The Love Maze

Patrick-I watch Laura walk away from me. Wait....what did she say? "Uh, huh?"

Laura- I turn around and smile at him. "Come on. I want to win you know." I laugh and grab his arm before I keep walking.

Mason: "That's Poe to you, Miss Bronte " I said, snickering a little.

Patrick: I grin. "Yeah, I want to win too. I'm coming.":

Ivy: "Oh, I'm so dreadfully sorry, Edgar," I say, chuckling.

Mason: "Ew. That sounds like a sucky name. Whatever. Let's just go by our normal names." I laughed.

Ivy: "Yeah, that sounds good." And then, for good measure, I add, "Mason."

Mason: "Ivy." I smiled, and stroked her cheek.

Ivy: I smile. Mason is really a sweet guy.

Mason: "We should probably get moving. Someone could be coming right now."

Ivy: I nod. "Oh, right, yeah. Of course. Sounds good."

Laura- I smile at him and continue on with my flashlight and sillystring/

Patrick: I follow Laura.

Laura- I trip over something and start to fall.

Patrick: Quickly, I catch Laura. I'm worried now. What did she trip over?? "Hey," I say, "You okay? Do you know what you tripped over?'

Laura- "I don't know." I frown. I had been tripping over nothing ever since that accident I had two months ago. I cover my face with my hands. "It was probably nothing. I've been tripping a lot these past two months since I had the cast taken off of my leg."

Patrick: I nod, still solemn. "Alright...well, as long as you're okay now...I'm sorry about your leg and everything, by the way."

Laura- "It's okay. I should be fine," I tell him. Yeah, I'm fine. I mean I'm only tripping over thin air all the time is all, I think to myself, more mad at my clumsiness then anything else.

Patrick: I'm dubious, but try to look confident. "Yeah, you will be fine. Of course you will. After all, I'm here."

Mason: I aimed the flashlight around the walls, scanning for anyone--or anything-- coming up ahead. I paused on something in the wall. "Is that a camera?"

Ivy: I stand next to Mason and peer at the wall. "Uh, I think it might be...that's sort of creepy....it's like big brother's watching you or something." I chuckle at my own, lame joke.

Laura- "So you're saying that I'll be fine, but only because you're here?" I joke. "I'm just kidding. I know what you mean. But we should probably get a move on if we want to win."

Mason: "Although the people watching us aren't really our brothers. Or sisters."

Ivy: "Yeah, I know. It's just a reference to '1984' by George Orwell." Once again, I chuckle.

Mason: I grin. "That's exactly what I mean! But alright, let's continue."

Laura- I laugh and continue leading the way, holding my silly string in one hand and my flashlight in the other.
