The Fairies Fight Back

(Haha, I'm back.)

Trintan: I cringed. "Sorry, it's just that I lost some people today and I don't really want to talk about the war."

Freya- I nodded. "I understand. I probably suffered as much loss as you, since I'm having trouble locating my own family."

Trintan: I nodded. "Is that what you're doing now? Looking for them? I can help, if you want." I looked away and down to the ground, hoping I wasn't crossing some kind of line.

Freya- "Yeah, I'd appreciate that." I smiled.

Trintan: I smiled back. "Great," I said.

(If you want to have your fairy fly into Sierra's tree that would be great, or you could wait till the next time I post for Sierra, which would be morning.)

Sierra: Grey sunlight slanted through the entrance to my tree. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up, waiting for myself to fully awake. Today was not going to be the best of days, I could already tell by the gloomy, over-cast sky and the daunting tasks that lie ahead.

Iris- I woke up on a tree branch.

Sierra: I heard a rustling outside my tree and quickly flitted over to grab my spear. I zoomed over to where the opening of my tree was and popped my head out. My spear came quickly down and across the body of a young Pixie (Iris). Her sleepy eyes widened at my sudden appearance and her entrapment.

Iris- I became startled when I realized that someone's spear was right over me.

Sierra: "What are you doing here," I growled at her. I realized she was a Pixie and that she was on my side, but then again you could never trust Fairies.

Wren

I roused with a yawn and a luxurious stretch. Today was the day... I gave my wings a few slow flaps to wake them up, rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, and headed out.

Iris- "I was just tired and stopped here for the night."

Sierra: "If you're lying to me, you will die. Come inside. You look as if you need to eat." I removed my spear and held out my hand to help her up.

Iris- I took her hand and got up.

Sierra: I sat Iris down at my table. "What would you like to eat?" I asked her.

Iris- I glanced at her. If she didn't really trust me, she could just poison my food, but I was too hungry to protest. "It doesn't matter to me. Whatever you have is fine with me."

Sierra: I nodded. I pulled some food out of the fridge and put it on a plate, which I then stuck in a solar-powered microwave. Thirty seconds later I slid the plate in front of the Pixie and I sat down in the chair opposite her.

Iris- I slowly ate my food while keeping aware of my surroundings. "Thank you," I said.

Sierra: I nodded. "So, what's your name?" I asked her.
