I laugh at him, listening it echo in the small room. "Her certainly," I say. "So she's off on her own...then what do you see her doing? I am an escape for her, from herself. Guilt, fear, anger, confusion...lust, love..." I eye him angrily.
"She does not comprehend how to manage them. She cannot control herself with such extreme emotions. I am a thing with set feelings. They are the most familiar to us, certainly less confusing than all of the ones normal humans feel."

"See the thing is, maybe she would if you didn't exist in the same body. Why don't you want to be free of her? What part of being connected with her gives you pleasure?" Milo stated angrily, trying to sit up.

Ayakashi
I roll my eyes. "And you think /you/ can control her when she gets out of hand? You do not understand our power, Milo, something built to take down entire armies single handed. You do not understand our emotions, hers in particular." I turn from him angrily, withdrawing my power from his head. "We have been played with once before Milo. I will not allow you to toy with her. Give her those emotions of love and simply abandon her? You cannot hear her thoughts, and they frighten even /me/ sometimes. You think you can handle that by yourself?"

"Huh, so you're afraid of what she might do to us, to me. So you are going to sacrifice your freedom to make sure she behaves. To protect the people around her. Doesn't sound like the Ayakashi I know."

Ayakashi
I sigh. "I am a weapon, yes, but weapons are created to protect /something/. I could not care less what she might do to you. I care about what she does to herself. What others do to her. This is /my/ body as much as it is hers, you know. You've seen what our power can do to /us/ too." I wave a dismissing hand at him. "And yes, i suppose that may seem like protecting you people as well. Then again, i am getting free reign for keeping all of you safe as well, even if i don't particularly like most of you." This one in particular.

"You could have neverending free reign if you two were separated." Milo replied stubbornly.

Ayakashi
I grit my teeth annoyed. "No to your second part, fine to your first even if i think it's stupid. Go ahead and fight Red Wing all by yourself, prove whatever you have to with him." I pause and think, turning back to him and eye him dangerously. "My price is that you bring Sleeping Beauty back yourself. Now."

"Bring her back?" Milo asked shaking his head. "What do you mean? As in pull her presence back over yours?"

"Obviously." I chuckle. "Don't act so clueless, she's told you. 'More than care,'" I say, imitating a shaky, tearful voice. "Sound familiar?"

Milo sat in silence staring at his hands. To repeat the same mistake twice...could he do it? Break Sparrow, and Ami's heart twice? He would have to. Milo glanced up at Ayakashi and motioned her over, a blank expression starting to cloud over his eyes.

Finn bit his lip thoughtfully, looking around. "Well..."

Suddenly someone slipped in the door...literally slipped through it, as if they'd melted through from the other side. He didn't recognise him. Someone new? It was a boy with a complexion as colorless as a glass of milk, wearing a mishcheivous smirk. "Yes, how are you going to get out of here?"

Finn cocked an eyebrow. "Who th' 'ell are you?"

"Call me Spiro." He smiled. "Who are you?"

He really cares that much about killing then? Nevermind, perhaps i like this boy a little. Just a little. Just the soldier he had seemed to be made into and nothing more. I unravel my crossed legs, crawl to him, coming right up to him. Just inches from him. Ami's a little squirming mouse in a trap but she wouldn't go against our deal. She's too scared of what might happen, what i might do. She better be; i might make some of those thoughts of hers a reality.

Cricket chuckled. "Aye, that's interesting. But I've got t' interrupt, 'ow're we getting out of 'ere? Not that I don't love chatting and all that jazz."
