The Summer that changed my life forever...

Dakota: I blinked. "Yeah..." I smiled. "This is pretty cool."

Brok: "I know," I said. "Anyone here?" I called out, wondering if anyone was back yet.

Dakota: "It doesn't sound like it."

Brok: A voice called, "I'm here," from the kitchen. "That's Trey, my twin," I said. "Want to say hi?"

Dakota: I looked at him funny. "You have a twin?"

Brok: "Yeah," I said. "He's the pianist in the band."

(and what's Brok? I forget )

Dakota: "You have a twin?" I repeated, then shook my head slightly to clear it. "Yeah, okay, let's go say hi."

(drummer.)

Brok: I laughed. "You must not follow the band that well. Let's go, then. Yo, Trey."

Trey: I turned around. "Hey," I said to my brother.

Dakota: "No, I really don't follow it," I muttered. Okay, this was creepy. Like two Broks, though I guess that's what a twin is. It was still weird.

Brok: I shrugged. "It's cool. It's kind of nice, actually."

Trey: "I'll leave," I mumbled, exiting.

Dakota: I frowned. "Why'd he leave? Did I say something mean?"

Brok: I shook my head. "He's a little...shyer than me. We look alike, but we act nothing alike."

(Brok's Asian right? What kind of Asian? Like Chinese or Japanese or something else? )

Dakota: I nodded. "So...what now?"

Brok: I pointed to the kitchen sink. "It's my turn."

Dakota: "Um, what?"

Brok: "To do the dishes. Kent doesn't let us off the hook on that, unfortunately."

Dakota: "Okay. Do the dishes then...do you want me to leave?"

Brok: I shrugged. "You can watch. It's not every day you see a drummer wash dishes."

Dakota: "Because I'm such a fan girl that I want to watch," I said sarcastically, but smiled. "Alright fine, I'll watch."

Brok: I smiled and started getting to work.

Dakota: I leaned against the wall and pulled out my cellphone, texting someone.

Brok: I noticed her on her phone. "Did you tell anyone you're here?" I thought to ask as I washed a plate.

Dakota: "No, why?" My parents didn't care, they were super loose. Maybe because neither of them were ever home. Well, my /mom/ was never home. My dad was, he was an alcoholic and was useless, but he may as well have not been home. Mom had to work practically 24 hours a day because of dad.

Brok: I shrugged. "Just wondering. I don't want people storming the jet."

Dakota: I frowned. "I wouldn't do that to you." I slid my phone back into my pocket.
