Sorcery: A Twist In Time

Artemis frowned, not liking how he was blaming himself. She shook her head "we weren't captured, were fine" She looked around, trying to make herself believe her words "we're fine.. right?" she sqeauked

Blake: "Yes," I said forcing my voice to be soothing. "We're all fine."

Artemis brought herself up to him, struggling hard to bring some emotion back into her eyes and quill his self hate. "then what a stupid thing to be sorry for" she whispered

Blake: I shook my head, "I promised you that I wouldn't let get taken again and that happened. I promised myselfi wouldn't let you get hurt again, and look at what just happened."

(gtg to work, be back in 5 hours)

Artemis frowned, sinking further into his arms as she brought his face to hers "don't know about you but I feel pretty good right now"

Blake: I placed a smile on my lips, "Yes, this is nice." I leaned forward and kissed her.

Color rushed to artemis's face and she wrapped her arms around him, not feeling quite so dead anymore. Why did his touch affect her so?

I pulled her as close as I could and laid my head on top of hers. I stared out the window almost letting my heartache go, it was hard to hold onto with her right here in my arms.

Artemis closed her eyes and would you believe it? She smiled, drifting off to sleep. It had been a long day to say the least

Blake: my eyes on the sky I pulled at my power. If I was to keep her I needed to get stronger. I decided to do something simple first and made a cloud shape itself in to a twisting tunnel and defend to the ground next to the car.

Artemis drifted in and out of dreams, most were of the always present drake but Blake started making an appearance, the frequency increasing by the dream until at last her nightmares were gone

Blake: I lifted the cloud a little and made it rain. I messed around with the amount of rain pouring down. I smiled, I wasn't to awful at controlling the weather. As the thought ran across my mind the storm slipped from my control and lightning struck the ground right in front of the car.

Artemis yelled and startled awake, her heart pounding as she looked around wildly

Blake: Crap! I pulled the storm back under control and pushed it away. Then leaned down and made soothing sound to Artemis.

how can i jump in?

Drake turned and shot Blake a look "experimenting?" he asked, tilting his head.

Artemis finally connected the dots and relaxed slowly, leaning her head against his chest as she tried to steady her heart rate and catch her frantic breaths

Blake: I looked up, "Yeah, sorry." I patted Artemis's head hoping she would go back to sleep.

Victoria: I snuck outside and let out a breath. I needed to do this and do this fast. I lite my hand on fire and start to chant. I looked back and saw nobody comming.

Artemis sighed and nuzzle closer to him "scared me" she whispered

Victoria: I finished what I set out to finished. I got up and smiled no fainting thistime. But when I walked to take a step I fell to the ground and fainted.

Blake: "I'm sorry." I said and wrapped my arms around her.

"it's fine... You getting the hang of it all?" Artemis asked

Blake: I winced and let go to rub my temples. "I've had my powers as long as. I can remember. But I've lost what control I once had. When Grace and I were held by the government we went under tons of tests and I was even getting stronger. But when Grace broke me out that day she couldn't. Completely protect me, I got hit right here, " I pointed to a scar on my forehead. "Ever since then I get these headaches that make me lose control. I don't know if I'll ever fix it."
