Artemis frowned and lightly traced the scar with her pinky, examining its rigged surface "I'm sure you'll get it back"

Autumn: I was still driving, not exactly happy about it, feeling totally exauhsted, not having the time to really recovered from everything that happened. "Don't make it rain again, please." I said, my voice shaking slightly, my knuckles white as I held to the steering wheel. Stupid cars. I hate cars. Stupid stupid stupid..

Drake looked her over and raised an eyebrow " you saved our a$$es" he stated in awe

Autumn: "Well, no one else was doing it and I wasn't about to let that hooker win." Or get her claws in you, I thought to myself. Besides, I had already become accustomed to being "free." I didn't want to go back.My voice still held a slight shakyness(sp?) to it, and sounding more like a croak.

(sorry, just closing up the store)
Drake grimaced, "I'm sorry, I should have been more alert. Are you okay?"

Blake: "I wont." I told Autumn then turned back to Artemis. "I wish I was as sure as you."

Autumn: I took a deep breath, the action feeling like it seared my lungs. It felt just as if I had been strangled for the last ten minutes. "I'm fine." I muttered, as I tried to decide where to go. "Where should we go? I had no plan, I have no ideas. I'm sorry."

Ryder: I groaned and sat up rubbing my head. "what the heck just happened?"

Lana: "I have no idea." I started towards the car and glanced back at him then sighed. "I really don't feel like driving, could you come with me, please?" I asked trying to be polite.

Ryder: I shot her an incredulous look that said 'i just woke up from passing out!' but got up reluctantly and sighed. "Fine." I muttered and walked towards the car unhappily.

Drake shot her a worried glance and grabbed the wheel, slipping her onto his lap as he took control of the car "no clue, but maybe that's for the best. If we don't know, then how could they?"

Artemis traced his face thoughtfully "s'not hard you know.. just got to believe in yourself like I do"

(I'm just locking up the store then heading home. be 30 mins at the very max

Lana: "Thank-you!" I said and walked to the car. "I've never seen you get beat that bad before."

Blake: I gripped both of her hands and looked into her eyes. "Alright, I'll make you a deal."

Autumn: I nodded and slid over into the passenger seat and leaned against the window

Ryder: "Shut up," I growled as I slid into the front seat. I wasn't use to driving, I usually just poofed everywhere

Lana: I laughed then glanced at him sideways, "I really am grateful your driving me home."

Ryder: I gave her a grunt in response. She was acting weird. Since when was she nice to me? I kept my eyes on the road as we headed back to the facility.

Artemis tilted her head curiously "... deal? bout what?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows

Drake looked over at Autumn and shot her a smile, slipping his hand into hers

Autumn: I looked over at him and gave his hand a small squeeze, a small smile on my lips. I felt exauhsted and my throat was burning, not to mention my body still aching from the pain. Since my senses were heightened, so was the pain that the guy had inflicted. "When do you think we'll stop?"

Lana: I shook my head, why did I say that? Sigh, I must have hit my head harder than I thought. "We'll head out first thing tomorrow morning , can you be at my house by 10?"

Drake shrugged, "the further away from them the better" he examined her face "unless you need a break" he amended

Blake: "I'll believe in myself and try to learn control, if you believe in yourself and train with me. Your wind power can get stronger I think."

Ryder: I raised my brow at her and nodded. "Ya. I can do that." I muttered. I wasn't about to argue. That was actually a decent time, rather than her usual tyranical 1300 hrs or whatever. It usually was at 4 in the morning she would be asking to meet.

Autumn: I closed my eyes and sighed. "I just want to be in a bed right now." I muttered. It was true. I wanted to be in a nice soft bed where I could rest and be warm and forget all my fears. But no. I was stuck in a car.

Artemis frowned at his words, believe in herself? what was there to believe "s'not just the wind you know" she told him, changing the subject. "it's the elements. Air was just more common in the cells so.." she shrugged "that's what I'm better with"

Drake nodded "can you hang in there a little longer? I know just the place"
