CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

((I just kinda got left in the dust, eh? Must think now.

Also, there's an issue with the invisibility that I didn't realize right away: the person should be blinded by the lights. Happily, I have a way around that.))

We crept into the room behind everyone, invisible thanks to Sarah this time. I blinked, still trying to get used to soul vision.
This is too weird, I told Sesria. I mean, I know I've used it before...I've been trained to use it...but it's still weird.
Be happy you can see at all! she remarked. I can't see a damn thing...
The best way I can describe it is that it was like someone took blue cellophane and stuck it in front of my eyes. It wasn't just that, though. It was hard to see the walls, the ceiling. They would shift around and writhe, but the more I focused on them, the harder it was to take a good look at them. It was mildly frustrating, but I tried to ignore it.
The people in the room became glowing, white wraiths, person-shaped illuminated bodies. I could make out their features if I looked closely, but otherwise it was difficult. Somehow, though, I knew exactly who everyone was without needing to see their faces.
I could see energy, too. Granted, the only person here who was expending energy was Sarah, but I could still see it. It was like glowing strings of pale yellow, spinning out from her hands in starburst shapes, spreading out and surrounding us all in barriers of light. That's how the invisibilty worked, anyway; Sarah was preventing the light from reflecting off of us, showing instead merely empty space. ((Thus, no disturbance in the air or anything like that. Science, bitchez ))
It was the souls that were still the same. They were the only bodies in the room that looked exactly like they did when I wasn't borrowing Sesria's vision. Well, okay, not exactly the same. Looking through soul eyes, they seemed to occasionally glimmer or sparkle a little around the edges. Other than that, though, they looked like they always did. That, and they were the only forms whose details I could see as clear as day.
I feel like my eyes are twitching, I thought with a frown.
They are. She didn't need to see me to confirm it. My body was, after all, simply a vessel that we both used.
It's the walls. They're really throwing me off. I don't know how you deal with that every day.
It's all I've ever known. I would say that I don't know how you deal with everything being so colorful and defined, but since all I can see right now is blinding white...
I think the biggest disorientation is not seeing directly from my eyes.
Oh yeah, I was actually seeing what Sesria would normally see, from Sesria's view. Did I mention that? She sat on my shoulder, so it wasn't too bad, but still. And when she turned her head, I saw myself. Well, the white wraith version of myself.
Maybe I should spin around just to really screw you over.
Ha ha, I thought sarcastically. You're hilarious. Now would you face forward, please?
Fine, fine, she thought, complying.
I extended an arm towards the nearest guard, palm facing outward. Glowing, red strings blasted out from my hand and coursed through the air in triangle shapes, reaching him with lightning speed and splashing against his torso.
He suddenly found himself rather on fire.

Red Wing growled, fighting the pain. She would learn. She would learn her place. Even if it killed him. He was in charge, the superior. "You are nothing without me! A weapon without a master is useless!"

Cricket glanced warily at Ayakashi. Ami had to be in there somewhere. He had to do something. He had to fight, but he had to stay there, but he had to get out somehow...thoughts pulled in every which way. His eyes flitted to the weapons spilled on the ground, to his hands, back to Wisp with her pained smile. "What can I do?" The question was half to himself.

Ayakashi
"I believe you are nothing without me. What is an army without their guns?" I ask amused, twirling the shard in my hand

Wisp
I swallow hard. "The lab." I attempt so sit up but it hurts so freaking much. "T - The drugs..."

Darn...should we wait for people?

Ayakashi's attention was focused on Red Wing. Bad move. Milo crept toward her his movements as agile as a panther. Half way to her he crouched down and scooped up a discarded tranq dart. When he was about 10 feet away, he sprinted up to her, and tackled her to the ground. Fighting through the tangle of arms and legs he nimbly stabbed the needle into her arm. She weakened in his arms, and her hair swooped forward into his lap as her head lolled forward.

(btw, when Wisp says the drugs, is she talking about getting some that can save herself or what?)

And that was epic beautiful.

Hmm...I feel like making Cricket be all BA sometime soon...he's been a damsel in distress for too long.

Sparrow:
I reached across the floor, wrapping my fingers around the first weapon my fingers touched and tossed it to Cricket. "Catch!" I called

Cricket caught the knife in one hand, still watching Wisp. "The drugs? I can get some, what drugs?"

Darn it...keep forgetting about Finn! I have no idea what he's doing right now

I hesitantly try sitting up again, despite the pain. "That boy's going to get himself killed," i mumble, eying the one who had knocked out Ayakashi. "Red Wing doses himself. It won't be fair."

Ayakashi
I tense a moment, fading fast. "You're an idiot, boy..."

"Never said I wasn't." Milo said quietly, brushing Ayakashi's hair from her face before laying her down on the tiled floor.
