Xavier shrugged, "Well, I don't know...you just seemed a bit more..." He couldn't think of a word! Of course, now too! He was beginning to get frustrated with himself, "I don't know what I'm trying to say." He muttered in hidden defeat.

Krystal rolled her green-gray eyes at him, her blush now under control, "I suppose I am..." She answered casually, feigning the lack of sureness in her words.

Alison looked at him and moved closer with courage. "Tell me." She whispered. Her eyes were locked on his fac.e SHe wanted to know what he was going to say.

Mark chuckled and said "You were werent you love?" He watched her. She had beautiful eyes and her hair was beatufiul as well. "Well just for the record. Your beautiful."

Xavier stumbled slightly in his words, "I-I mean you seemed a bit more straightforward, and I thought I might've said something stupid...so I assumed you were upset...and I'm starting to sound like a fool." He stopped, knowing that he was about to ramble even more.

Krystal smiled softly, since she wasn't used to such a compliment, "Thanks...and you're definitely not bad yourself. Just for the record." Oh jeez, she thought, did I really say that? It's so corny! He's going to laugh.

Alison shook her head and walked up to him. Thier breath mingling. "No I am not mad... I just wanted to get the point across." SHe said without thinking. She blushed and sighed.

Mark chuckled and shrugged. "I try." He said. It was cute at how she said it. He knew it was a bad pick up line but hey it worked for her.

Xavier realized what she meant finally, but he wasn't sure how to respond for a moment. He smiled warmly, "I think I get what you mean."

Krystal was silently relieved, and then paused before saying, "You know one thing I don't know about you? Your name."

Alison looked at him curiously. "I dont think you do." She said turning her back to him. She didnt want to see his face. If she did she would burst out yelling at the top of her lungs 'I LIKE YOU!' but she wasnt that type of person.

"Mark." He said flatly. He looked at her and asked "Your name miss?" He asked politley.

Xavier took a chance, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, then stated softly, "No, I think I do, and I have to admit I feel the same."

Krystal almost laughed at his sudden politeness because it seemed a little random, but caught herself, "Krystal."

Alison turned and looked at him. Thier breath was mingling. "REally?" She asked trying to calm down her racing heart. Her mind was spinning and her breath was following her racing heart.

"Nice name." He said laughing. "What was the laugh for?" He asked looking at her strangly. Is she crazy? He asked himself in his head.

Xavier nodded his head with a small, but honest smile on his lips and answered with a simple "Yes.".

Krystal would've slapped herself if she could, "I'm not crazy, trust me. I just thought that was a bit...odd from how you were talking before." She then wanted to shut her mouth but she couldn't.

Alison turned and blushed a scarlet red. "Are you sure?" She asked. Thier breath was mingling and she felt her heart skip a beat.

"You can read minds huh?" Mark asking laughing. He fell back and couldnt stop. "Nice going smart one." He teased her.

Xavier gave her another smile before he answered, "Very sure." Except, he wasn't sure whether it was a smart move to kiss her or not.

Krystal was now embarrassed and slightly angry. She didn't know what to say either, and that was bothering her.

Alison smiled as wide as she could. "Good." SHe whispered. Her lips were tingling wanting the touch of his lips against hers. If only Krystal were here.... she thought with a smile.

Mark laughed so hard and sat up. He stopped once he saw her face. "Sorry..." He said trying not to laugh more.

Xavier grinned just slightly before ignoring his doubts, and pressed his lips to hers sweetly and shortly.

Krystal half-glared at him, but sighed and said with obvious fake hurt, "No, you aren't, otherwise you wouldn't have done it in the first place."

Alison was shocked by the kiss. Her heart was chrashing in her chest. She deepened the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Mark s.iled and said "But you forgive me right?" He asked. He winked at her and chuckled softly. She was fun to mess with.

Xavier almost felt like an idiot until she returned the kiss. He hadn't messed up for once, thankfully. His heart beated harder in his chest before his arms wrapped around her waist to bring her a little closer to him.

Krystal shrugged her shoulders, somehow keeping a smile off her face successfully, "I dunno, maybe...".

Alison heart was crashing into her chest. She smiled under the kiss and deepended it as much as she could. Her fingers intertwined themselfs into his hair.

Mark chuckled "Of course you do." He said laughing. "You have to anyway... why? Because you cant get enough of me."

Xavier couldn't really believe that this was happening, but no way was that going to stop him from enjoying it. He pulled away just far enough so he could get some oxygen and smiled breathlessly at her.

Krystal half-scoffed, half-laughed, "You're really sure of yourself, aren't you?" She had to ask with a humourous tone.

Alison didnt open her eyes. She let out a sigh. Alison's heart was pounding and her face was hot.

"Yes that I am." Mark said with a chuckle. "ou forgive me?" He asked playfully winking at her.

Xavier kissed her lightly once more before putting a hand on her cheek, noticing how hot it was. He hadn't felt this way in a very long time, maybe not even during his entire stay on Earth.

Krystal rolled her eyes but smiled, "Well, like you said, I have to." She stretched and leaned back until she was lying down on the grass, her arms behind her head.

Alison let out another slow breath. She needed to calm down her racing heart. She leaned into his hand and closed her eyes. She loved him. She knew she did. Was it crazy to love a angel?

Xavier stroked her cheek with his thumb and not for one second did he doubt that he cared about her. The grip his other arm had on her waist loosened. He wasn't going to complicate things by overthinking, and screwing up a good thing.

Alison blushed fruishly. "Why are you doing this?" She asked with a small smile. SHe wanted to know why. She wanted him to never let her go but... he was a angel...

Mark laughed so hard. "True love very true." He followed her example. He laid down and smiled at her.

"Because I don't care what anybody else thinks anymore." Xavier said simply, but with a smile of his own. "I care about you, a lot, and I won't hide it just to keep this whole fight going.".

Krystal couldn't help but glance over and smile back. His smile was almost contagious. She gazed up at the sky, remembering what is was like when she wasn't a demon, when she was an angel and everything seemed right. No going back there now, but it was a nice memory.

"Fight?" Alison asked. She was thinking about it. Was he talking about himself or... the angel and demon fight. It would be news to the school about thier love.

MArk looked at her and said "You okay?" He asked. "Anything you want to talk about?" He asked with a smile.

"The one between angels and demons...what's 'suppose' to be between us..." Xavier explained, his smile having a small twinge of sadness. It was just a whole waste of time, really.

Krystal was a little surprised, but asked carefully, "What do you think of demons?" She wasn't going to talk to him about the other thing until she knew his opinion on, well, what she was.
