CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Sparrow:
"Can you be more cryptic please? I think I almost understood that last part,"

Sanae
I smile. "Just a cryptic person," i say with a shrug. "You wanted to save Ami from Ayakashi. That part of it is disappearing. Even through all of that" I gesture to his cuts and bruises. "You still defended it, saying it wasn't an it."

"She's not an-" Milo spat out, screeching to stop. Where in the hell did that come from? Gasping Milo clutched at his head, images pouring through his mind. His gashed hand flitted by, followed by the ground falling out underneath him, a loud bang, the angel before him on the ground a floor below, a hazy image of a girl who looked like Ami except with cruel eyes. The memories shook, and blurred like the camera angles in the Blaire Witch Trial. Sounds were muted and staggered. "Agh!" He cried out cringing, as he pulled his head in closer towards his chest and curled into a half-fetal position.

Sparrow:
"Whoa, hey!" I was up in a flash. I hung over him, unsure of what to do. So I just stroked his heat dampened hair and tried to breathe evenly. "Shhh Milo, shush. It's okay.." I murmured.

Emily
I steal away my hands surprised. "Milo?" I ask carefully, concerned.
"Still defending her?" Sanae asks amused.
My turn to get annoyed, and that doesn't happen a lot. "Would you just..." I wave a hand at the door, icing the entrance over with a glare. I sigh heavily, turning my attention back at Milo unsure.

Shocked and shaking Milo leaned into Sparrow, his breathing uneven. "Em-" he said disgusted at how weak his voice sounded "Can you...make it happen again?" He didn't really know the extent of her powers, she seemed all-powerful to him. Maybe if she could do something to trigger another splurge of memories then over time he could remember. He looked up at her the question printed sturdily in his eyes.

Sparrow:
"Can we wait until your physical injuries have been healed before we start pulverizing you mentally?" I attemped to joke. I looked over at Emily, "how much more can you heal him?"

Emily
"Another minute or two," i say, hands hovering over him. "I'm healing the important things first, but we can do more tomorrow." A hand to his head, cooling him down a little. "Just calm down, Milo. Rest for now, we'll get all of your memories sorted after." The other hand to his chest, the heated metal half, trying to get his temperature back down to something normal.

Milos head nodded forward as Emilys soothing hands flowed over him. Breathing deeply he laid back, a drugged look falling down like a curtain over his face. in a sleepy tone he asked "Whats it feel like to you?"

Emily
I glance up at his sleepy eyes, looking back down at my hands as they frost his metal chest slightly. "Might seem like a gift but..." I trail off a moment, pressing my lips to a thin line. "...It feels like a curse most of the time. My friends and I always in danger from the people who made us. I can't visit my family to tell them that I'm fine because they're probably being watched. Can't get too excited or too sad because my emotions control my powers most of the time."
I sigh slightly, meeting his eyes again. "It's hard more times than its easy. Sometimes it's difficult not to try and blame someone for all of it." To blame Ami, mostly, but what did she know at the time? The Institute tricked her as much as it tricked the others.

Milo rested his cheek on the cool mattress and closed his eyes. "I'm sorry that you can't soothe the ache in your heart for your family, and that you constantly have to face the pain of being able to heal everyones wounds, but not your own." Milo turned his face towards Emily, gratitude peeping through the exhaustion in his eyes "Thank you."

Emily
I give a small smile, leaning back and sit on the floor with Sparrow. "No troubles, really. When you can heal, you heal, nothing to it. And...can't stay bad forever, right? It has to get better some time."

Milo mulled over what Emily said for a moment before falling into a light sleep. His chest rose up and down smoothly, no longer hindered by the pain that had racked it formally. The white-haired boy sighed, unaware of the smiles that it rose from the two girls on the floor.

Emily
I lean back against a chair, the corners of my lips turned up in a sort of sad smile, headache starting in the back of my skull. "Doesn't remember a thing?" I wonder aloud.

Sparrow:
"Not that I know of. He doesnt remember me or you or Ami or this place... or anything. Nothing since the bar we picked him up in." I sighed, watching the slow raise and fall of his shoulders.

Emily
I nod slightly, a small frown on my face. "You alright?" I ask carefully, glancing over at her from the floor.

Sparrow:
"I'm gonna live." I answered blankly, finally looking over to meet her gaze.

Emily
I look back to Milo after a moment. "So...Do you think he'll be different now, personality wise? I mean...you and Ami have changed him a lot since that bar. Suddenly forgetting all of that..." Even though she probably didn't want to hear this, she had to know it as a possibility. The Milo she knew might be gone now, with little chance of returning exactly the way he was.

Sparrow:
I pursed my lips, really considering it. "Yeah, he'll be different," I could already tell. From the way that he talked to the way that he breathed, I could tell.
But the more thought I put into it, the more I realized, he didnt look quite so tired anymore- like the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders. His features werent as strained. His happy "go get 'em" dispositions not so... somber, anymore.
"But maybe it's okay if he isn't the way he was. He wasnt so bad of a person to start with. If anything... we changed him for the worse. Maybe this is my chance to change him for the better," I mused with a sad, but hopeful, smile.

Emily
I swallow and press my lips to a thin line, looking away slightly. "Yeah...maybe."
Though the only outcome I see of all this is having to deal with Ayakashi when Ami doesn't come back. And then how better will /any/ of us be? The girl just doesn't understand. But through all of this I try and stay neutral. Listening to both sides of the situation before taking my side...only I don't know which I support yet...

Sparrow:
"Why is her soul more important than his?" Before Emily could speak I added, "I know your thinking of her. Of Ami. The only time people give me that look its when I'm not being sympathetic of Ami. Which is kind of all the time," I finished

Emily
"Why is anyone more important than another?" I ask quietly. "But we don't do /something/ for her she's going to lose her emotions. She'll go back to being a weapon, and I'm pretty sure you certainly don't want her running about with us."
I sigh tired, leaning my head back and closing my eyes. "It's hard for all of us. One hand...she cursed us all with these powers. With all of the people who want to see us as objects rather than as people. To blame her for all of this." I pause, glancing over at Sparrow with an understanding look.
"But the thing is she doesn't /know/. She's so naive and ignorant. Stupid of real life and the way things work naturally. So...on the other hand...it's hard not to see her as just a child. While we've had our whole lives to learn of life, love, morals, what's right, what's wrong, death, hurt, emotions naturally...she's had all of that thrust upon her in just two years.
"And it is hard not to get frustrated with that. It's a cheap excuse, i know but...just picture a three year old who feels everything that we've felt in nearly twenty years. Everything. Happiness, pain, loneliness, confusion, frustration, love, fear, anger....I don't think it'd be much different of a personality then."

Sparrow:
"Forgive me, but boo-hoo. I get it- her life is Shithole, USA and the universe has some personal vendetta against her having a normal life but... I dont know... I just dont have sympathy. For anyone, really, not just her. Anyone whom I have to hear about how much worse their life is than mine.

Everyone has their own personal problems. Milo doesnt have an arm. Or a heart. Or various other vital organs. I raised myself in a freakin ghetto because my parents were flattened by a car, my sister hates me with every fiber of her being, and my brother has the IQ of a dead weasle. Cricket and Finn have a bounty on their head so large I've probably never even hear of the number and would be shot dead on sight if someone had the chance. Everyone hurts."

Emily
"Everyone does," i confirm with a small nod. "Doesn't mean we have to hurt alone. We support each other in this little group of ours, don't we? Sort of our own little family."
I give a small amused smile. "And we aren't giving out awards here, Sparrow. I don't think anyone's more worse than someone else. It's simply how you learn from it all. How one either crumple under the pressure or fight on for something a bit more better. And we're all fighting for that, aren't we?"

Sparrow:
"And yet somehow she's the only one who never seems to make any. progess." I said, actually working to keep my voice down.
"I mean sure, we all support each other, but theres a point when you have to sit someone down and say, 'Okay sweetie, I'm taking the training wheels off now.'" I sighed and grit my teeth, knowing that I was begining to go on a pointless rant.
Taking another breath and getting to my feet, I started again. "Maybe you havent noticed the planets starting to aline with her skull, but her welfare has become our "family's" new favorite hobbie lately. So you'll have to excuse me if I'm the only person to stand up and be different, but my life will not revolve around the antics of a distressed three year old. I'm sorry,"
I ended and headed for the door, stopping in the door frame long enough to add "Make sure someone's there when he wakes up. If you have to, you can come get me. My room is the next hall over." and left.
