I had the Time of my Life

Lena: I froze in the hallway and closed my locker. I felt a little tear come down my cheek. I started walking down the hall when I ran into that guy who knocked me to the ground. I just kept walking, not saying anything to him because more tears were falling than usual and I didn't want him to see my wet face.

Cameron?

Cam: I watched the girl go. Her tears made her look younger, little, in need of help. She reminded me of Andy with those tears. I slowly followed her, though not quite catching up yet. I wasn't sure what I'd say, I just wanted to make sure she was okay.

Zo: I smiled and started to tell my idea of combining a dance, hoping that they'd take it well. We had a 500 dollar budget, so I figured that we'd have enough to make it great.

Lena: I walked down the hall and to the right. I walked into the lobby and sat down on a couch thinking Have I been a bad girlfriend? What did I do to make him go get some other girls number? I stared out the window wiping away some of my tears. The last thing I need right now is to check my make-up.

Devon: Wow, a dance /with/ the carnival?! This was gonna be awesome! We took a vote, and almost everyone voted for the dance being merged with it.

Cameron: Crap, she had turned and sat down. If I left now it'd be obvious I'd been trying not to be seen. I walked over to her, hands in my pockets. "Hey...you alright?"

Zo: I smiled widely as we started to discuss the food and decorations. "Anyone have ideas?" I asked, hoping that I wouldn't be the only one to contribute. The dance was going to be friday, so we didn't have the /most/ time.

Lena: I didn't answer. I shrugged and continued to look out a window. "Have you ever just wanted to yell and scream at someone so bad you don't want them near you anymore but then again you can't bear to let them go?" I asked turning to him.

Devon: I wasn't much of an ideas-person, so I just wrote everyone elses' down as they came.

Cameron: I blinked, how was she reading my mind? Did she stalk me? I had that struggle everyday. "Yes, I've felt that way before," I said softly, hesitantly sitting down beside her.

Lena: I sighed. I refused to look back at him, instead I looked through the window. I wiped more tears away as I slightly leaned my head onto his shoulders and sighed again. "I hate that feeling." I mumbled knowing he could still understand me.

Cameron: I stiffened when she put her head on my shoulder, but didn't have the heart to shake her off. She was reminding me too much of Andy, down to the super-skinny-starving look. "Who wouldn't?"

Lena: I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. When I closed them I saw Patrik and that stupid freshie that I laughed at this morning. I opened them again and took my head off his shoulder. I looked at him and smiled. "People who don't have hearts."

Zo: I smiled as the meeting was coming to a close with only a few minutes left. We had smoothed out /most/ the details, now it was just buying the decorations and food and getting people to set up. I paused when the meeting was over and people started to leave. I had something to ask Devon.

Cameron: "I don't know anyone like that."

Devon: I closed up my notebook, and put the bowl of candy back into the supply cabinet, snagging a mini-snickers. My favorite, and we never got treats at home. I noticed Zo was still here. "Oh hey."

Zo: I smiled as the meeting was coming to a close with only a few minutes left. We had smoothed out /most/ the details, now it was just buying the decorations and food and getting people to set up. I paused when the meeting was over and people started to leave. I had something to ask Devon.

Ashton: I sauntered down the hall with my chin up, determined not to let my stupid break-up effect me or my good mood.

?

I know... My comp is being retarded.

Zo: "Hey," I said, half smiling, trying not to be awkward. "If you're not busy on Friday, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me, just as friends," I said, making sure she knew I wasn't trying anything on her.

Devon: "Oh." I blinked a little surprised by the offer. Just as friends. I fiddled with my pen a moment, but then nodded with a slight smile. "Yeah, sure. That'd be cool."

Lena: "Well it appears that you have one." I said wiping the last of the tears making them dry up.

Zo: I smiled, a little too quickly, and nodded. "Cool," I said. "I'll see you tomorrow," I said, walking out of the room and to the parking lot. My car was one of the only student cars left.

Cameron: "Thanks." I smiled slightly, looking at her.

Devon: I waited until I knew he had a head start - nothing more awkward than having to say goodbye twice - then walked out. I didn't own a car, so I just walked to and from school.

Lena: "You're welcome." I said smiling. I looked into his eyes and I could tell he was starting to kind of like me but then I relized what crying must have done to my face. "Can you be honest with me?" I asked cocking my head to the side.
