Yet Another Victorian Chat!

Chance blew a piece of hair out of his face. "She's mute, in case you haven't noticed. She said something about how she's not a prostitute."

Eliza: I nod, but now the man only looks disgusted. He crosses his arms and frowns. "Is this some kind of practical joke?" He sniffs. "Well I will nit play into it. Out you hooligans. Shoo!"

Chance: "Do you want the money, or not?" He cocked an eyebrow at the man.

Eliza: "We inky serve honorable people, sir!" he says. My eyes narrow and I wave the money in his face. take it, damn you! I just want the necklace, honorable or not.

"She said she's not a prostitute, what's so dishonorable about that?" Chance mused.

(Something should happen with Ella and Isa scene )

Eliza: "Her dress is ripped and horrid, her hair unfashionable (it's short), and she looks as though she's been in a fight. If she is not a prostitute, then what is she?" I think back go my conversation with Gregory. "An Eliza!" I mouth.

"She said she's an Eliza," Chance said, and chuckled a little. The shopkeeper looked about as red as a tomato.

(Should I have the servant come rough them up?)

Eliza: The man looks ready to explode and he starts moving us to the door. "Enough! I will participate in your silly games no more! Now out before I get the Bobbies!"

(Sure! And hehe...that's such a funny word...Bobbie. It sounds more like some sort of baby toy than a tough police force with a gun.)

"Alright, alright! Fine, we'll go spend our money somewhere more culturally accepting, thank you very much!" Chance pretended to be overlly offended and strutted out.

Eliza: I stick my tongue out at the man before following Chance. "That bloody little bitch," I mouth as I cross my arms. "He's a... a... a crusty old man! That's what he is."

The servant from before runs her cane along the cages. "Dinner time, children."

(sorry! I'm back. That was scary, my dog kinda sat on my keyboard and somehow disabled my touch pad, so I couldn't navigate my computer...but I fixed it XD)

"Oh, I'm sure there's plenty of necklaces around the city like that one," Chance said.

Ella covered her ears. That was loud.

Eliza: "I guess..." I mouth, but I'm still upset. "You didn't want anything, did you?"

Chance shook his head. "I'm fine...I don't think the shopkeeper would appreciate it if I walked back in, either." He flashed a slight smile.

Eliza: I smile too and take his arm. "Well, the tailor's much nicer," I say. "She even gives me candy sometimes. C'mon!"

The woman stops and watches as more servants come to open the doors. They hold shackles and chains and wait for the prisoner's to come forward. "And please- don't be foolish," she says.

Oh and this is kinda late, but it's ok about your dog. My dog's ignorant to do something like that.

Chance let her tug him along, looking through the shop windows at the fancy brand-new things. "Sounds fun," he chuckled.

Ella looked up, and her eyes widened at the sight of the chains. She glanced at Isadora and then back to the woman servant.

(Haha, yeah, my dog's kinda dumb sometimes He's so dumb he's adorable though, so I don't mind XD)

"C'mon," the woman says. "We don't have time for whining." The blonde girl slowly inches forward and let's the servants put manacles on her. Her face has become blank.

Eliza: I eagerly walk into the store and hug the woman sorting through books. She laughs and twirls me around for a moment before picking up the books she dropped. "Oh, and who is this?" she asks when she spots Chance.

(My dog's problem is that he's too smart for his own good. My mom told him to get off the couch because she had food, so he climbs up on the armrest and gives her this look like "There, I'm far away from the food.")

"Chance," he said, holding out his hand with a smile.

Ella frowned, looking at the manicles. She didn't do anything wrong, so why did they have the right to treat her like a criminal? She didn't move, just hugged her knees.

The woman frowns and walks towards her. "You have til' the count of three to get up," she says boredly. "One, two..."

Ella bit her lip. "And what if I don't?" she asked quietly.

"...Three." The woman grabs the girl by her hair and pulls her up, forcing her towards the door. The servants snicker at the girl's torment, but don't move to shackle her. She belonged to Princess for now.

Eliza: I nod and show the woman, Mrs. Kingsly, my torn dress. She nods. "I'll have some fabric out in a minute. And how about you sir? Can I interest you in anything?"

(ooh, Princess...)

Ella struggled in her grasp, trying to push herself away. "Take a breath mint," she coughed.

(Hmm...*ponders whether Chance wants something or not*)

(This is also a little late, but back to the dumb dog topic. haha. My dod can be very smart sometimes. He taught himself how to roll down a car window and is the best escape artist you've ever seen, yet he always manages to run face-first into walls and is scared of the cat. XD)

Princess barely looks down at the girl as she Rams her cane into her stomach. "First rule," she reminds her.

(He can if he wants to, Eliza's like a sugar mam. ;P)
(And wow that's so cute. The cat must run things in that relationship.)

Chance's eyes flitted briefly to a top hat that was on display. He'd always wanted one of those...to wear to what, he had no idea. But he didn't want to be a leech.

Ella doubled over and sucked in a breath, then glared up at her.

Eliza: I look in the direction that Chance is looking and grin. I point and Mrs. Kingsly starts to gush. "Oh yes, a top hat, of course! I'll have it wrapped up for you in just a moment."
