CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Sparrow: "You dont see me dumping snow down your pants," I muttered with a smirk.
"Nope, I think I'm just going to leave you here in the snow, have fun with the neighbors!" I called as I pretended to walk away.

Milo: I followed her, catching her wrist. "Don't pretend you're not hungry." For food...or my attention.

Sparrow: I laughed as he pulled me back. "All right tough guy, I give, I'll show you where to go," I let my hand slide into his, hoping last night wasnt a one time thing.

Milo: I was surprised she took my hand but closed my fingers around hers. "That was easy." we walked down the block, seemingly empty. A lone car or two passed us and Sparrow drank everything in. She glanced around like something was bothering her. "What is it?"

Sparrow: I shoved my free hand in my pocket, staring at nothing in particulat. "We shouldnt be here. This isnt my home anymore, and I feel like everyone who looks at me can see that.." I admitted to the sidewalk.

Milo: "We can talk to the others when we get back. Im sure they wouldn't mind leaving too. We all feel like we need to keep on the move to escape Iron Eagle and the others." We walked in to the store. "Eggs?" I asked her.

Sparrow: "And milk and bread," I added, walking in aimlessly. I began to rifle though the magazines when someone called my name.

"Sparrow?!" I turned to find Marie gawking at me with an open mouth. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Fuck you life, fuck you.
"Hi Marie, long time no see," I mustered a smile.

Milo: When I came back with the eggs I found Sparrow over by the magazines, talking with another girl. "Hey..." I said not sure if Sparrow wanted me there or not.

Sparrow: "Umm Hey Milo."

Marie: "What are you doing here? I thought you were never coming back, I mean when they sent you away I-"

Sparrow: "Yeah. I know."

Marie: "Well how long have you been here? And why didnt you tell me? Where are you staying? Did Sara let you come home?"

Sparrow: "No, it's not-"

Marie: "Have you even talked to her? Did you know she had the babies alrea-"

Sparrow: "HEY MARIE?" I force a grin. "Have you met Milo? I don't think you have. MILO, SAY HI." I pulled him over, begging him to just go along with it.

Milo: "Er-hello." I ran my hand through my hair nervously and laughed. "Nice to meet you Marie." I gave her a smile, hoping that it would ease the tension.

Sparrow: I could see the stars in her eyes already. Wont this be fun?

Marie: "Hey," she smiled real friendly like, pushing some hair behind her ear. "Why havent I met you before? You live in West Bridge? Are you visiting? How do you know Sparrow?" she asked, straightening out her uniform. I wondered how long she had been working here..

Milo: "I don't think we've met. This is actually my first day here," I said in a friendly tone "Sparrow and I...have mutual friends." I set the eggs down on the counter. "I'll go get something for lunch, I doubt we'll want eggs twice." I gave a nod to Marie, and headed down the aisle to my left, searching for something that would appeal to all of us.

Sparrow: I watched him leave and Marie hit me in the arm. "Ow, what was that for?"

"Shit, he's hot! Who is he? Where'd he come from? Does he have a girlfriend? DETAILS!" She was practically shaking me and jumping up and down at the same time with a dazed smile biger than Canada. I bit my tongue.

"I met him out of town. He's here cause we're just blowing through town. And he's my good friend so dont even think about it." I said, hitting her back, but she didnt seem to notice.

"Wait.." She gave me a look. It was that 'we're gonna talk about boys' look. "You like him dont you! Are you guys dating yet? Have you kissed? I bet he's a great kisser!" She said dreamily.

"Hey. Cut it out. No we're not dating, he's my..." I stared after him. How to finish the sentence? "He's my friend."

Milo: I picked up a box or two of mac and cheese. That stuff would last months. I wondered around and stood over some ramen, picking a few of each. The store was way over heated, and it was getting muggy inside my sweatshirt because of that damn snowball Sparrow had chucked at me. I pulled it up over my head, mussing my hair and not giving a damn. I looked up at Sparrow, she and her friend were looking at me. What? I thought stubbornly. Is it illegal to wear a t-shirt here?

Sparrow: I cringed as Marie squealed and hit my arm repeatedly.
"Look at him. Just look at him! God, you've been God knows where with that piece of ass and havent done anything?!?!?! I could kill you! I don't believe it. Sparrow, if you don't grab him up soon, I will."

"Watch yourself girl. I may have been missing for a while but I havent forgotten anything. I've still got the best right hook from here to the edge of West Bridge." I warned her, getting defensive. She rolled her eyes.
We watched him in silence. Marie was full of it and boy crazy beyond the point of healthy, but hell if she didnt have a point. I looked over at Marie, then back at Milo.
"Milo, what's taking so long?" I called to him. If I had to watch her drool over him any longer I would break something.

Milo: "Sorry!" I called scooping up my booty and laying it down on the counter. A box of ramen fell off the counter and I knelt down to get it at the same time as Marie "I got it." I laughed, but her hand bumped against mine as she reached for it.

Sparrow: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand now I'm offcially done with this bullshit.
"Oookay. What do we owe ya?" I asked, shoving my way in front of Milo as he started bagging our stuff.
Marie was not even paying the least bit of attention to a fucking word I said. "Oh screw this shit. Here. Bye. Tell the gang I said hi and don't get you'reselves killed." I grabbed Milo's arm and started pulling him out of the store.
"Tell them yourself!" She called, and I could hear her annoyance. "There's a gathering tonight. You know where."

Milo: Two things hit me as I walked out the automatic door. The first was a bitter gust of winter wind, the second was a thought. 'Theres a gathering tonight'........what did that mean? I looked over at Sparrow. Her face was drawn, deep in thought. I meant to find out what was going on here.
