~Character Chat~

((Yeah, I thought everyone came along, too.))

"Ah!" Izzy sighed happily. "I love these games... Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite series. That and Zelda...and I'm also a Halo fan, too! Oh, and Portal! I love Portal..." She indicated her shirt with a grin.

"I do Zelda on Gamecube...Have to share the save file with a bunch of nimrods though... And Like I said, I beat both Portal games." Riddle muttered, not turning away from the screen. "GLaDOS is my favourite."
She seemed so calm in front of the screen..So...unlike herself.

"How are you keeping up?" Izzy asked in a voice that could only be described as computerized. "Good. Because I'm a POTATO!" Izzy seemed to be quite good at stage-whispering.

Riddle giggled. "The other day- I saw a deer. If you do well, I may just tell you about the deer again." She recited from memory. "I like this game though." She said, pointing at the pause screen.

(let's just assume they did)

"I still don't know why you like him so much," said Andrew, turning to Liz.

"I don't, either," Peter grumbled.

"He can be sweet at times...." said Liz thoughtfully.

"Oh sure! Whe he's not trying to get rid of me and torture Peter!" said Andrew sarcastically.

"WHINING! YOU MADE ME DIE." Riddle complained, not tearing her face away from the screen, where she was furiously mashing buttons. "SO ALL YOU ALL SHUT UP TIL I WIN." She said seriously.

Ezra played feverishly.....man she was good.

"COME ON THINGY DO THAT...THING YOU DO!!" Riddle mashed more buttons frantically. She seemed to have devolved from insane to a brilliant strategist, and all you had had to do to accomplish this miracle was shove a videogame in front of her face.

"HOW DOES SHE DO THIS?!" Ezra shouted to T. Morr, just a second ago she had been saying something about waffles.

"She's...I dunno...Immortal?" T.Mor suggested wildly. "She gets a lot of gaming practice at home, I mean, We all tend to know at least 1 game very well...I play Joust." T.Mor attempted to explain futilly.

"What's going on?" Ezra's mom called down from the basement door upstairs.

"Nothing! Sorry just got a little carried away!" lied Ezra.

"It sounds like you've got friends over...you don't do you? It's 3:00 a.m."

"No mom." said Ezra, motioning for them to be quiet.

T.Mor sort of flipped out at the sound of the voice from upstairs. It sounded so...familiar...Not like he knew HER personally, but he knew that tone. That "Mom" tone. He hadn't heard someone talk like that in years. T.Mor went to stand by the stairs silently, hoping to catch a glimpse of a parental unit that he was silently wishing would be his. "But that's silly...They're dead..." He reassured himself, before walking back to the game where Riddle was pwning so devestatingly.

"Are you okay?" asked Andrew, appearing behind T. Morr.

"What?--Oh...Yeah...I just thought I heard...It...It was nothing." T.Mor said quietly.

"I heard what you said. I wanna know." said Andrew seriously.

Ah, Peter thought wistfully. The "Mom" tone. There's a voice I haven't heard in a while...
He looked over to T.Mor.
"Yeah," he said. "You're among friends...ish. What was it?"

"Look. Who have I got to tell?" said Andrew, he was truly older than he's years. He looked sixteen but in his eyes there was sorrow, pain, joy, and wisdom mixed into one.

" I just...I haven't heard that sort of voice in over a decade..." He said quietly. "As you all know, My parents are well, dead." He continued, somewhat shakily. "It's just...odd. Hearing that voice...I mean. It's easy to forget how much you miss them when you're out killing people..."

Meanwhile Riddle played on, completely oblivious to her friend's dilemma.

"Neither have I," said Andrew, giving him a sad smile. "but...ya gotta keep moving on. Your parents...would be so proud that you didn't judge Riddle even though you knew whose daughter it was."

"I can relate," Peter added. "It's a voice I haven't heard in nearly nine years. I agree, it is odd. I miss that voice, too."

"I think we all do...but your parents wouldn't want you to stop living."

"Stop living? You act like I'm a potential suicide case or something..." T.Mor smiled.
That sentence alone brought Riddle out of gaming coma. "SUICIDE!? IF YOU DO...I'LL KILL YOU T.MORBID NAMECHOV."
"Riddle...Aren't you listening?" She looked at him with a 'You really have to ask?' face. "Of course not. Lemme make this perfectly clear. I AM NOT GOING TO SUICIDE." He said quite clearly.
"Oh. Ok. Good. You keep doing that then. I'm gonna go...BEAT THAT GAME."

"I know I'm just saying. I think they would be proud of the good friends you two have made and how much you have grown as people."
