Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: "I'm not complaining...It's hard to complain when this is the only life one knows...I was just stating facts. Hearing them allows me to confirm things. Unlike some people I know..." I thought back to a certain prisoner awaiting sacrifice "...I do not whine." I said, pulling my spindly body back into a standing position. I pull on the suit jacket. It's structure is comforting and familiar. My hand did not go back to the wall. I considered this a good thing.

mmm...commenting on Wolf's choice, sharing Winter's charries shock... *shrugs* random subject change?
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Alice: I looked around and I could smell something but I couldnt find what it was. "You guys smell that? Or at least Wolf do you?" I asked looking up then behind me.
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: "No. No I can't smell it." I said, a little blunter than I had intended. "Enlighten me." I said to the room as a whole.
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Alice: I looked around. "It smells like...blood." I said with a smile
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: Blood. I was familiar with that. I had less than 7 litres of it as of just recently... and probably would until it reproduced or however you get more blood back. "Oh." I said. "Maybe it's the deer?" I asked, remembering the dead deer in the hallway.
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Alice: I shook my head and my smile widened. "No it is human blood. And it is comming from up the stairs." I said
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: Stairs?! There were stairs? Lovely. I should have noticed them. I listened for them. She was right...There were stairs...But they were far away I think...or there was a wall in my way. One of the two. "Ok." I said objectively. "Votes on going to learn who died?"
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: So...Diplomacy isn't really my forte. I'll be honest. But I felt that other people in this instance were allowed a say in the matter. Normally I would just drag them along regardless of answers, but I was still a bit light headed, and decided that, hey. I was on a roll with the niceness today. "I am indifferent. I don't particularly like staircases but," I raised a brow. "I am curious."

I smelled the blood, too.
"We'll go," I volunteered Na'arsif and myself.
"We will?" Na'arsif asked.
"Yes," I snapped.

My nose twitches slightly. Hmmm....my mouth waters instead of drying as it does with the hunger. But it's a want. Not a need. But still....it's a strong want. But Miss. Vampire Lady needs.

Mr.Face: So. By my amazing mathematical skills, I assumed that I had mustered at least a quorum, which would be enough to go up the stairs. I put my hand back on the wall, preparing mentally for the new space. I wasn't agorophobic...it was just very disorienting to suddenly be moving about in a new set of hallways. "Does someone want to do the honours of being first one up?" I asked, using the question as both a tactical defense against...whatever was out there, and a convenient way to navigate.

I glance up at Mr. No-Face. Tall....
Giggling, i take his other hand. "Come, come! Fifteen of 'em." Walking up in front of him.

Mr.Face: I was being pulled by the short one. She seems so confident in her stair climbing ability. However 15 stairs is quite a lot less than what I had been anticipating. It was odd having someone hold my hand. No one ever did that back in Auda- Any attempt to would be typically frowned upon and punishable by torture. The unexpected touching made a shiver run down my spine. "I can walk you know...I am not a complete invalid." I told her with a humourous grin.

I laugh back childishly. "You weren't going," I say back. "And no your not anyways, Mr. No-Face."

Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: "Well, I was preparing to commence going." I said lightly. I took a step forward, just to prove I could. "See? Going."

Those two were odd. Just listening to their interactions...I dunno. It was weird. The wolf girl acted like a little kid, too. Also...the blood-drinking thing was still creeping me out. As I climbed the steps, I wasn't sure why I said we would go. Stupid curiosity.

Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr. Face: I tentatively climbed the steps, making sure to keep a hand on a rail and one foot on the ground at all times. The floor boards squeaked, reminding me of my least favourite staircase at home. But there were people around, and as a result, I had quite a good image of what the place sounded like.

I smile, going on ahead to the top, scenting the air. Uncomfortable...
I shift, padding along curious. So many doors...where'd they all go?

Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr. Face: I was immediately relieved when I found that the stairs stopped. There was something at the end of the hall. I could hear it's shape. "Well. We may have company. We may have cadaverous company. We may have both. Someone go see about it." I said, somewhat more reminiscent of my usual cold tone.
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Alice: I followed behind them. The scent was getting stronger and a burn began in my throat.
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Mr.Face: I stood awkwardly, waiting for something to happen. "No one is going to investigate? Is that what I'm hearing?" I asked.
Re: Good Can't Always Win. (Evil is the New Black 2!)
Alice: I looked at him.
"If I investigate I will litterally be the one on the floor loving the blood shed." I said
