How dare he treat me like a dog!

We just have to try to... I have a couple that I haven't really used yet either.

Well, Lucien's family, the girl Delia was talking too, are part of the Black Market. While she doesn't really like it, she snuck into the auction ran by her family where they auction off humans. She did this with a servant named Chance who works for the Blackwells, another noble family. Ella, a street kid, may possibly be auctioned off after being kidnapped and taken to Lucien's house.

Confusing.

Hm... Ok, hold on.

The night before:

Gregory, an old and insane gravedigger and Robin, his young apprentice, were confronted by Annie, a gravedigger. She got away.

The next day (Current day.):

Robin and Ella, a street child, were accused of stealing and ran to hide in an ally. There, Ella was kidnapped by a guy who was actually pretty nice, but very guilty.

Lucien went to Antony Blackwell's house with her mother. She later foun out that her mother took her with her to get her out of the house. She asked Antony if a servant could walk her home (Chance) and they left.

Isadora, the escaped asylum patient, was also kidnapped.

The people who kidnapped them were going to Luciens house where they were basically auctioning off humans. You have to give them something to get in, and most people give them other people. Hence Isadora and Ella were kidnapped.

Lucien and Chance sneak in and Lucien embarrases her brother in front of everyone. Chance confronts her about what her family does and then leaves.

Eliza, the formerly dead girl, was helping Lucien's brother during the auction and was kicked out for laughing at his expense.

Ella attempted to stick her tongue out at the woman, though that's hard to do when your face is pressed against the floor. But she didn't say anything.

Chance was just leaving when he saw some girl throwing punches into a tree. "Um...everything alright?"
