the greatest music festival of all time: Woodstock (kinda m.)

Aubree: "No thanks, I don't smoke," I say as I take out my notepad. The first page was title "Possible Reasons Why:" I immediately crossed off "Cult/Joint suicide," "Pagan ceremony" and "Extreme protest." Next to the title, I wrote "Concert??" "So you would say that music plays a big part in the hippie culture?What do you believe in exactly?"

Rose: "peace, love, music, and happiness." I said dreamily as I took another drab of the mary jane.

Aubree: I sigh and scratch my head. This is useless. These people are gonna make me go undercover, aren't they? Suddenly, some guy goes and bumps into my. My tape recorder goes into a puddle and I start cursing. I hurriedly run over to see what I can salvage.

Mikey: "Oh damn, sorry," I say as I go to help the girl up. But she continues to focus more on the recorder, so I shrug and try my best to move around her.

Rose: "hey dude!" I said, and jumped down off my car and gave him a high five.

Mikey: I raise an eyebrow at the girl but go ahead and high five her. I don't even know her... "Um... Thanks?" I say. At this rate, I'm gonna be late for work again.

Rose: I crawled back on top of the car, took another drab of cigarette, and started strumming Santana happily in my own little world.

Mikey: I look up as I get ready to leave. "Hey, is that Santana?"

Rose: I looked up, smiled and nodded. "He's supposed to be here in a couple days. I'm excited to see him. He's amazing."

Id like to correct something due to inaccuracy:
Woodstock was in August for three days instead of five. *fail*

August 15, 16, 17, and just after midnight on the 18.

Mikey: My eyes widen, although I doubt Ma would let me out of te house to see him. Specially with ny concert tomorrow. "Oh," is all I can say.

Rose: "I heard the Grateful Dead, the Who, Sha-na-na, and Jimi Hendrix would be here too. This is going to be the best concert EVER. I'm so glad all I brought was a change of clothes, beer, my guitar, pot, and my video camera. I'm recording all the fun stuff and the best bands. I want to make so many new friends, then drag them back to Virginia and have a huge party." I said, jumping off the car and twirling around.

Mikey: I laugh, causing a few people to jump and look around. My brother said my laugh's worse than thunder, but it can't be that bad, right? "Make sure you invite me along," I say. "I'm gonna be bored stiff once school starts again."

Rose: "well then, Aquarius will ride in the back, and you can ride up front with me."

Mikey: I smile, although I know that if she really invited me, I still couldn't go. "I've got no clue who that is..." I say. "But guess it's a deal, huh?"

Rose: "Aquarius is my guitar, silly!" I laughed and strummed it. "But I'm glad you can come to my epic party!" I said happily. One new friend down, about a million more to go.

Mikey: "Cool. The name's Mikey by the way," I say before going to sit with her. "Mikey Spades."

Rose: "well, some call me Aquarius, some call me Ophiuchus, some call me Mary Jane, but most call me Rose. Rose Swan." I said, smiling.

Mikey: I raise an eyebrow. Why so many names? "Sorry, it's just Mikey for me," I say. "Or "Micheal" according to my mom. Nice to meet you though."

Rose: "same here." I said smiling.

Mikey: I watch beeps suddenly and I curse. I'm officially late! Mr. Day o's gonna murder me! For a record store guy, he wasn't as chill as I'd have liked. "Gotta go!" I say as I hop off the car.

Rose: "peace man!" I said as he ran off.
