Andrew: Ugh...so confused.

Liz: Oh I get it!

Ezra: *understands too*

Andrew: Now I feel stupid...

Ezra: That's because you are stupid.

Andrew: *fumes silently because Liz won't let him hit Ezra*

Sarah: Don't feel bad, Andrew. It was tough for me to get at first, too.
Nike: I grew up with this stuff.
Peter: Senet and I were kind of forced to...

Liz: Andrew grew up on a diffrent time period. Even those he's been here for a few years-

Ezra: *interupts* A few years?! He's been here for almost a century.

Liz: Fine. Almost a century...Anyway there are still some things that he hasn't understood. Time must pass quickly for him...

Riddle: Time passes increasingly quickly the longer you've been existing! (Excitedly. This she understands.) THAT'S why I do...erm. Uh.(Pause.) Things feel as swift as a taco... LIKE BUTTER ON AIR to me...but slow and painful or whatever to ya'll 'cos this is your first time being the years old that you are. I've been 15 for coming up on 3 years now...and I DON'T GET TO BE SIXTEEN for another 1.5!(Is outraged about all that.((I may have gotten my own math wrong right here, but I can't be bothered right now to go find the notebook in which I did all that maths.)))
T.Mor: To compensate for the whole mess we just celebrate every leap year. (Tries to simplify.)

Andrew: Let's see.... I've been dead for 99 yrs....so I would be....115 yrs old.

Sarah: (whistles) That's an awful lot.
Peter: I'd never want to live forever. I'd pick my natural lifespan over eternity any day. (He laughs ironically.) However short that lifespan could be.

Riddle: Really?! It's so nice...to be able to just blow a whole day and say- hey...I have not just the rest of my life...but THE REST OF FOREVER!
T.Mor: One day you will be all alone though...You know that right?
Riddle: That's why I never played a game of solitaire...or whatsit--majhong. Saving it for when reality explodes. (As if this was smart thinking on her part.)

Andrew: Not fun for me...I'm dead. No one to see me, hear me, talk to me... it gets lonely.

Peter: Well, we can. And if we can do it, then that means all bonders should be able to.

Andrew: Still theres billions of people and the majority cant...you can't touch me anyway.

Sarah: Haha...majority.
Nike: You'd be surprised by just how many of us there are, Andrew. Not on this plane, perhaps, but there are billions of bonders. The four A-Planes all have about eight billion people on them, and every single one is a bonder. It's true though that we can't touch you.

Andrew: Then it's still lonely then... and how many people would come out openly and say they see ghosts....I mean Liz ran away from me...granted I chased after her....

Peter: Hm...I wonder... (He thinks to Sesria that she should fly over and see if she can touch Andrew. She does, and is successful.) So souls can touch you, even though you're on the material plane. Maybe you're stuck halfway in between...?

Andrew: She's dead?! I am stuck halfway no where I can go or belong

Peter: Sesria isn't dead...she's my soul... Can you see her? (He points to the purple-eyed barn owl.)

Andrew: Yeah...I can.....

(Everyone exchanges wierd glances.)
Riddle: Are you all and the toast on an acid trip again?(Shakes head.) How come people keep hallucinating without bringing me along?!
T.Mor: I dont' think they're hallucinating...
Riddle: They're CLEARLY hallucinating. AND I WANT IN.

Peter: We're not hallucinating...
Sarah: You'll see them, too, when you become bonders.

Riddle: Oh...Alright then.(Has cleared this up unexpectedly quickly in her own mind.)
T.Mor: How come you drop things so easily when they explain it but you just argue with me? What's up with that? (Indignantly.)
Riddle: Meh.(Shrugs.) They're Professionals. you know that. You however...are not. Duh.
August: That almost sounded like logic...Wait-(Something clicks.) You guys are voluntarily giving her the power to travel transdimensionally? Are you CRAZY?
Riddle: I think its' the best idea that anyone has had in the past decade.

Peter: It's not like she can just flick through the planes on a whim. It's tough to do. You three should know that--I mean, you see how it affects us. Also, it's incredibly dangerous when you factor in the Sybek. Though...I don't know how her immortality would affect the machine...
Nike: That's actually an interesting topic to consider. I'm curious now.

Riddle: There's a bonder making MACHINE?! (Eyes practically leave sockets.) That's just awesome. Not as awesome as touching the centre of the universe...but still. That's pretty frikkin' awesome. Does immortality break it? Or...erm...what would that do to things?
T.Mor: Actually concerned for the rest of us and the reprucussions that you're breaking it could have?(Doubtfully.)
Riddle: No...I just want to know if it would involve fire. Or dismemberment. Fire is the favourable answer.
T.Mor: Of course.

Peter: No, the machine doesn't make bonders; it kills them. It takes their energy and they die. It's what the Sybek use to gather energy to destroy universes.
Senet: You see, zey based ze phreenceeple on sheefteeng. When you sheeft, you use youhr enehrgy to make a hole een ze fabhreec of ze uneeverhse. What ze Sybek do ees use huge amounts of enehrgy to make a hole so masseeve, ze fabhreec buhrsts and all ze life and soul enehrgy speells out. Ze plane can nevehr again hold life.
Peter: That's why the Sybek capture bonders rather than kill them on the spot. Anyway, I'm wondering if Riddle's immortality would keep her from dying by the machine...though now that I think about it, I believe she would die. Her store of energy isn't affected by her body--after all, the body's just a vessel.

Riddle: Hmm...The only way to figure that out is to try. (Dangerously.)
T.Mor: Not going to happen.
Riddle: What if...(Hesitates to say this...probably first display of emotion that didn't have to do with fiendish glee) What if my dad was right all those times he told me that I had no soul? What then?
T.Mor: He's lied to you before...

Ezra: *is confused*
Liz: *is confused*
Andrew: *is confused*

Peter: No, you have a soul. It's right there. (He points to the invisible creature.) You wouldn't be alive right now if you didn't have a soul.
