CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Cricket saw a growing idea in Red Wing's mind. He was looking at Milo. "Milo!" he warned, leaping in Red Wing's way as he took a step to him. Red Wing snarled and threw a punch, but Cricket was as fast at dodging as the man was at fighting. He slipped out of every attack until he knocked Red Wing's rifle to the other side of the room and thrust his knife under his chin. "Dare try it," Cricket said, but Red Wing only chuckled. "Alright, you've got me here. Now kill me." Cricket snarled in response, but it softened. One swipe of a knife. His hand was frozen to the blade. He couldn't seem to move it. Red Wing shoved Cricket to the ground during his hesitation and raised his tranquilizer to Milo.

Sparrow:
"Shit," I spoke under my breath, groping for another metal object. I chucked the first thing I could find at Red Wing, and used my opportunity to jump to my feet and barrel into him. I guess all I'm good for is a battering ram.

Wisp
I shake my head out of the fuzziness that's coming, teleporting and grabbing Milo, teleporting us away from his gun. I stand, but weakly. Doesn't mean i can't help a little.

Red Wing growled as something hard hit him in the temple, too angry to feel much pain, and barely moved when Sparrow rammed into him. He grabbed her throat in a death grip. "Hello birdy," he chuckled, and glanced at Milo to see his reaction. "She's always such a trouble, what do you say I kill her now?"

Wisp collasped against me"Thank you." I murmured to her before laying her down and turning to face Red Wing.
"You're fight isn't with Sparrow. Let her be. Voetsek, coward!" I saw Red Wing's face twist with intrigue at the use of my home language, but I would face damnation before letting him in on the secret of my people.

Wisp
I teleport to Ayakashi, take the emptied dart from her arm. I grit my teeth. The boy didn't know what the hell he did. I look back at Red Wing, fire in my eyes, though i know i cannot do anything. The M.O. flies over, puts a hand to her forehead with a small chime.

Sparrow:
Oooooo what a badass u are, how long did it take u to come up with that one? All of four seconds? I wanted to say, but considering my windpipe was being crushed, that didnt really happen.
I've been in enough fightouts to have a couple tricks up my sleave. I pulled myself up and lodged my foot in his jaw, and we both went down. I coughed and spat on the tile, trying to regain my breath.

Red Wing shoved her off of him, punched her in the ribs with crushing strength before standing and looking to Milo. "Give it your best shot."

Sparrow:
WHAT. THE. HELL.
Always my ribs.
IT'S ALWAYS MY GODDAMN RIBS.
I couldnt move. Every breath felt like it would kill me. My head swam and my eyes watered.

Milo stepped forward and slammed in a hard left punch, then leant to the side, doging a hit from Red Wing. Using his momentum he rolled backwards and picked up one of the weapons that lay on the foor from when Sparrow knocked over the barrel. Thank you for being a clutz he thought hastily, before jumping back up, knife in hand.

Red Wing swept Cricket's dropped knife off of the ground, face stoney, and twirled it in front of his face for a moment. "It's interesting how one small tool can cause such pain, don't you agree?" His eyes flitted to Milo before lunging at him and swinging a punch hard at his jaw, and thrust his knife to the place where his metal heart was.

Ayakashi
I'm vaguly aware of things. The small pain of the needle, the cold touch to my forehead... Sudden fear of Mo, of Wisp.
"Ayakashi. Wisp."
My eyes open at my name, the voice that says it. I whip around and see him up on a balcony, giving us a small smile. Wisp has the same face as me as she subconsciously moves closer to me.
I swallow hard, fighting the drug still in my system. "Director."

Ooh...are they still in the room?

Milo spluttered, and fell to his knee. Black inky liquid came out of his chest in torents every other beat, and a line of blood trickled from out the side of his mouth from where Red Wing had punched him. He wiped it with his sleeve, and stood, bent over with pain. With a hard grimance he straightened, and flipped the knife around in his hand so that the blade faced backwards in his fist. Red Wing jolted towards him meaning to deliver a fatal blow, but Milo lunged forward, punching and slicing open Red Wing's mouth all in one burst of deadly energy.

Ouch. A throbbing pain in his head. Cricket sat up, fighting off blurriness. Everything came back to him. Red Wing was bleeding and snarling, and Milo was wet with a familiar black liquid, and Ami and Wisp were...wait. Who was that familiar face? The Director. He stood. "Milo!" He staggered hurriedly to his friend, but a red-splattered hand threw him to the ground again. He looked up to see Red Wing, saying something to the Director.

"I had no choice, Director. They attempted escape." The words were sickeningly slurred, bubbling with red at the corner of his mouth where the knife had split his cheek open.

Sparrow:
It was like looking through a fuzzy screen. Like static on a television. everything was wriggling and black and white. I'm almost positive there was an anvil on my head. I could see liquid flying through the air. I could hear someone gargling and someone screaming. Someone familiar flashed in and out of my vision.
I felt like I was lying on my back in a swimming pool.

Ayakashi
The Director took no notice to him. "I have told you not to hurt them," he simply says. His eyes on me, always on me. "Come here, Ayakashi."
Wisp looks over to me. The elder, the 'example'. I offer my hand to her with a nod and she takes it, teleporting us up with him.
"Director..." I keep my eyes away from meeting his.
"I should have you terminated," he says harshly but laughed. "But how you have developed...And now Wisp follows your path. I'm unsure whether or not to consider it a failure or a success. Is Ami still in there or have you snuffed her out?"
"She isn't here. Not right now," i say. "She wants you dead though."
He laughs out. "I would think so." He pauses and i can feel his eyes studying me. "I believe i might have a solution for you two though."
"What makes you think i want to stay here? I like freedom." I look up and glare at him.
"And people do," he says, opening his arms to me. "But you are my project, and i'd rather not lose billions of dollars just letting you go."
