Sparrow: I could have sworn I heard something in my head- some important wire that connected my rage to my rational common sense -pull tought and snap.
I leaned over and picked up a piece of glass from a shattered show case.
"Yo creep." I said to her, but she ignored me.
"Hey bitch! I'm talking to you." I said louder but she was more preoccupied with struggling with Milo. I glared.

"Didn't mommy ever teach you to look at someone when they're talking to you?!" I screamed, pitching the glass at her, nicking her shoulder.

Cricket turned on her. "Sparrow, don't." His eyes were pleading.

Sparrow: I whipped around, "Why isnt anyone doing anything!" I cried in frustration.

"Do you want t' lose a friend to an enemy? And frankly, I don't want to be slammed into any more walls, thanks. Just...please."

Ayakashi
I take in a breath, freeze. My vision focuses again, Ami disappears. I push Milo away from me, send him across the room and pin him to the wall. I turn on Sparrow, glare at her a moment, before a wicked smile spreads across my face. I laugh at her face, feeling crazed by the sound. I point at her. "Dead." Pushing her away too, holding her against the wall. I walk up to her. She cannot move under my power. "Dead." I raise my hand to her, press against her ribs, her lungs, her heart.

Cricket's heart jumped, then flared with rage. "Don't!" He grabbed Ayakashi's shoulders, spun her around. "Ami, stop, just stop. Please."

Sparrow: Suffocation surrounded me, but shit if I noticed. Blind hatred/violence/rage hath no balm better than that of a swift kick in the teeth. To either party. I choked and sputtered, but made no other sounds. It was like being crushed by a rock.
"Y-" Gag. "You thin-" Gag again. "K thizz fixez-" Coughing. "Anything Ami?" I choked out.

"Ayakashi!" My voice drips with poison a low undertone, but its enough to make the pathetic girl freeze. I feel a deep rumbling in my chest, pure loathing flows throughout my body as I narrow my eyes, and grip her wrist roughly.

...B&W?

"Ami." There's a certain feeling that comes with losing someone, a certain helplessness, and Cricket felt fragile standing next to her. If life could be taken so quickly, minds and feelings could be lost in the blink of an eye, then it meant he could, too. But if he could just hold onto everything for a little while longer. It was all so fragile. But what could he do? Plead. Pathetic. But it was something. "Ami, please. And I don't say that often, just please, stop. Try."

Ayakashi
My eyes on Milo, his rage. "Ami, Ami, Ami..." I shake my head, smiling. "Will none of you learn?"
/Stop it, please/ i hear her and i laugh. Pathetic. She struggles, i gasp again, my grasp on Sparrow gone. Pain, such pain... /Stop it, Ayakashi./
"I don't follow your orders girl." I feel something from my nose and reach up. Blood coated my fingers. I cough and more red dots the floor. I chuckle. "Physical pain now? You're learning, but you're also hurting yourself."

Sparrow: I sucked in air almost violently and hacked it right back up. I coughed and sputtered, involuntary tears brimming over my eyelids. I was silently thanking God for cold convenience store floors.

Why'd everyone die?

Cricket winced as Sparrow fell to the ground, then looked to bleeding Ayakashi in surprise. "Why, Ayakashi? What's th' benefit of all this, hm? You're getting yourself hurt, only t' break a few bones of people you couldn't care less about."

Huh, I was trying to think of how to respond

Ayakashi
The taste of blood comes to my mouth, i gag on it. "It's...fun..." I whisper harshly to Cricket. "Like any other sport that hurts you. It's still fun even if you know the danger. I'm made to enjoy it!" Something rises in me and i sputter blood out. It hurts to breathe. "Fine, girl. You don't care this much you must be disparate..." My vision blurs, the pain goes, my body falls unconscious.

Milo slides on his knees to catch the unconscious Ami. He lays her gently down and waves Cricket over. "See if you can wake her up." He says as he gets to his feet and moves swiftly over to Sparrow pulling her up into his lap. "Spar..?" Milos voice is soft, apologetic.

Cricket watched Milo walk to Sparrow, and then obeyed. He sank down to his knees, whistling something. "A'right, that was interesting. Wake up time, Sleeping Beauty. C'mon, come to," he murmered, fanning her and wishing he had some water or something. "Ami. You back?" He was almost hesitant to touch her this time. His wrist still stung a little.

Sparrow: I don't know what I would have said, but I couldnt find my voice so it didnt matter. I just curled into Milo and tried to savor his warmth and the feel of his arms around me.
I really REALLY need new friends.

Ami
Pain, pain... My eyes fly open and i lean over to my side, throw up red. Red, red, red... My teeth chatter with my shaking limbs. I curl up on the floor tensely, clutch my pounding head. My vision swims; i can't focus on anything. "H - Hurts...." Can't seem to breathe, to think...to survive.

I picked Sparrow up and slid her around lightly into a piggy-back style hold. Her arms and legs hung limply as I stood up, I carefully pulled her arms around the front of my chest and hitched her up. Her head rested in the curve of my shoulder, the long brown locks tricking down my front. I approached Cricket "Time to go." Before Ami was gone.

Cricket nodded and placed a gentle hand on Ami's shoulder. "Time to go." Now how to carry her. He figured that if he could run across the city, jumping across rooftops with a who-knows-how-many-pounds bag of stolen stuff on his back, he could carry Ami. He gingerly scooped her up, whistling an apology when she winced at his touch. It was a workout, but he managed to stand up and keep her there in his arms. Red liquid that used to be on Ami seeped through his shirt. "Well...le's go," he said, and they headed out the door.

Now what?
